      Read the fine print very carefully. It is really difficult to get technical support to come to tour home and repair the defective system that has been installed for only 10 months. When you finally get someone (in a chat) they require you to do with them the same troubleshooting posted in their website and App, which you have already tried several times. If you dont, they want to charge you $99 to just come out and take a look. I regret choosing them, dont fall for it.

      I will be paying $6000 for a security system that I think is truly a highway robbery. I regret giving up on my security company to go back to this *********** Ive been dealing with damages on my home with a tech who caused damages. I had to get some siding repaired along with trying to get techs to come out which was a real challenge. They have the nerve to try and resend the tech who originally set up my equipment. I come to you saying pls rethink of paying the high amount and having to deal with the techs and customer service. There main thing they like to say is we can give you credit for your frustration. You wont to really help me by coming to remove this **** than I wont have to deal with Vivint BS any further. Biggest mistake removing ADT equipment for this mess of events.

      Buyer beware! Vinvint Security Monitoring Service is a very deceptive company. They promise free equipment and installation, then open an account charging victims for the equipment they promised for free. This is a classical bait-and-switch tactic to complete the sale. Upon the sale, they immediately install the equipment, not allowing the buyer time to consider the sale or cancel. In my incident, they did not leave any written documentation of the sale. When you contact customer service to complain, they leave you on long holds or promise to call back or send emails, but don't follow through. These people are crooks and do not purchase anything from them.

      To whom it may concern,I am writing you this letter in regards to the treatment we have been receiving from the company called Vivint located in ****. We have tried to cancel their service since the last week of April 2025 they say it takes 30 days to cancel after 30 days. They said we had to write a letter of cancellation. They have charged us $283 since April we sent them a letter which was mailed out September 8. They received the letter on ******************************************* They said we have to wait another 30 days. They wont cancel and want more money. We dont have any Vivint equipment in our house. Everything was paid for in 2017. They are taking advantage of us. By the way we are senior citizens. I am a 80-year-old man and a disabled veteran and my wife is a 75 year-old heart patient can you please help us and all the other people who got ripped off also I think we should be refunded our $283 that they took.

      If I could only leave 0 stars I would. I had a lift changing experience occur which cost me to have to sell my house. I no longer own a home and have nowhere to move the system to. I had to install the 24/7 recording system while I was selling the house because someone had vandalized my home and nothing was caught on the security system. Their equipment was clearly not working properly. When I installed the 24/7 recording I was asked to sign a service invoice stating that the equipment had been installed. That was all that I was told it was for. Theyre not trying to state that the same invoice required a 3 year contract extension which would have never been agreed to knowing that I was no longer going to own a home. Ive been trying to cancel my service since May of 2025 and they will not cancel it. They said I have to pay them over $2000 to cancel the service or transfer it to my new home. I have begged and pleaded with them to cancel the service because I dont have a home or anywhere to transfer it to. I no longer own the house that the equipment is installed at, but they refuse to cancel saying that I have to pay them for the next 3 years for a service I can not and will not be able to use. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I just want to cancel all equipment is paid off I just need them to stop the service and they wont do it.

      Would not let us cancel when we moved, charged us for 3 mths after and we had to call every month, we hope not to get charged next month, rude customer service, kept on the phone for 20 min trying to cancel this last time

      they auto bill on your free system (that quit working long ago and they wanted to charge to replace) - I called to cancel and they charged me another fee to cancel. So a "free" service auto billed me and charged a cancel fee - the company and ****

      Dishonest and deceptive Billing practices. I called to cancel my service many months ago and was told that there was a two month deferral where I would be billed two more months and then the service would be canceled. Billing stopped. About a month ago I saw another charge on my credit card. I called the company and they told me that I was on a month-to-month payment for monitoring service. Mind you I have moved out of the residence and no longer live there and the cameras are with me. The company refuses to cancel my payments until I send in a written notice of cancellation. They refuse to refund the two months saying that they are valid charges, even though. I called the company in April to have the service canceled. I will never use this company again. I have wasted hours of my life, trying to manage the account alone. They are worse than ********

      They **** we paid off the equipment and are paying their monthly service charge now. One of the cameras doesn't work. The sensor 2 of our the doors have fallen off or fallen into the door. They keep telling us they will come out. And fix it, but we have yet to see that happen. The customer service ***** and the equipment is garbage.

      I originally signed up for the service on 9/3/25, and was informed explicitly that I had a 3 day period to cancel at no cost, and 30 days to try the system and remove it with only paying for a month of the service by the soliciting sales person. I reach out to my sales person on September 5th to initiate the cancellation with no response, so I reach to the companies support where the person who I was speaking to was attempting to force me into retention through multiple discounts of which I had no interest as I personally would prefer to have the equipment removed and install my own self contained/monitored system with an NVR. He eventually says he will send me the information to start the cancellation process in my email. I never received said email, its not in spam, trash, any other hidden folder, nothing. I had some damage occur from a roof leak in my home and I realized I still never received any correspondence. I reached out multiple times and my call just kept getting dropped. Finally was able to get in touch with someone after 4 hours and was informed that they would honor that 3 day period since I initiated the cancellation then. I once again get no correspondence after sending in the notice to cancel. Today, the 24th, I receive an email stating the cancellation was not completed. And now everyone there is claiming I opened the email on the 6th, even though I never received it and they are informing me that Im unable to cancel my account. I was told I could cancel at any point through my service and would just have to return the equipment and of course would have to pay for the service up until that point. Ive wasted hours on the phone with these people and all I get is the runaround and opposing information. Avoid Vivint at all costs. Terrible customer service, terrible product, terrible business practices and sales tactics. These people should be ashamed of themselves
