      Aptive sales rep sold me the plan quoting wrong pricing for initial and ongoing treatment. He said the initial treatment is $110 and rest of the year cost will be $149 for 4-5 more treatments. The contract document shows a much higher price (longer tenure and number of treatments, also cost per treatment) and it was not clear on the day the rep made me sign the contract on tab and it was so late and dark when they knocked our door. The sales practices of this company are so unethical and illegal. I reached out to customer service and the sales rep but waiting for them to resolve. I was already charged twice and need a refund and would like to cancel the service immediately.

      We entered into a service contract for 2 years with APTIVE in early summer 2023. The service was fine in 2023. When it resumed for the season in 2024, the wheels fell off the bus! They purportedly came in June to service our home and did not service; they said it was because no one was home. We called to re-schedule and they insisted that someone had to be home for the service to happen. We put the service off until today, July 19th, 2024, because we were traveling. I was also told that I would owe an additional couple hundred dollars if I cancelled the contract because we are dissatisfied with the service. Ive had text and email reminders of todays service all week long. Imagine my surprise when I got a text of the charge and an email explaining what service was done while I was in my basement laundry room. No one rang the doorbell, our dog didnt react (as normal) to a vehicle in the driveway, and I can find NO EVIDENCE of service being done. Imagine my surprise again when I called to complain and was told that they would re-schedule another date to re-do the service without any additional charge for next Friday, July 26th! Its as if they knew they were caught and just set it up again. I could hardly understand the customer service representative and had to ask him to speak more slowly. I want OUT of this contract without penalty. Weve been inconvenienced enough already.

      On June 24th my son and I were late leaving for an appointment when a guy rolled up to sell pest control service. He was VERY aggressive would not take no for an answer after about 10 NO s I got in my truck to leave he proceeds KNOCKING on my truck window and says he will drop the fee from ****** to ***** for first application then ONE more application in 3 months for *****. Absolutely no mention of me being charged ****** every month for 12 months! I CANNOT afford that. I just wanted him to leave me alone so I agreed to TWO applications. Since then they have bombarded me with this service and honestly I don't see much of a difference. I told them three times now I was under the impression I signed up for two appts. Today I wake up to my bank account being withdrawn for the money they took out. I am beyond livid.

      Aptive environmental bait and switched me. The service promised by the salesman did not work. We still have bugs. the ants never died. After 8wks I called to cancel and told I had to pay $199 to end contract. I then said I will not pay for last application until situation is resolved. Then they threatened me with going to collections. She then they said can spray another product. I'm assuming a better product. I then said I thought I was getting the best product product. I was lied to by the salesman and offered a better product, BAIT AND SWITCH. I was threatened. I was told they can reapply as many times as needed. They tried for 8wks +-. They didn't provide service promised. Satisfaction was not not met. All I wanted was to cancel contract and ended up in a BAIT AND SWITCH AND THREATENED WITH COLLECTIONS. I told them again, I wasn't paying for last application until situation resolved. Also, we were charged full price when only one full application done. 3 others were only frontyard. I honestly cannot pay a company who uses BAIT AND SWITCH, THREATENS ME, TRYING TO MAKE ME PAY FOR UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE, WILL NOT CANCEL MY CONTRACT WITHOUT PAYING $199. I CANNOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WHEN THEY PROMISE AND DONT DELIVER. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE THEM THAT THEIR PRODUCT IS PET FRIENDLY NOW? I WAS TOLD THEIR BEST AND IT WASN'T. WE STILL HAVE TONS OF BUGS. They supposedly recorded the entire conversation. Everything they said, threats, sold me promise, is completely unfair and illegal in two issues. Bait and switch and threatening me with collections. Again, they said everything was recorded. I told them not to charge me until situation was resolved and while on the phone, they took the money. They are very dishonest. All I want is my contract canceled without $199 in fees. I'm a little guy trying to pay bills. They're a big company selling a lie and will threaten customers.       I had an Aptive ******************** contract at my previous address that I was renting. Due to my lease, I moved to another address. My new address is also a rental and the landlord does not allow me to have pest control service. I provided Aptive with a copy of my lease agreement (at their request) and they agreed to cancel my service due to these facts. I then received a call from Aptive stating that I owe an early termination fee. I was not told about this termination fee and don't believe this to be fair practice. I would like Aptive to waive this fee since I have no control over what is allowed and what isn't allowed for service at my new address.

