1 star**** ALERT! Terrible company! We canceled their service when we moved after one month of service. Now they are sending us to collections for a bill we never received for an account that has our name on it and was opened by someone else two months after we moved. They will not let us close the account because we are not calling from the number linked to the account. I asked how I was supposed to call from a number that is not mine to cancel the account. So they are continuing to bill us for an account that does not belong to us at an address we have not lived at for 6 months. We have noway to cancel the account and we are being sent to collections for it. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!Review fromDoug S

1 starVery poor company. Have video from ring doorbell of lawn with date stamp where lawn looks good. Next day ring showed tech walking over same area and 24 hrs later big spot of grass dead. Did not come back to life all summer. Had to reseed. They denied it was their fault ??? Finished contract because had to pay full year regardless. Now over year later they claim to want more money. Very dishonest company. Should have checked reviews before ever agreeing to their high pressure sales tactics. BEWARE !!!!!Aptive Environmental, LLC

1 starAs everyone has already stated, I will again as I am a former customer. Hostile door to door sales tactics with all out lies at any cost. After one month, I decided to pay the $199 fee to get out of the contract. They were using watered down *************** that you can buy from ********** in order to treat my property. After paying the $199 early withdrawal fee and a year later, they are now again trying to charge me $199 under a new invoice, unrelated to any type of services ever rendered. These fraudsters have even tried coming back to my door to try and sell me again, which I promptly escorted them off my property. Stay far far away, it's fraud people.Aptive Environmental, LLC

1 starThis company uses very misleading tactics, I would even say they outright lie to potential customers about being able to pay month to month and cancel anytime, when in reality you are locked in a contract that costs money to cancel. My husband and I both heard the salesperson say we can cancel anytime if we aren't satisfied with the service. We are now stuck with a cancelation fee in the month of December when we need money the most. The services we received during the summer were not even worth the price. We had swarms of flies and mosquitos in the yard even right after treatments. Please go inside your house and hide when you see these people coming.Aptive Environmental, LLC

1 starHad a gentleman come to my house for a pest control plan, I told him we rent he told me that most rentals dont include pest control. He assured me if I signed up that day I could check my lease and cancel within 3 days if we do indeed have pest control included. I texted the gentleman the next day and let him know that I checked with our landlord and we do have pest control so I would not need their services to which he responded. Yet I still had a pest control gentleman show up to spray and I turned him away letting him know the situation. I proceeded to call customer service who assured me it would be cancelled. Following month I get a text about an appointment again, to which I called customer service for the second time to tell them I do not need their services and that I cancelled within the 3 days to which I was told my plan was not cancelled. I check my bank account and I am once again charged but this time its $139. The following month I once again get a text and charge for $139 that I have an appointment, I call customer service again for the third time and let them know whats going on. I have had to cancel my debit card because they refuse to stop charging my card after multiple attempts to cancel. So now I am out over $300 for NO SERVICES to my home. Im a single mom so I hope you feel good about taking money from me. Going on another month and I have now received another text about an appointment, thankfully you cant charge me anymore since I changed debit cards. 1 starSales *** sold service as a monthly pest treatment. Aptive did provide the 1st treatment without issue. When I called for the 20 day initial follow up I was told it would be scheduled ***** after initial treatment, which was within the timeframe for the next treatment. I was told the sales *** should not have told me 20 days. Never received that treatment. Had to call in ****** when next treatment was late and again in Sept, stating I would no longer be calling for a service I was told was automatic and did not require a call from the customer. Was charged 2 more months with no service provided. Called to cancel when the next treatment was scheduled 1 week short of 3 months. Company refused to reverse charges for service not provided and insisted I had to pay a cancellation fee even though they were in breach of contract. Presented to me as a local company. ** is not local to **. Would not recommend this company. The only reason for 1 star is because there's no option for zero stars.Aptive Environmental, LLC

1 starThis company is absolutely the worst at customer relations. They never show up, make appointments they dont keep and send their technicians out without being prepared. Did I mention they lie to your face and tell you want you want to hear and then do whatever they want. I told the landlord to fire them. I figured after three appointments that had been canceled unbeknownst to us that it was time to move on to a new company. Whatever you do make sure you dont hire these people. 1 starAptive Breeched contract. Aptive failed to provide services agreed upon. Lack of follow through with Operations Manager. I continued to fulfill my monthly payments in spite of their failure. I was forced to ****** contract due to their breech. After numerous attempts and telephone calls, I was reassured and clarified (numerous times) that a refund would be issued. I was asked to wait a week for my refund. I was told that I would receive it by 11/20/25. On 11/25/25, I was informed by the Operations Supervisor, that a refund was going to be done in the form of a voucher. A "voucher". I was quite perplexed. Why would I want a voucher? I informed the Operations Supervisor that first of all, I was "done" with Aptive, did not trust them, and had already cancelled the contract. I did not want a voucher. I wanted a refund for services I paid for and services that Aptive failed to render. He apologized and reported that there wasn't anything else he could do. 1 starDO NOT SUBSCRIBE to Aptive Pest Control. This is door to door sales and high pressure. Once they get you into a long contract (very steep penalties for early out) youll end up paying almost $2,000.00 per year and when you want to get out of it they make it extremely difficult. You basically have to tell them to mind their own business and quit calling me here! This is a bona fide racquet. *********** for customer service is off shore and the process is long and stupid. Just go with a local company who has a local number and someone you can talk to directly. If I could leave negative stars, I would.Aptive Environmental, LLC
