      Sales reps pound on door like police if you don't answer the keep pounding, I have a no soliciting signs all over, they don't stop, last person came pounding at 830pm home alone with my children, these people are going to meet the wrong house one day, they are rude. Harrase you, and don't take no for an answer, stay off my property!!!!

      The Aptive technician didn't perform any service and was charged $135. After the end of the day, a text was sent to say that they didn't need service because the appointment time was 1-2 p.m., and no one showed up until 5:49 p.m., so they were charged without a service.

      April/May, 2024: strong willed individual came to door in the neighborhood providing service to neighbors. Promised a lower rate (under $70) for service than what we were currently paying quarterly to a different provider. Turns out that his rate was a one time rate (specifically not told to me as such)and that the service was monthly and not quarterly. They attempted to charge us $169.00 monthly! Because there had been a fraudulent charge on our credit card given to Aptive, the issuing bank cancelled the card so Aptive was unable to process the inflated charges. They are now attempting to collect on the high amount. I have authorized two payments of $69.00 to cover the two months of service provided but have also stated they are to cancel any future service due to their deceptive practices.

      We had a very aggressive salesman come to the house to sell a pest control service. We were intrigued with all of the extras that we would receive by using this company. He made all these promises of what we would expect from the service. We were told that it was a one-time deal sign up for a much lower rate of $189 per treatment and we should expect treatments every 6-8 weeks.We were told we could cancel at any time if we were unhappy with the service. From the very first treatment we have had to have them come back out because of issues with spiders and bugs. We never had these problems before with our other company. We just wanted to try something different because of the extras we were told we would get. Our house is brand new, less than 2 years old. After they sprayed the second treatment, they had to come back out a week later to respray because of spiders and the spiders we were seeing were alive. Giving them one more chance. We literally had them out here three times in 3 weeks to respray because of bugs and spiders in the house. I asked if this would cause any damage to my hardwood floors or would leave any residue. I was told that it would not, however, around the edge of my entire hardwood floors they are very rough where this had been sprayed. It also left residue on the baseboards as well as the windows and window *****. I called the company to register a complaint. Was told I would receive a call back from a manager within 2 days. 7 days later I'm calling again and was told that I would have to pay $199 to get out of this contract. And they still wanted to spray the house again and charge me and it has been less than one month since the last full treatment. ( Where I received 3 treatments in 3 weeks) Why on earth if the product is supposed to work would I have a total of 5 treatments in 6 weeks? It is absolutely ridiculous to be stuck in a contract when the service isn't there.

      Someone came soliciting on July 2nd, 2024 that they are running a promotion and instead of $199 we only pay $50 they will do the pest control treatment with no further charges. But, that is not true as it involves a 12 month contract of $99 each which was not mentioned. I would not have signed up for the service if they had mentioned that it involves a monthly contract. The contract was on tablet and they did not even show or say anything about the subscription. I ended up signing. But, today August 7th, I ended up cancelling the service after I noted $99 charge on my credit card and they charged me additional $199 to cancel. They are selling service without full disclosure of the contract. Very deceptive.I have also filed a complaint with MI ************************* as well.

      I signed on with Aptive Environment last summer. I was satisfied with what they did, but my last service was March. I have phoned, emailed to no avail. I get responses of well schedule another time later or next month. It is now August & got a change to September. Not sure how they are in business with service that is not given. Complained again & tired of dealing with them. THEY broke the contract & I am done with them. There should not be any more charges from them!

      On Monday, August 5th, 2024 a salesman arrived at my door offering pest control services. I told him that I had a wasp nest in my back yard that needed dealing with and he set me up under Aptive's contract to have someone come out the following day to spray for bugs and remove the wasp nest. On Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 the appointment was cancelled remotely without my being directly informed (I checked on the customer portal to discover this) and a few hours later the same salesman showed up to offer to reschedule for the following day. I accepted. Today, Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 I received a text at 1:54PM (almost two hours past the noon appointment time) informing me that "Nikko" with Aptive was 15 minutes away to begin my service. I went upstairs to keep an eye on things because I wanted to speak to the technician about the wasp nest, but no one ever showed up. At 2:28PM, while I was upstairs waiting for someone to show up, I received an email declaring that my automatic payment of $150.00 had been processed for the service. No one ever showed up, I still have wasps, and when I called to complain to Aptive I was told that there was "a miscommunication" and that while service "had been performed" the wasp nest had not been communicated to their technician; I was given the option to make ANOTHER appointment and have another technician come out to deal with the wasps. Seeing as how the first technician never showed up, I told customer service that I wanted to terminate my contract with them, a request which they did eventually honor (after trying repeatedly to get me to agree to a cheaper contract).

      I was happy with Aptive service the first two months. Since then, I have had to call at least 8 times (in 10 months) because service wasn't what it was suppose to be, including a couple of times where they didn't even do the service. Called the week of May 20th to cancel service completely, this call was not logged in their system from the call center. Sent an email via customerservice on May 25th, this was not acknowledged. They have claimed to come out two more times (charging me for both) where services were not performed. I called to cancel my service and fight the two services they have me in claims for, and found out that many conversations and notes are missing from my account. They want to charge me an additional $199 claiming I'm still in contract and that it was 2 years, not the **************************************************** up for the service.

      Im submitting complaint for my elderly 90 year old mother. June 11, 2024, my mother agreed for outside spraying for one time service since the Aptive Environmental salesperson said theyre in the neighborhood. Cost $89.00 paid by credit card. Salesperson signed her up for Pro level service which she did not agree to. Salesperson did not leave contract and my mother did not sign anything. Called Aptive to send contract and it shows electronic initials and signature which my mother never signed. Salesperson also set up an email address and password for her for which Im not sure why. This all seems shady and that the salesperson took advantage of my elderly mother. She called the local office in ***************** to cancel service. Was told cancellation cost of $199. Salesperson never mentioned cancellation fee. Local office said they will cancel tech from showing up but more than once a tech showed up, my mother went outside to stop them from spraying. Tech verified with local office of cancellation and left. She does not want a tech to spray and then bill for service. My mother does not have the funds for this contract and needs to be sure this contract is cancelled, without the $199 cancellation fee. I would hate to think Aptive preys on the elderly but Ive checked reviews and other BBB complaints and see there are many folks dealing with the same shady business dealings. Please advise.       Was told that I can move the account to anywhere in the **. Since moved from ** to **, was told have to close account and reopen in **, hence have to pay the cancellation fee of 199. This is a scam, since the verbal agreement with the seller is to be able to move to about of state