      I had a door to door pest control salesperson use high pressure tactics on me. I have terrible vision (age 55) and the salesman had me sign the agreement on his small electronic device. I was told it was EASY to cancel if I changed my mind. They set up a portal to use and there is NO WAY to cancel anything, or contact anyone except by email. They do not respond to my emails. I was also told they will come on the weekends, and yet they have NO AVAILABILITY on the weekends because they are not open. They told me service was every 3 months at $169 and yet they have come every single month since April and charge me the $169 every time. Now I finally reached someone but there is a $199 cancellation fee which the salesman NEVER told me. The contract was on sent to my phone, which is to difficult to read and understand. I would like it canceled at zero cost since they have already received close to $300 for nothing.

      Hello Im ******* earlier this summer I was experiencing a fly infestation I was kill up to 10 flies a day So I called Adtive Environmental which I had googled. So that next day they came out with payment of 100 dollars they set up 4 sticky boxes it a month or so theyve collected 1 fly so Id like to cancel the service but Im being threatened with a very large bill for not wanting to continue in total of 300 dollars with the 100 Ive already paid.

      A door-to-door salesperson came to my door offering pest control services in my neighborhood. I initially said I wasn't interested. The salesperson continued to offer incentives for me to try the services and was working off of a paper breakdown of services and costs. I told him I would never sign up for anything that had a cancellation penalty. I even wrote it on his notes that he initially had me sign in explaining services. I should have taken a picture of it. The salesperson said if there was a problem to contact customer service and they would do the right thing. I told him I had to think about it. He left and then called me back a bit later and said several of my neighbors had signed up and they could treat the property the next day if I wanted to try them out. I agreed to that. He came back with his iPad and said there would be a contract for the services of which again I said I don't do contracts for services such as pest control because of cancellation fees. He again said there was a contract and cancellation fee but if the services didn't work, call customer service and they would cancel the services and not charge a fee. The pest treatments do not work! I called to cancel and got the run around from customer service. They wanted to charge the $199 cancellation fee that they said I acknowledged on the iPad. The salesperson pushed the buttons and I only signed where he told me to on the iPad. Shame on me for not reading everything. I know better. I desire a cancellation of the contract. We have not had a reduction in insects. They are not fulfilling their contract and are billing 169 a month for services that don't work. After arguing with them and speaking with a supervisor they agreed to reduce the bill for the final three treatments to 119 per treatment at 60-day intervals for me to avoid the cancellation fee of $199. It's a sham and a scam. Buyer beware of this company!

      This company was supposed to provide pest control, I have giving them 12 months and I have seen no results some of the problems have gotten worse: Wasps, ants, slugs, or has little to no improvement on some pests: Rodents, Fleas, Ticks, Spiders, Flies, Pantry Pests. I tried to cancel with them, was told I could not do that for another year and customer service would not transfer me to a manager. I had to have some one else come and spray for fleas and ticks. I have also had to spray for wasps and ants myself multiple times. I do not want to keep paying them money when they have not fulfilled their end of the contract to provided what they said they would.

      ******* from Aptive Environmental came to our house on a sales call. We have a very clearly posted no soliciting sign right next to our doorbell. ******* stated I did see your sign but I'm here because I'm in the neighborhood. This is clear disregard for our "No Soliciting" sign. My wife indicated that she doesn't make the decisions and she would have to speak to her husband first. He asked when the husband would be back, my wife indicated it would be a few days. ******* provided contact info and left the premises. ******* both acknowledged the presence of the no soliciting sign as well as the fact that the decision maker wouldn't be home for a few days. 4.5 hours later ******* came back and once again rang the doorbell, ignoring the no soliciting sign a second time. We did not answer but we have it all saved on our security cameras. The disregard for our wishes displayed by this representative of Aptive Environmenatl is quite upsetting. We would like the business to stop contacting us and to start respecting our wishes to not have solicitors approach our house.
