      On August 28th 2022, a sales representative came to my door to promote Aptive services. I was told there was a technician in the area so the first service was offered at a discount. The first service would cost only ***** instead of $399.00 and that they would spray that day. The tech came out and did a great job. We have seen less pests and are happy to have found a service that *** seem to be working.One problem that I have is that the sales rep verbally told me that within 30 days Aptive would come out and perform a follow up service for FREE. Aptive came out on Sept. 30th but they charged me $129.00 for it, which is my regular contract rate. When I called the rep she told me that I was told wrong and that it is charged service. I texted the sales rep to find out why it wasn't free as promised and of course I received no response. After re-reading my "contract", there is no mention of the free service that I was promised, though I was verbally told.The other problem that I have is that I was told by the rep that this service is quarterly, which means 4 times per year. He asked if I had a pest company prior, how often I was paying, and confirmed that this was cheaper for me overall. After doing the math it was a no brainer. Well unfortunately they now have me scheduled in OCTOBER. This is not quarterly as I was promised. This is a way to get 6 services out of me and charge me an extra $250.00!! Yes, the contract says the services are every ****** days but that is not what I was TOLD. I even repeated back the terms of the contract before signing and he confirmed it was correct.Basically I am happy with the service provided at this point. But I want my $129.00 refunded to me for a service that I was promised would cost $0.00 and I want my services quarterly, not bi-monthly. If Aptive cannot give me what was promised I will cancel.This experience is a great example fraudulent inducement to enter into a contract at its finest!

      I was told by the door to door salesman that I would pay $135 billed quarterly. I started service August 2022. I was immediately billed 135 then I was again billed 135 in September. I just received email thanking me for my October payment of 135! I called to cancel my service and was informed I would be charged $199.00 to cancel. **************** said that was in the contract I signed. I never received a copy of a contract and the "contract" I signed was on the salespersons phone pad. This company is underhanded in my opinion. They are very unprofessional. The service technician didn't even clean cobwebs as I was told he would. I had other service company for years before I moved and they were excellent. **************** is a joke. I would advise staying away from this company.

      A young man came by weeks ago selling bug, small insect, rodent treatments. He was in a huge hurry because he needed one more sale to meet his goal and go back to ****. He said someone would come and treat my home. A woman came by weeks ago and set several mouse traps in my basement and said she would be back in two weeks to retrieve the traps and set out traps in the yard. I reached out several times, calling, emailing etcthe service was absolutely below any standards of running a competent business. I finally received back some correspondence that in order to cancel my account I would need to call in. I called in and a gal said she would cancel my account but I needed to verify my address with a loyalty customer service representative. At first he was apologetic but once he realized I had it with this horrible service he became threatening. He told me I would have to pay $199 to get out of the contract and I said this service stinks. He said and I quotewe dont have anything in our contract regarding customer service and you signed it. He was really creepy and unprofessional. He was inappropriate with his tone. Fraudulent and unethical is how I would describe him. Almost cult like

      The sales representative came to my house in July offering service for a discount on the first and then another treatment in August. I was then notified they would be coming out in September. When I called, I was informed that I was in a contract for 24 months of service. The representative on the phone acknowledged that the sales representative had miss informed me of the 24 months of service required and that I would be responsible for a $199 termination fee. I agreed to pay the fee to stop the service. The representative also acknowledged receiving calls like this frequently every day, but I was still responsible for the termination fee.
