      Date: 05/10/2024 Location: Residential Property Door knocker did not respect nor care about no solicitation signs. I have 2 sings one seen from the street and another next to my door ****. This is not my first time requesting to stop coming to my door.

      On May 6 2024 between 5:30 and 6 pm my 25-year-old daughter witnessed an Aptive professional spraying the perimeter of my neighbor's home. Their home is exactly 1.5 feet off the property line. The garden is approx 4 feet wide and 30 feet long. I questioned the professional and he stated I should not eat the herbs planted in the garden as he was using a spray. He also stated he did not recognize the established mint, sage, thyme, and rare cola plants that were sprayed. Upon further investigation, there are droplets on all my plants. I am very concerned about the toxicity of this product as I have not been able to get an answer as to what exactly was sprayed on my plants. I also began to pull the plants out and got the chemical on my skin. I have since stopped pulling plants and would like this company to reimburse me for replanting my garden and replacing the soil.

      I am rejecting this response because: We have not reached an agreement yet as I have needed to schedule sevewral appraisals for local garden companies to provide estimates.  The first appraisal insisted insisted the soil also needs to be replaced.  I have since sought a second appraisal.  Aptive does not believe the soil needs to be replaced.  May we have more time to reach an agreement and seek a second opinion.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I need clarification on what the settlement is.  The company has stated they wish to resolve this issue.  I reached out to *************** and the email is not longer in service.  I tried calling aj at the number he provided ###-###-#### and I was told that no one at that number was named aj.  So, I cannot reach aj and no one else from the company has reached out to me.  How do I contact the company to reach a settlement.  How many times can we go back and forth?

      I am rejecting this response because: I was contacted on time by AJ who provided an email *************** and a phone number ###-###-####.  I have tried to return AJ's call and the person whom answers that phone tells me there is no AJ and that the number does not belong to aptive.  I have tried to phone the corporated headquarters and reach Hailylee (sorry I am not sure I spelled your name correctly) and I am unable to reach her.  I sent the documentation that AJ asked for and the email bounced back to me stating that email does not exist.  Why do I have to keep saying the same thing over and over.  What part of the phone number and the email do not work is not clear.  I gave my cell number and there have been no attempts to contact me beyond AJ's initial call.  I will provide all this documentation when I pursue this further.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I have received an email from Haylie W****** at aptive stating that the person whom was supposed to contact me went on maternity.  (There is no mention of AJ ????) So all the responses from aptive on this site stating  that aptive has reached out and are anxious to resolve this matter were FALSE.  According to the private email from Ms W****** someone from aptive should be reaching out to me.  I have yet to hear from them.

      Man on scooter, wearing an Aptiva shirt, rang my doorbell wanting to sell pest service. I said no thank you through my storm door. He gestured me to step outside so I could see his 'truck' parked at my neighbor's house - he claimed her name was *****. I do not have a neighbor named *****, nor was an Aptiva truck parked anywhere within eyesight.My doberman was snarling and trying to get at this man through the storm door - and the man did not even acknowledge my dog.I closed my door and he continued talking and gesturing on my porch as if I was still before him.This 'visit' has made me very uncomfortable.

      I tried to cancel the service as I don't need it anymore. I signed the agreement over a year ago on Apr 6. I have fulfill the agreement based on the agreement since it is 12 months terms and 4 visits. I requested over the phone few months ago to cancel the service and they created an appointment without my authorization. I exactly said in person that I do not want to renew. They refused to cancel my service and their customer service lied to me about it as I have fulfilled all the visit and term have passed.

      A representative showed up at my house and said that my neighbors had hired them and that they wanted to see if I would like their service as well. After talking and going over a few things, I signed up. Never was I told about any cancellation fee, and asked about cancelling and was told that I could at any time. After watching my ring camera footage I saw that they didnt actually spray much of anything and just walked the perimeter of my yard for 10 minutes and left. This was while I was at work. I called to cancel my account, but they didnt take my card off file and continued to try to setup appointments and charge me for services I didnt want. I called back again and finally got them to remove my card. At that time I was not told of any cancellation fee. Fast forward a week or two and I started getting emails about a $199 cancelation fee which I wasnt about to pay because it was never discussed. Im now getting calls from a creditor. Oh, and my neighbors were NOT clients either, so they lie to people to get their money. Worthless company and worthless service.

