      ***** ***** with Vivint came to our house and asked to come in as we were getting our young children to bed. He asked to come back and my husband agreed, giving him a time to come back after the kids were in bed. He returns around 830 PM and unfortunately the children were still up so my husband spoke with him alone. ***** won't give pricing or any further information and tells my husband he will have to return when I am available to be part of the conversation. He was riding a segway/****** board thing and tells my husband it died and asked if he could leave it here since he will be back tomorrow to talk to both of us. My husband agreed and brought it into the house (it was heavy and he didn't feel like carrying it to the backyard). Fast forward a couple of hours and I hear the latch on our gate to the backyard. I jump up and open our backdoor and here comes ***** walking up to our back door. He says, "oh sorry I didn't want to wake you, I was just coming back for my segway". I turn to my husband who was now by the front door and setting the segway on the porch. ***** looked caught off guard and confused when I told him my husband was setting in on our porch. Needless to say, I have two babies and the entire thing had my spidey senses going off the chain. The fact that he returned the same night when he said he'd be back tomorrow and then proceeded to let himself unto our property was not okay. I called the police and the dispatcher told me that someone else down the road had reported the same incident. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I say, not today satin. Not today. 10000/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

      This is the worst experience with a security company. The salesman who came by our home assumed my husband and I were 65 years old. Told us we had 30 days to try out the system. Within a week and a half we called to cancel the service. I called and the lady said they would have to get in touch with that salesman. We all tried getting a hold of him. Come to find out he was out of *******. He never returned any calls or text. They still want us to pay for the system and service. We haven't used it since Sept. of 2024. Still call everyday about the bill. Not getting a ***** from us. Took the system down a long time ago ourselves. But can't get anyone to pick it up. Never trust this company or their sales *****

      DO NOT TRUST VIVINT MISLEADING SALES TACTICS & HIDDEN FEES I regret ever signing up with Vivint. I was told by a sales representative that I would be paying $2,300 for the equipmentonly to be hit with a charge of $3,800 after everything was installed. The salesperson verbally promised one thing, but the reality was completely different.They had me sign the agreement quickly on a phone after the installation, giving me no real opportunity to review or understand the contract. I trusted what I was told and didnt realize I was locking myself into a five-year contract with hidden obligations.What they dont tell you upfront is that even if you pay off your equipment and want to cancel the service, youre still required to pay 2.5 years worth of monthly service fees just to terminate early. Thats thousands of dollars even if you no longer use or want their services.This company is extremely deceptive. They dont explain fees clearly, they pressure you into signing without transparency, and their cancellation policy is a trap. I would never recommend Vivint to anyone. It feels like a scam, and I hope this review saves someone else from making the same mistake.

      I have subscribed to Vivint since 2019, but the equipment started messing up. They wanted to charge me more money for newer equipment, stating that the monthly fee was just for emergency services . When I went to cancel the emergency service, they said my equipment would not be useable as a subscription is required for it to work. I went to cancel the service and was told I would have to pay an additional month to give them time to contact the police, fire department, etc., and cancel with them. Another month passed your current billing month.

      I have been with Vivint for 5 years and the refuse to let me cancel. I keep getting sent to a different person and it continues on and on until I have no choice but to hang up. I WANT TO CANCEL.

      Vivint's security is so complete, even you can't get in your house! The app frequently locks me out of my own house, leaving me unable to get in other than to trip the alarm, run to the panel and disarm from there, crossing my fingers and toes and anything else that I get there in time that the police don't show up. It's happened before, and I suspect it will happen again. Their customer service is nearly useless. It's a bad, bad, bad system. I would love to recommend a better one, but unfortunately I am completely sunk into the cost of this nightmare. It's too late for me, but save yourself, fellow homeowner! Run far from Vivint!

      Absolutely terrible. Didn't work the lastv2 years I had it. Took me over 2 months to cancel services because of their procedures. You can't simply cancel they keep you on the phone for a hour. Trying to get you to transfer or whatever. They are terrible.

      A technician came to put up a new panel put up my used panel and Vivi wont come back out to get my system up and running. My system been down for two weeks and they ignoring me Ive been with them for a long time.

      I wish there was an option for a negative star. By first the worst experience. We just got our system installed and it's not working properly. Troubleshooting with 4 reps couldn't resolve so we schedule an appointment for a service technician. Well, no one has shown up and it's the 4th attempt and we are still waiting.STAY AWAY, DON'T BELIEVE THE *****

      DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VIVINT. They installed faulty equipment and won't come out to "look at it" unless I pay $200 for the tech visit. The cameras don't work 50% of the time. The smart hub freezes constantly. The doorbell microphone no longer picks up audio. The dvr system is down when the cameras are working. I get false alarms from the glass sensors, water sensors, and door sensors all the time. The smart home dismisses the alarms before I can do anything either. Their customer support is atrocious. Back and forth and no desire to actually fix issues. And the salesmen are super pushy and lie. I have had the salesmen come through and "check" how I'm doing. When I tell them the issues I'm having they swear they'll send someone out right away, but no one ever comes out. And I told them I didn't want the sign in my yard but every time they come through they try to put the sign in my yard. Worst security company I have ever dealt with! Even worse than Xfinity.
