      Absolute worst company that o have ever dealt with. No shows no time frames and no contact. You wait all day and nothing. Cant contact anyone to find out and you lose an entire day. They push their quality of service and disappear. Never will I ever use these amateurs again. They spray outside and disappear. Dont ask if you have issues. And just assume they know. **** for mosquitos and kill fruit trees and plants. You can not depend on the techs and it seems the company is run by auto response. this company is a joke. Cant imagine they will stay in service.

      On June 21, 2024 - throughout the day - two men from Aptive Environmental out of ******* rode hooverboards around my neighborhood. The neighborhood is the *****/********/******* areas off SR 302 NW. They trespassed onto areas of my property (off my driveway and onto private areas of my property) without permission (in fact I caught them because I just returned home). They ignored my neighbor's "no trespassing" and "no solicitations" signs. They took photos and video. They refused to produce identification or literature to the neighbors who asked for ID. They were rude when confronted and boldly unapologetic. Pictures were posted on the ************* Crime ************** page from people's ring cameras. When I (and others from my neighborhood) called the company directly the call center people were vague and also unwilling to confirm or deny whether the hooverboard "guys" worked for them.

      2 weeks ago I answered my door ****. There was a young man that was selling selling extermination contracts. The name of the company was Aptive.He was very charming and sold me on purchasing a contract with him, which is for 2 years that I finally realized with monthly payments so I agree, and I was to get the first treatment to my home one that day, so I had a time window of 4 to 8 PM needless to say, no one came to do the initial treatment so, I called and rescheduled for a new treatment to start the next day. So, the young man came and did my treatment. But they did not bring the treatment for the Rodents, which were outside boxes. The young man said he didn't know that I had that on my contract so, that he would pass it on so I called the company again. And asked for someone to come out the next day and to bring the boxes. Okay,the next tech try to respray areas and I stopped him. I said no I don't need that I just need the. Rodent treatment boxes outside my home. So he said he didn't have any so I did not get this service for the second time. So he apologize. So I then called customer service to complain and tell them that I did not want the service. I wanted to cancel the contract and today is the 20th. And they have now. Debited my account for $68. I am trying to get this resolved. And I do not want to continue with this company at this time because of the poor communication and customer service. They did not hold up the end of their contract. So I do not want to continue with their service.Now, if I want out of this contract I have to pay $199.

      A very pushy young man came to my door late last summer & long story short, I signed up with Aptive, basically because he wouldn't take no for an answer! I was told there were absolutely no contracts, I could cancel at any time, no problem. THIS IS A BLATANT LIE!!I was basically happy with the treatments I got last year, but they came & treated my area this month and all the bugs are still there! I really had to search to find a way to contact their offices (I could not contact my local office unfortunately) and they agreed to redo my application. They came & retreated my area, but whatever they are using this year is not effective & the dang bugs remain. Why am I paying them $180 to kill bugs & the bugs don't die? I called to cancel any future applications but was told I could not, I had to have had 6 applications before I could cancel, unless I paid them $199! I just paid them $180 to treat for bugs that I still have, I'm not giving this UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY any more money!!It's sad that this company authorizes their salesmen to prey on the elderly! They know how to talk circles around you until you break down!! Shame on this company for condoning this type of behavior, but I can see that it is a rampant practice as I read the many other complaints here on the BBB site! DO NOT DEAL WITH APTIVE!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!

      Two men came to the home offering a special to do our yard for pest prevention, my wife thought that was a good ideal. Never knowing that it was a door to door scam. They had my wife sign for the work they were going to do on the next day. They said they would e mail the documentation to her, NO HARD COPY at time of serves. Let we found out she sigh a contract for 18 months and a cost of over $1000.00. So I told my wife I would call and cancel the contract. Told by customer service, we could cancel BUT it will cost $199.00 a fee for cancelling the service. We paid them for there service and now they want payment for not. This is a door to door scam with no explanation by the salesman. That future work is $169.00 for each service. I want my contract CANCEL with out a payment to this company

      In 2022, I hired Aptive Environmental to do quarterly spraying of my property at *************************************************************************************. The contract with Aptive stated that the business will bill my account and provide regular treatment quarterly. Also, Aptive will conduct a re-spray, re-treatment if the regular schedule treatment is ineffective. The latter would be free of charge.The regular schedule treatment was done on April 26, 2024 and I was billed for the service. The aforementioned service was ineffective and required a re-spray. The technician re-sprayed my property on June 17, 2024. I recieved a bill from Aptive, charging me for the service done on June 17. I contacted Aptive's **************** to inform them that the charge was made in error. I began an email thread to document the interaction.After 2 email responses from Aptive, the Aptive representative informed me that the company decided to increase the frequency of billed charges and service. I informed Aptive that their decision to increase the service breached the contract, any change to the contract was made unilaterally by Aptive, I was not informed nor asked for my agreement to the change, and I was not allowed to include my input. In response, Aptive stated that I was the one who is, "Out of agreement" and I would be still be charged for the service on June 17, which should have been a treatment done free of charge because of the ineffective treatment steming from the April treatment. It is Aptive that did not abide by the agreed contract and made a fraudulent charge to my account.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The response from Aptive's paralegal is not accurate and quite insulting. Aptive claims that an email was sent in the beginning of 2023, regarding the increase of service from quarterly to a more frequent schedule. I had recieved an email from Aptive in 2023 and it was Aptive's office that schedule all future treatment of my property. The email did not demonstrate an increased treating of my property. The dates schedule and approved by myself were:

      July 28, 2023

      October 27, 2023

      The dates do not show an increased frequency of service. Therefore, the recent email from Aptive did not demonstrate the purported excuse of notifying me regarding the increase. The company's attempt at deflection further leads me to question this company's integrity.

      I signed a service contract on 5/16, I was told I have 3 days to cancel. I cancelled the contract on 5/17 via email. The sales representative called me later in the evening on 5/17 and said since they were already planning on being in the area to service other houses he would have mine treated on a trial basis for a discounted amount because he had no doubt that I would not want to move forward with the service after the initial treatment. He did explain to me that there was a possibility I would see more pests outside due to them flushing out. I was told this was a trial and I did not anticipate continuing the service due to not seeing any difference with the initial treatment. I called to cancel the service and was told I need to reach out to the sales representative that I initially talked to. Instead of cancelling my service they rescheduled it. I called back again and was told I could not cancel without paying a fee of $199 to cancel the contract. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was very empathetic to the situation but her only resolution was offering me to continue the service for a discounted rate of $179. The rate was not the issue, the results were not satisfactory. She then told me I could pause my contract and when I pay the cancellation fee they can cancel the plan. This company tries to bully you into using their service even if you are dissatisfied.

      I live in a red house number six my neighbor who has a contract with you lives in a White ***** number 12 you came and sprayed my entire house with chemicals. I have photos. I have a cat that I take outside every day to eat some grass and go to the bathroom, hes not feeling well. Did you spray all my flower beds ? My herb garden ? I now have ants in my house that I did not have before. everything in my house is organic. How could you make this mistake? Wouldnt you have a photo of the house youre supposed to do ? you take a photo before you leave? My neighbor informed me hopefully not too late . I am beyond upset

      Aptive salespeople continue to ignore city ordinances. Soliciting is not allowed after 8pm but Aptive bang on our doors at 9pm. They ignore no soliciting signs, and this company failed to obtain required business license.
