      This is the biggest scam ever I just had a death in a family and I called on the day that the rep told me to call and I was told that they are closed. Call back on the next day called back on the next day and they told me that being a day later, I cant cancel, this is absolutely ridiculous. I was on a phone call with our sales rep for over an hour and she said she was going to cancel it but never cancel it. These people are liars. Its this is the biggest scam ever theyre telling me that I cant cancel something and Im going through a lot of stress dealing with them , this is ridiculous. That is damaging my house because the door lock doesnt work. I told them I will ship you your product. This is the worst product ever and I am very unsatisfied.

      They are in simple words underhanded and plain lie to you . Very misleading. Will definitely follow up with complaints on these people in any and every Avenue available.

      Steer away from this company. I bought a home that already had a Vivint system, but a door-to-door salesman sold me on new equipment that I could return within a trial period for a full refund. The only reason I spoke with him to begin with was because I needed to get into the equipment that came with the house as it was locked by the previous seller (home was an estate, so the account wasn't turned over in the sale). I returned the equipment on 4/20/24 and here I am over 2 months later on 6/28/24 with money still owed by Vivint to Citizens Pay. They have made 2 partial payments and I am just waiting on them to make the third and final payment of $401. If I pay it, I am out $401 that I will never see again because Vivint is not going to refund me. If I don't pay it, it's going to continue impacting my credit score. Every time I call (multiple times a week) they tell me the same thing - it's at the top of the priority list and will be paid as soon as possible. I have a feeling I'm just going to have to shell out $401 so my credit isn't tanked by this company. I wish I had never agreed to the new equipment and trial period in the first place and desperately wish I had checked the BBB rating prior to getting into this mess. STAY AWAY!

      I called to cancel, they told me I had to send an email statement. I sent an email statement. They confirmed they received the email statement. They continued to charge me three more payments. I called, they confirmed I cancelled but they kept charging me. I was on hold over ************************************************************************** anyway. Best part is that I sold the home three months ago. Insane. This company should be held accountable for theft when offering home security.

      DO NOT BUY! The salesperson offers a professional installation which was nothing close to the truth. Salesperson was very pursusave and pushy. I ended up buying based off salespersons promises. The installers arrived very quickly after I purchased..which I appreciated. However, the installation was extremely shoddy! Wires were left dangling, cameras were not put in the locations requested and when asked to correct, the installer refused to relocate any cameras. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a home security system to look elsewhere. This company is a scam.

      I have a big No Trespassing sign on door and no soliciting on window and their sales people knock on door several times a week. I'd like them to quit coming to my house I have told them not interested several times. This is terrible business practice.

      I will never do business with Vivint again! I was promised loan forgiveness on my old equipment if I upgraded to new equipment from a sales rep going door to door in my neighborhood by the name of ****** in *************, **. I have been nice about it and called their loyalty program to speak with someone and neither ****** or his manager have responded. They are both dodging me now the Vivint's loyalty program customer service is basically doing the same by extending wait times and trying to draw out me canceling service with them in general I know I won't ever do business with them!!! Ever again or recommend it to family or friends I'll buy equipment like ring or euify out right and pay for a monthly service VIVINT ARE SCAM ARTIST!! THEY CAN HAVE ALL THEIR SH*T BACK!!!! I"M DONE!!

      My installation was terrible, wires showing, running up the walls, end up canceling the service before promotion period, service was cut off before equipment was removed, so Im now with no alarm system on my home , given 2 dates to remove equipment and both were canceled the day before the appointment, now have a third date set to remove and replace my equipment back, over 20 calls made to customer service, the only thing theyre trying to do was to lower my monitoring fee, not to make me whole before the the financing for the equipment becomes due.

      I wish I would have read these comments before agreeing to the system. The sales rep gave me a bunch of "discounts" and the first month free. Including a discount for replacing an ADT system, which I never had. Throwing anything he can at the bill to make the monthly payments lower. Tells me there is a 30-day trial period (as I understood it) but never mentioned the cancelation letter that was in my email with a trial period ending in 5 days (from 6/12 - midnight 6/17). When I call Vivint to cancel the system they tell me it's a 3-day trial period and I am basically stuck in the contract. My options are to downgrade my system, pay off the equipment first then cancel the service or pay for the service to get out of the contract (I didn't really understand the last option). Either way it's over a thousand dollars they want for something I don't want or need. Just pro rate me for the 2 weeks I tried it and get me out of the contract.

      This company is so shady they put thru 3 unauthorized payments through my bank account which ******** my account and said they had every right to so when I spoke to their customer service representative cause I was past due.My account was not on auto pay they had stored my debit card and used it to take the money not to mention I have to cover 3 bank overdraft charges at $34.00 dollars a pop. They wouldn't listen to what I had to say and they kept transferring me to different departments each time. We have been with them for over 3 years it's sad that companies don't ?? listen to their customers but will do anything to s**** the consumer. Don't do business with these guys their customer service representative are rude interrupt you and could careless about trying to help they just want to keep passing you on to different departments and make you confirm your information over and over. We will be looking for a different security company. I'm sure ****** will not be worried about losing another customer as long as they can go into people's accounts and draw money out of their account when they're hurting financially due to family member with cancer.
