      We signed a contract with Aptive Environmental on June 9, 2022. I informed Aptive's representative ********************* on March 15, 2022 that we wanted to cancel our current plan. She replied on March 15, 2022 stating "I was taking a look at the account and noticed that you just have two services left before the service agreement will be complete. You do have one upcoming on Thursday, March 23rd and one more after that." When I asked is the contract ended automatically after the final service, she informed me that I would "need to call in to close out the account and if I did not then the services would continue as normal." She said she would give me a call to process the account closure. **** did leave me several voicemails, but i never spoke to her to finalize account cancellation. ******************** completed an additional service/treatment on March 23, 2022. On March 27, 2022 I received another email from **** stating "Due to not being able to make contact, I've closed your account and applied the early termination fee of $199. I can simply remove the fee but you would need to complete the final service." If I never called to confirm cancellation, services should have remained intact since she told me there was no way to cancel other than to call in.On July 22, 2022 I emailed requesting an online payment portal as I was not comfortable giving any payment information by phone. They emailed back stating "Unfortunately, online payment would not be able to be processed. Due to the account being terminated, it closed the online account as well. Payment would need to be made over the phone." giving me no option. I received a text message a week later saying I had been turned over to collections under a misspelled name which looked like fraud.1. I do not believe my service should have been cancelled without me calling to give verbal confirmation since their rep told me that was the only way.2. Why would I cancel with a penalty of $199 when my final service charge would be $148.73?

      First appointment and the day we signed up was July 13,2023 for a promotion of 50.00 second Appointment August 21st
      To spray around the house to get rid of mosquitoes and ankle biter mosquitoes The company has previously came out to perform the same service twice with no results. Said they were placing fly traps by the doors and instead pt up hornet nest. We don’t have hornets.
      Was told we would also be invoiced and could pay on customer portal. They charged our card we used to sign up with we were told it would invoiced. Also never received our service contract.

      I am rejecting this response because the response from the comps was not to my satisfaction.  They have not taken responsibility for the initial communication regarding their services that was made to us. They offered to credit the last service that was paid and have it as a credit on my account, that is not to my satisfaction as the services that were offered is not what they offer.  According to an employee that came out to my home after the complaint was filed stated they do. It offer fly traps, they never had nor will they in the future. Also according to the merchants internal paperwork it does not state the chemicals used treat ankle bitters. It reads mosquitoes. The tech could not confirm they would treat that particular type of mosquito. Those two reasons are why we got the service as the rep had assured us their service handles those issues.  As I stated we feel we were scammed.

      I have used several Pest control companies in the past and have had issues with service and quality of work. Aptive is no different.

      They are unwilling to accommodate the fact that I need service provided after 4pm, even though they agreed and confirmed that this was doable. Now, every time a specialist comes out they show up while I am at work and cant provide the service, which has left me in this never ending loop of re scheduling and still being ignored. All the while, I have ants in my house. I have documented messages where they say one thing will happen and it a totally different thing occurs. It took me nearly a month and 3 attempts to get one service completed that didn't even work.

      I want out of my contract because not only has the treatment not worked, they are also unwilling to do anything about making it better.

      On 8/24/2023 We had a treatment performed on our property...we have had issues with bugs, wasps, etc in our backyard for months since switching to Aptive. Now I know why...after reviewing video footage of the tech spraying the property. The tech sprayed the front yard and moved to the back yard where he ran out of spray. The tech proceeded to walk over to my water spicket and fill his empty backpack sprayer with only water (no chemicals were added)...and continue to spray my backyard with MY OWN WATER. I have all of this on video...

      I contacted Aptive on 8/26/2023 after reviewing the footage and was told a manager would contact me within 24 to 48 hours...here it is 48 hours later and no one has contacted me.

      I would like my contract canceled without any fees...this is fraud...

      Hello,
      We purchased a service through this provider for outdoor and indoor bug spray and the supplier never showed up to spray the inside of our home. We have reached out to them several times, but have not gotten any response. They charged our credit card, but didn’t provide the service.

      I am an aptive customer. However, I was incorrectly charged 149.00 for what should have been a free re-service on Aug 15 2023. I had previously paid for my scheduled service near the end of July 2023. Aptive has a policy in place that allows for a free re-service or re-spray if they are requested to come back out before the next "scheduled" service. I made an appointment online for a free indoor re-service due to seeing an uptick in bugs and also due to recent rain since the last scheduled service. The service was completed and I received an email for an invoice that had an amount of 149.00. I contacted customer support and was informed that it could have been a system error on the part of the online scheduling system. At this point, I would like my 149.00 refunded to my bank account as an amicable and fair resolution. Not a customer credit or account credit.