      An Aptiv representative came to solicit their pest control service in our neighborhood. They also said my neighbors had hired them and they wanted to see if I would like their service as well. This is more likely a lie tactic to get people to join. After talking to the sales rep, we went over a few things and I signed up. Never was I told about any cancellation fee, I was told that Id receive cancellation forms to review just in case. When I called 4/30 to cancel service because we still have gnats in doors and some pest outside; they refused to take my credit card on file off. They also added me to auto pay which I didnt give authorization to do. There are no initials but they put an X near that. As of 4/30; they do not have authorization to make any charges on my debit card! Our community has bad reviews about their ethics and facts of signing people up (which I wasnt aware of until after my phone call with them 4/30).

      I am rejecting this response because:
      They still have my credit card on file and they dont have a way for customers like myself to go on their website and delete my credit card information. Theyre still adamant I owe them a $199 canceling fee, that I was never made aware of during sign up. This isnt an amicable agreement. On May 7, 2024, they texted me to tell me they were going to send a service guy the next day. This is AFTER, I had already told them to cancel service. They insisted on having their guy come out next day and tried to sell me on a cheaper plan. I asked them what part of cancel my service are you not getting?  It wasnt until I threatened to have their personnel arrested on the spot if they showed up next day, May 8, that they finally said theyd cancel my service and I would not be getting anymore scheduled service appointments from them.

      A representative showed up at my house and said that my neighbors had hired them and that they wanted to see if I would like their service as well. The representative then proceeded to ask me not to trust the negative reviews about the company from a bunch of " ******** *************** talking and going over a few things, I signed up. I was informed that if I wasn't satisfied after 3 appointments I could cancel. Never was I told about any cancellation fee After watching my home security camera footage I saw that they did not actually spray all over my flower beds or the perimiter of my home. Their appointment times were always scheduled when i was not able to be home and when i tried rescheduling there was nothing available for weeks. I called to cancel my account and was then informed that since I hadn't been with them for 18 months I had to pay a cancellation fee of $199. After I explained to the representative that I was misled and it was deceptive sales practices she said that they would wave the cancellation fee. This was in November of 2023. Fast forward to last week ( late April 2024 ) My wife received a collection letter from ARM debt collections on behalf of Aptive. The first thing is my wife did not sign a contract with Aptive and her name was only on the account as the cardholder on file. I called today to try to get some resolution and spoke to a call center agent named " ******* " who informed me that I had 30 days to cancel and not 90, when I stated what had taken place on my previous conversation she decided to get loud and start talking over me " I can't help you, you have a fee" was repeated numerous times. She got mad and started laughing and then transferred me to a representative named *********. ********* said you only had 3 days to cancel and I asked her how having 3 different representatives from the same company give me 3 different dates is not willfully misleading customers? She said she had to forward my request to someone above her.

      When I signed the contract, I was told that it's going to be one initial service and 4 quarterly services. Four treatments / services are mentioned in the contract also. But they kept performing services every month and charging me every month. Due to credit card expiration, the last two months payment didn't go through. When I checked my account online to make the past due payment, I came to know that I am being charged every month. I cancelled the service, but they refused me to cancel the last two invoices which is unpaid though.

      This company is a mess! MLM style salesman with a trash product. Never saw much of a change in the insect problem, they text you a day before coming out and the messaging system is so frustrating. Now they want $199 dollars to cancel. Please help!

      I signed a contract with Aptive in May of 2020 for quarterly basic service. Without notice, they increased the service and billing rate from quarterly to bi-monthly. They also upgraded by plan to premium without approval. They eventually refunded $100 for the difference between basic and premium for this year, but not previous years. They refused to refund the difference between quarterly and bimonthly. Very dishonest practices.
