      Sales guy came to my door and offered me service on 5/13/24 for $49 with a bunch of addons and a guarantee that everything will work and we'll be happy, he mentioned I can cancel at any time if I'm not happy and he doesn't get paid unless I keep it for 6 months so he wouldn't be lying. Had to have the company come and reservice on 5/28/24 due to the spray having no effect on the pests and even making it worse because they knocked down wasp nests on my front porch and left them on the ground. After my reservice, which is supposed to be free, they charged me $150 which I luckily caught in my bank account and had them refund. I then told them I'd like to cancel as the sales rep told me I could, they refused to cancel unless I pay them $200 cancellation fee and said the only thing that matters is the contract and not a verbal agreement from their sales rep. *** sales guy had me sign on an ipad and zoomed in on the signing portion, I assume so I couldn't see what I was committing to. ************* their products don't work, and they lie to make a sale. I refuse to be charged a fee for cancelling a service that didn't work as intended.

      I live on a private road with 9 families. I was informed by 3 families this week that an Aptive representative was going door to door trying to solicit their pest control service by using my name stating that their neighbor, *****************, uses their company. I told the company in March that I was going to cancel their service and we agreed to put it on hold until July. At no time did I give them permission to use my private name and state that I use their service to the public. This has been disturbing to myself and my neighbors since we have multiple private drive/no trespassing signs up on our road as well as this is primarily a senior community. I want the company to stop using my private name as part of solicitation for their services. I do not know how many other adjacent neighborhoods they have used my name in to promote their business.

      We signed up for service after the salesman that came to our home gave us a sob story about needing folks to sign up so that he's able to provide for his family. He came to our door about 4 times in a day, finally my husband agreed and signed the contract. The first service that we received was great, tech came to the door before starting the service and after completing the service. It was the second service that was a nightmare, we received a message from the tech that they were coming out to do a service. He never knocked upon arrival, never went around back to complete the backyard he literally sent 5 minutes in front of the house and sprayed a few bushes and left. We text the number back once we were alerted that we had been charged for the full service but the tech never responded. We called him several times and he never answered. Finally he sent us a text back saying he completed the service sent us photos of the front of our house and claims he could not access the backyard. Mind you, we were home all day. This is a complete scam, not only was I charged for the full service which I didn't get I also had to pay the $199 cancellation fee. When I requested a refund for half of the service since that's all I received they said they were unable to. They pretty much took all of this money from me and I have nothing to show for it. TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!

      An Aptive salesperson showed up at my door at 6:30 PM while I was having dinner with my 20-month-old child. I told him no and that I needed to be with my child during dinner. Despite this, the salesperson wouldn't leave and misled me by claiming I could cancel at any time without any problem. Feeling pressured and rushed, I signed up for the service.After one service, I noticed no improvement; the spider nests and bugs were still present. More importantly, the technician who performed the service hit my brand new car while trying to park in front of my house. He claimed to have reported the incident to corporate and their insurance company, but no one has contacted me about fixing my car.Uncomfortable with Aptive Environmentals untrustworthy business practices, I attempted to cancel my service before the next scheduled visit. However, I was informed that there would be an early cancellation fee of $199, which I find very unreasonable. These experiences clearly indicate how untrustworthy Aptive Environmental is.

      A sales person came to my house today and ignored my no solicitation sign. I immediately told her I was not interested but she still jumped into her pitch. It is against the rules of soliciting permits to attempt to solicit at a home that has a no soliciting sign.

      The product does not work. Had 3 treatments with increase of bugs once my house was sprayed. No resolution in ants, in gnats, in mosquitos as promised. The spray they sprayed interiorally damaged white paint and required touch **** (Not even asking for this in refund.)

      Person off the street talked to my partner....my partner signed a contract unfortunately...the representative failed to properly establish an appt...instead just saying he was on the way!? We weren't home! Showing up at odd hours ..wanted to just cancel the contract, but the company then refused to help and charged us $170... unacceptable...we received no service

      The salesman promised us a price that we did not get. The email to our contract was sent to an incorrect address entered by the salesman. They sent their service guy out the next day before I received a copy of my contract to look over. We were also told that the mosquito service would not harm bees and butterflies. This was an outright lie. They are trying to force me to pay a $199 cancellation fee and I believe I should not have to pay due to these shady sales practices.

      05/27/2024 Aptive Environmental was in my neighborhood going door to door soliciting for business. I agreed to 4 treatments with the first one being $39 (plus tax) and the remaining $59 each (plus tax). They completed the first treatment on 05/27/2024 $41 was charged to my credit card then on 06/04/2024 they charged $62 more to my credit card. I reviewed the contract and it stated that it is $59 (plus tax) a month regardless if they apply a treatment to my home. The salesman completely misled me and lied to my face twice, never told me it was a monthly charge. He also did not let me read the contract and completed it with an electronic signature (I never touched the I-pad) I would have never agreed to $59 a month if they were not going to provide service monthly. On 06/06/2024 I contacted their customer service by email and requested my service be cancelled and to remove my credit card from auto pay. They responded by offering me a $20 and 5 months of not charging me. I declined their offer and on 06/07/2024 they emailed me back stating they cancelled my service and removed my credit card information. They also informed that I did not fulfill the requirements of the service contract and that I have to pay the initial discount reimbursement of $199. They did not charge my credit card yet, but it would not surprise if they do. This is a scam and do not feel I owe them $199 or the $62 they charged on 06/04/2024.

      6/6/24 @ 730-8ish *****************, ********, **. Received an unexpected knock at the door. All 4 dogs went ballistic barking. A sick child and my wife and I were in bed. Opened the door to an Aptive salesman. Told him he just disrupted the whole house, Im not interested and he can leave the property. He responded, no I think you are wrong, I didnt disrupt you. I asked him to leave 10+ times and that hes now trespassing. He wasnt moving and being combative, so I walked towards him and asked him to leave again. In which he said, dont touch me bro and asked if I was ok. I grab his Segway scooter thing to drag it off my property. He said, bro, that costs over a thousand dollars. I said, no, youve disrupted my house and are refusing to leave after being asked several times, so now Ill ****** off the property now. I told him I get up early in the morning for work and didnt appreciate having this issue with him right now. I have neighbors that work 3rd shift. To which he responded, this is a hard job, I work 10hr days and have kids. I asked, are we now comparing and arguing job schedules, lives and kids? I said, Im not arguing with a solicitor who came on my property, late in the evening and disrupted my whole family. Oh and I asked to leave the property an exorbitant amount of times, refused to leave, became combative and tried to antagonize an altercation. He told me to put up a sign, I said this is a no soliciting neighborhood and theres a sign at the front of the neighborhood. He just said, your wrong bro. Caused such a disruption that my wife got out of bed to come outside to see what was going on. I can describe the guy to a T, if Aptive, the neighborhood, HOA, city or court would like me to, down to the tattoo on his right under forearm. Im so tired of this disrespectful combative behavior and Im willing to escalate this situation. When it becomes aggressive and theres a feeling of an unsafe situation, its unacceptable behavior.