      The company claims to be a pest control service. Originally we were approached and mentioned how we had snakes living around. The rep that was going around selling it sold it to ** on the premise that if we get rid of the food source, snakes will need to find a different place to find food. Which is fair, and we were very clear that they were'nt getting rid of the snakes, just the pests around that they could feast on. Over the last few weeks, we had I believe 3 visits, and we didn't see a decrease in the amount of bugs. They did get rid of a wasp nest, however I noticed we had several wasps in our wasp traps. The bushes are still full of grasshoppers, and we have seen an increase in the amount of flies and spiders around and even IN our home. When I called to have that addressed, the tech had no solution other than covering a vent with pantyhose from the dollar tree. The straw that broke the camels back was when the last tech was here Saturday, 8/19, the tech came and went, and left our back gate open while our dog was still outside. I cancelled today , 8/23/23, and we were never verbally made aware of the $199 cancellation fee. I skimmed the contract and did find where the cancellation fee was located, however I do feel a bit deceived since it wasn't mentioned verbally either at the time of sale, or at the time of cancellation itself. This business is not very upfront. I am now out over $300 and I still have plenty of bugs in the yard, and in my home.

      On 8/21/2023 Aptive sent a text that they have service scheduled for 8/21/23. I thought it odd as they were just out 8/3/2023 and texted to reschedule, response was it was too late to change. I tried to access my account and am not able to and no one is getting back to me. I called and was told that they cannot refund the $169 that they charged only that it will be free next scheduled appointment. I am to have service quarterly and they are coming more frequently than agreed on. I really am starting to feel like this company is a scam and will never use them again.

      An Aptive salesman came to my door and convinced me to get the treatment done [he actually paid for my first treatment by sending me the cost of the first service ($29) to me via Venmo]. I was told that they would spray entire front yard, the fenced area of back yard, and treat the roof overhangs. The first technician did exactly that, but I feel it had zero effect due to the sudden increase in bugs and spiders the day after the treatment. The next scheduled treatment day came around, and I tried to reschedule because I wanted to voice my concerns to Aptive. The link to reschedule said I had no schedule appointments. A few days later, the Aptive guy said he was almost done with my second treatment via text. I walked outside and noticed he didn't spray the front yard at all, he sprayed the part of the backyard that I specifically asked not to be sprayed due to having pets, and he did nothing to the roof overhangs. I have 4k video (too large to add on here) of the spiderwebs every foot around the roof overhangs, which are really low on my single story home, as I can touch the roof from the ground. I am currently trying to reschedule the third treatment due to the unhappiness with the first two, and the website conveniently crashes when you try to reschedule. I believe this is intentional, because it has happened multiple times at different times of the day and different days.

      I live in a two story house and answered a knock on my door. It was an aptive salesperson. After 45 minutes of negotiation I signed up. Supposedly received 2 of my 4 treatments and paid for them. When I discovered a wasp issue I called them up for a retreatment. They came out and sprayed. Two days later wasps were back. Called and asked if they use dust to get to any nests. Said yes and came out to retreat. Met tech and he just sprayed. Asked why and stated can only dust as high as he could reach. Issue was only about 7 feet from ground. He had no ladder or duster. Offer 2 solutions and he said sorry. Called and spoke with manager and he stated would be out in a couple days to dust. Never showed. Called again about 5 days later and they scheduled another appointment with ******* and duster. Tech came out again and just sprayed, NO duster again. Asked tech to call me before he left. No call. Txted him 2 hours later to inquire about what he did. No response. Called and spoke with account manager for area, long story short, manager did not respond tech said there was a hive in walls. He did not even check. I have cameras around perimeter of house. Basically said nothing they could do. Even worse the tech wrote a work slip stating he sprayed for ants, beetles and spiders around the perimeter of my house. All not true. Did get a final call from someone apologizing for the tech and wanting to come out and look at the issue. I declined cause I already canceled the contract and bought the supplies to dust myself. Not sure why they would sell pest control on a two story house and they have no means to reach anything unless it can be sprayed or under 6 foot. Not even sure what the spray really does cause heard a few different stories.

      I am rejecting this response because:Aptive wants evidence of my claim.  I would like aptive to prove that they performed the services.  I am unable to get into my portal with aptive.  I do have one receipt that their technician stated he performed several services and the services he stated were not even the reason why he came to my house.  I contacted the account manager for this area and she stated, ohhhh he must have just put in the wrong information.  Also she stated the tech stated the wasp issue I have could not be completed by them cause there was a nest.  Not sure how he would know cause he never got on a ladder to look.  This is true cause I have been told by aptive that their techs do not have ladders.  Was also told this by a tech.  There are many other issues.   So I would like aptive to prove they provided the services they charged me for

      I am unable to get the information.  Aptive has blocked me from my account online.  All I have is a screenshot of a service ticket that looks correct but the information that would show it is wrong is in my aptive account that I can no longer access.

      I am rejecting this response because:  aptive has not provided any resolution(s) as they stated.  They made up several excuses as to why they did not a provide the services they were suppose to and charged me for.  They have locked me out of my aptive portal so I can not get any of my past bills/tickets their service technician issued that were not actual services they delivered.  I have asked aptive to prove to me that a technician came to my house and provided a service and they have not provided me any proof.  They sure took my money. There was no way I could not pay them cause I had to sign up for automatic payments.  Now I understand why they force automatic payments on a customer.  I had to cancel my credit card to stop the payments.  So I am not sure what aptive believes they have given me several resolutions for.  The only resolution I see is that my account has been closed and they dont have access to my payment.  They still have 2 payments they took without proving they provided any service..
