      Some young man came to my door and stayed for over 20 minutes trying to sell me this service. It started pretty high and ultimately he told me he could drop it down to under 50$, he included all these extras for free and he was honest and told me about the 200$ contract break fee. He used many sales tactics and ultimately wore me down. However 2 things have happened since: 1. after 2 months I was just charged double what I was paying at the start. He didnt say that would happen. And 2. the first service was kind of sketchy did inside and outside. A new kid showed up the second month and after filling up a 5 gallon backpack ran out of my house and I dont even know if he sprayed outside. I walked down 5 minutes later to see where he was and he was gone. The salesman assured me all of these services would happen and then the kid doesnt do his job and doesnt talk to me before he leaves. He did not spray inside my home even though I noted in the portal I still wanted to kitchen sprayed for ants. They say they can come out in between visits but thats an inconvenience if I have to be home for that. I would like to cancel without the penalty due to poor service and management.

      Door to door pest control salesperson used high pressure tactics on my wife. We had no pest issues. He told her she could easily cancel. There is a $199 cancellation fee which he did not disclose. The contract is on her phone, which makes it difficult to read and understand. We would like it cancelled for no cost.

      This company came out door knocking and I had thought that this service was a one time thing. I paid for their service and reluctantly scheduled another service date all while taking care of my baby single handed. They called me saying that I had signed a 12 month agreement and they were going to charge me whether I scheduled an appointment or not of $70 or $199 to cancel. Well I was just scammed the other week and lost all my money and I have a baby to take care of and now this company is forcing my hand to pay for something I dont want!! This is ********!

      I was working from home when someone was incessantly ringing my doorbell and pounding on my door. In total fear of an emergency I answered the door to find a young man in a baseball cap trying to sell me exterminating services. He claimed to be a local exterminator and know everybody in the neighborhood. He wasnt and didnt. I explained to him that I just had a service about a week and a half ago from a different company with a warranty so I was all set. I had several teleconferences to be on and I tried to get him to leave, however, he was standing in my door blocking me from shutting the door. I have all this on the security cameras. He was aggressively pushy and I was getting scared. I am a single woman alone in the *****. He kept lowering the price of the service but never showed me nor discussed the monthly fee. I repeatedly told him I did not need a service as I just had one and again he refused to leave. Needing to be on my teleconference I agreed to pay his $38 just so I wouldnt lose my job and could get on my work call. About 10 minutes later I received an email with a contract for yearly service at $119 a month - this was nothing I wanted!! Further monthly service for pest removal is RIDICULOUS and unnecessary! I called the company to cancel and the girl I spoke to then also tried to sell me services. I began my teleconference and about two minutes after that. The sales rep was back at my door incessantly pounding on the door and ringing the doorbell 15 times IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MEETING! I refused to answer and he knew I had meetings the rest of the afternoon HE KNEW I TOLD HIM 5 TIMES - and yet with complete lack of concern for anybody but himself proceeded to pound on my door, ring my doorbell and stay on my front porch for another 6 minutes. He then proceeded to call me about 5 times between 3 in the afternoon and 8 pm. Aptive - THIS IS DISGUSTING! Allow me to do this to you! And you can pay for it!!

      Aptive claimed it was forwarded to local management to reach out - AND NO ONE REACHED OUT! 
      THERE WAS NO settlement

      what are you - APTIVE talking about?!! This is COMPLETE NONSENSE!

      Your sales rep STALKED ME and wouldnt leave my property or me alone and this - THIS is your response??!!  You think not acknowledging any of this and pretending to forward it on and having no one contact me is RESOLVED?!!?

      I will complain to every possible oversight committee, the ** in the 2 states I live in and I will start a class action suit. You are the most deceitful company that is filled with fraud and lies and corruption Ive ever encountered. 

      When your sales people start stalking practices for the sake of a sale, and you them LIE ABOUT RESOLVING IT, we have a bigger issue than you realize.

      You Saying there wont be any more solicitation after Ive filed a police report is nonsensical. Really? You dont want to violate that? I am asking clearly, as I did in the email - IF YOUD LIKE I CAN ATTACH IT - You need to address it with your local branch! This kind of behavior is gross and wont be tolerated. NOW saying there wont be further solicitation is LUDICROUS! No kidding there wont be! SHAME ON YOU! Could you be more dismissive? I dont think so.  
      Let me do this to you!

      Have someone from the main office call me so I can tell them how their idiot sales kid refused to leave and called me incessantly after refusing to stop ringing my doorbell for hours   

      Are you kidding me?! Have his manager call me or so help me *** start a class action suit so deep itll waste your time for years! And - *** post the ring doorbell videos and cell phone records all over every social media outlet I can find

      On July 2, 2024 an Aptive sales representative ignored our No Soliciting sign clearly displayed next to our front door and began ringing our doorbell. I finally answered after several rings and politely said I was not interested and to please acknowledge our No Soliciting sign next time. He ignored me and continued into his sales pitch. Once again I said “not interested” but he continued. Frustrated, I finally had to yell at him to stop and slam the door in his face. Our neighborhood has clearly marked no soliciting signs, as well as the sign on our property next to the front door, yet this representative has chose to ignore it. After speaking with other neighbors, they too had the same experience. These are high pressure, aggressive sales tactics that I WILL NOT accept, especially in MY property. When I ask you to leave, leave. Next time the authorities will be involved.

      I am rejecting this response because: I do not have faith that the business has taken the complaint seriously. I would prefer to have assurances that this businesses local franchise will acknowledge the No Soliciting policy of the Woodcroft housing development, and No Soliciting signs clearly displayed by myself and those of my neighbors. Furthermore, the sales representative lied about doing business with neighbors in my neighborhood in an attempt to solicit my business. This is unacceptable and fraudulent. Simply saying that HQ has expressed concern with the local office does not make me believe this will not happen again.

      6/2023 to 5/2024. This company service person provided pest control service Ist time in June. Asked to sign contract on Ipad. Verbally said service is every 3months, 136/month. Will call and make appt, Treat Garage, Basement and out side. Did in June and September. Then stopped doing it. Came in Dec/2023 without calling and scheduling appt. Says came back again in **** ***** and May, without calling, when I ewas not home. Charging 150. I requested to call and spray inside in Jan/2024. Did not follow my instructions. But claims came and rxed out side. *********** manager called manager in **, he agreed to refund and stop services. But did not follow wit what he said. Thx for your consideration.

      The Aptive sales team disregarded my “No Solicitation” sign twice on the 4th of July and disrupted my entire family with their visits. The 2nd visit awoke my napping baby and forced me to expel their staff from my property pursuant to City of Los Angeles trespassing laws. Their flagrant disregard for LA trespassing laws and common decency needs to be noted with the BBB and reflected in a decreased overall score for Aptive. I can also provide video evidence upon request.

      Details:
      -June 8th sales rep from Aptive Pest control knocked on my door selling pest control services.
      - advised him wasn't really interesting since my toddler & I catch lightening bugs and afraid the treatment would reduce them as well as hurt my garden plants
      -sales rep advised he is writing a note in contract if lightening bugs reduced then I could cancel with no obligation
      - shows me the note before I sign
      - no paper copy of contract is emailed or given
      -text of treatment is provided
      - Month later lightening bugs are reduced.
      -email to cancel contract & different rep tells me that it is not in my contract at all & that I owe cancellation fees.
      -sign up for account online to view contract. It's not in there and not sure what the salesman showed me?
      - read all the reviews & realize they have bait & switch tactics as well as non transparent policies.
      - I expect to cancel with no penalty and them to honor their agreement the day I signed up. Also read through the notes with all my concerns on past treatments.
