I have signed up with Adaptive Pest Control recently within the last 5 months. I have had multiple treatments that were supposed to cover my full property including garage, landscape, and yard. Since they started the treatments I have seen more ant hills in my yard, along my driveway, and sidewalks. I’ve never had any issues in the 10 years I’ve lived here until now. It’s as almost as if they are feeding and bringing in ants. It’s starting to destroy areas of my yard. I have messaged them after treatments and they say it’s normal. Ridiculous response. I would not recommend them to anyone. Very disappointed and now stuck in a contract. It feels very unprofessional if not crooked. They spray and don’t use granular so I feel it isn’t working. I have been trying to reach customer service for 2 days. I have call and been put on hold 10-15 minutes never had someone answer. I requested a call back which they offered, it was supposed to be withing 10 minutes. It has now been 1 hour an still no call back. I cannot reach a live person just a virtual assistant. This is the worst customer service I have ever empierced. I need to talk to a live person,Business Response

So far in the last three months, I’ve had four people from your company stop by. I’ve asked everyone since the first one does not stop again and put me on the do not call list for your company. Today at 9 PM I received a knock on my door from a representative from company, trying to sell me your services. Take me off your list and do not contact me ever again. I do not need your service your company sucks and I do not want anyone from your company reaching out to me again.Business Response

I hired this company approximately two years ago and have had them do my quarterly services as recommended. In the last few months of their service, I had them come back several times to retreat that were problematic due to increase number of ants and other insects that I had noticed. In the last month that they were there, they were out approximately four times and even sent out their supervising technician to retreat the areas based on all the recurring problems I washaving. I called for the final time to complain about how the service wasn’t working and that no matter what they did, I was still seeingan increased number of insects and ants on the property. At that point, I was very frustrated and demanded a refund of all of my moneybecause none of their products worked. The supervisor at that time told me that they were not able to do that and that the only thing she could do for me was to refund my last payment of $146 and then close my account. I agreed to that and advise please close my account and refund me my last payment if that’s all you can do . The next week I received an email saying that they declined my refund and we’re not able to issue the refund because I did not requesta discontinuance of service. I called back and spoke to a manager again and told him that it was there supervisor, who recommended my refund and toclose my account. He told me he would resubmit my refund based on the information that the supervisor would requested a refund, but I was just issued another emailsaying that the refund was still declined.
so now I paid two years into a service that provided zero services, and only promised that my bugs would slowly but surely disappear. However, theyjust increased and increased and increased. When I complained, they canceled my contract and never refunded me what they promised. Now when I called to talk the supervisor’s supervisor, they told me that’s impossible and there’s no other person that I can talk to.Business Response

Representatives from this company continuously harass and are disrespectful to people when knocking on their doors to attempt sales. We have encountered violations of commercial solicitation law in our city, including refusal to obtain permit, refusal to wear permit visibly, refusal to abide by solicitation hours, and refusal to abide by no soliciting signs.Business Response

Yard surrounding the house was last "serviced" on 06/26/25. I have a black wasp infestation on the back porch which I asked to be treated. Wasps started the last few months and have remained at same levels. I called back 4 times to get retreated. On recorded lines they said they could get someone out to treat this week and they would call me back to confirm. Each time it didn't happen. Each time I spoke to a representative, they said they had no notes. I finally called to cancel on 07/09/25 which they said they processed but would not send me a confirmation email of the cancellation --which is odd since I have received multiple emails and texts for everything else as my time as an Aptive customer. I asked for a refund for the previous treatment since it didn't work. The representative said they would provide me a refund and I asked to be transferred to their manager to confirm. The manager then said Aptive does not issue refunds and would have to put in an escalation request to email my cancellation confirmation. The manager than said in the notes that the previous representatives had told me there was no available date in the next week to reservice my house - to which I told her to pull up those recorded calls so she could hear the contrary. She then said she would "escalate" and I would hear back in 48 hrs and had no direct line for me to call back in 48 hrs, should I hear nothing. The company scams customers by having ineffective pest treatment, not basing their call center in the US so there is a significant language barrier and lack of being able to reach local person(s) who do the treatment. I request a refund only of the last treatment --that is more than fair for the overall poor service over time and waste of money.Business Response

Initial service was incomplete. Was only at my house under 30 min. She did not do all of the quoted and promised areas and she made me feel as if I was bothering her. I call to complain and do not want them to come back, I was very upset. Paid them the $119 and since I don't want them coming back they are charging me an additional ty ion $199. I did sign a contract but since they breached the contract I am not paying that additional amount. They said they have the invoice and if I don't pay it will go to collections.Business Response

This business continues to send salespeople to my house despite me asking them to stop, despite me having to call the local police on one of their salesmen who refused to leave my property, and despite a prominent no soliciting sign on my front door. They are actively violating city municipal codes, which have been reported to Code Enforcement today for citation. Salesmen are aggressive and inappropriate, they need to stop coming as this is now becoming a harassment issue.Business Response

Do NOT recommend Aptive. They promised the world when the sales guys came out but have failed to deliver. They said they would schedule appointments with me so I can keep my animals inside, instead they give a window of an ENTIRE DAY, not the 2hr window sales claimed. We had chickens penned up for the entire 90degree day only to have them show at almost 6pm.
They did not follow instructions and wound up leaving dead mice in my shed. They didn't remove the dead mice, nor did they place new traps. I tried texting and calling them only to get an overseas call center that had no idea what was happening.
After several days of trying to get them to fix their visit, all they did was schedule the next treatment a week later, again with no timeframe other than 8-5 which is not acceptable.
I'm in the process of trying to cancel my service and insisting on a refund for their job not done. It's almost impossible to talk to someone and if you do, it's an overseas call center.Business Response
