      Absolutely horrible! Salesman solicited their services touting spider web removal from our screened pool area as well as mosquito treatments. First service was great and thorough. Unfortunately, that was it. I have had to call them back several times for spiderweb removal, after the third time I gave up and have been doing it myself. I am not sure what kind of mosquito treatment they are using, but it is definitely ineffective. I have had mosquitos in my home for the past two months! I cannot wait until next month when my contract expires. They are the worst!!!

      The salesman *** approach me on March 29, 2025 to try to sign me up for Aptive pest Control. I told him i wasn't interested. After much pressure and telling me he signed up my neighbor, he would spray in and out of my house, and my storage sheds and back yard. After telling him no, he said he could do it for half price of $49 to give it a try. Nothing was ever said about an ********************************************************************* that when he does that it automatically signs with a signature. He even showed me about a dozen signatures with a different style. I come to find out he fraudulently used one of the signatures to signed an 18 month contract that I was not aware of. There are over 1200 complaints with the BBB about fraudulent service of this company using collection tactics to scare people into paying $199 dollars to get out of the contract. Of which I knew nothing about. Within 10 days there was already a siteing of a bug and spider that this one time service was to take care of. When I received notice they were to return in April for another service spray, I notified them to NOT spray. To CANCEL any more service that I DID NOT agree to in the first place. When I contact the company they are threatening me with a bill of $199 to cancel out of a 18 month contract, that i knew nothing about. The sales *** did not tell me anything about an 18 month contract. I immediately contacted my financial institution and canceled my credit card under the status of fraudulent activity. And told Aptive Environmental of my actions. They continue to tell me that I am responsible for the early cancelation. Should they harm my credit rating by turning this over to collections as i have seen them threaten other individuals, this will be taken to small claims court. They need to be stopped of taking advantage of elderly people, using scare tactics and lying to people just to get people to try their service. Then charge them $199 to get out of a fraud contract.

      I wrote the manager for our branch in ******. To cancel my service the next day after walking my yard and finding granules all over my back yard after telling them they can't put that back there cause of my daughters goats. Well one of them got hold of them and we have been having issues with him ever since. I told him to cancel and he said he would after three days of no cancelation email and no response ce I told him I was calling corporate and making a complaint. He told me her would have someone from there *** reach out. Nothing the other day I got a reminder. I emailed him again telling him if anyone stepped foot on my property they would be arrested for trespass as I asked him 21 days ago to cancel service. Still nothing back.

      The sales person was polite, persistent, and promised me many services. I asked for a business card so that I could call the office after I had time to research the company. He had no business cards and no information to give to me so that I could read the contract, have a copy of the contract, and actually know that what he was promising me was possible. I did not receive a copy of the contract the next day and still have not received a copy of the contract in my email (one week later). I have called the company 5 times, tried both the "waiting it out "and the "will call you back" options and finally got to talk with humans two times. I did receive a brief email response that tells the cost I will be charged after each service visit, but that email does not specify what the contracted services are or the frequency of the service visits. It took a full week to get inadequate responses to my questions so I was not able to cancel the contract within the 72 hour window. I would not recommend this company to friends or neighbors.

      I have never used service with Aptive, but they continue calling me stating I owe them $52. I tell them this is in error since I have never used their services but they continue calling. Their incessant spam calling led me to register my phone on the national "Do Not Call" list. Despite this they continue calling.

      Almost impossible to cancel contract and when you do its $199. The sales pitch is complete lies with a super cheap rate that day. Then they to schedule you relentlessly for services of $150+ close to monthly. They will text you that you have an appointment that they schedule without you. When you attempted to cancel, you can only reschedule in the next 2 weeks, forcing you to pay for services you don't need. You have no control over how many times a year they show up. They want to come in middle of winter! No. No, bugs are living out there! When you call to cancel, be ready for the lower price for next service routine. Its like dating a crazy person...more trouble than they are worth, show up uninvited, show up too many times, expensive. DO NOT FALL FOR THE ROLL-UP SALES PEOPLE!

      ******** business and customer service. I continually asked them to stop coming; however they continued to show up unauthorized. Would not recommend and would encourage all to stay away from Aptive!

      Their sales person chose to ride his Segway type unit up our handicap ramp and park on my porch. If that is how they try to get customers I would never do business with them

      Almost all other companies start at higher commissions. 18% is a joke, and Aptive tries to sell you on the idea that youve gotta pay your dues as a newbie before you deserve access to their exclusive benefits. For pest, 25% is the standard starting rate. Anything less is thievery. If youre good enough that they want to resign you, 40% base should be the demand.Aptive also uses their contracts as a bludgeon. I was one of the top **** on my team (which was one of the highest producing teams in the country that year), and they still made me sign an agreement the one solitary week I missed quota saying that if I did it again Id get sent home without a backend. ***** companies dont threaten their own **** like that. Especially the valued ones.They also charge a ton of fees from their ****. ***** companies provide the iPads, shirts, apartment cleaning, etc. Never paid for any of that after I left Aptive.There are a dozen other complaints I have about Aptive that were specific to them. And then I have complaints about sales in general, but everybody has complaints about their job. The money is why it is/isnt worth putting up with.
