      Our system has been messed up for several months now. We cant seem to get a tech to come out . Weve made 3 different appointments and he never shows up . He then lies and says that I canceled the appt. Weve been stood up all 3 times. Each time we call some foreigner who I can barely understand instructs me to trouble shoot the system. Ive done this numerous times. This company is terrible. Steer clear.

      Door-to-door walking salesperson use unethical tactics and would not take no for an answer. The products might be good, but they wheel and deal. "Don't tell the neighbors about this." Blatantly lied about who was receiving service and what other neighbors had for service. One neighbor said they would not leave. After not being interested one evening, they showed up the next morning.

      Probably about June or July of 22, Vivint came knocking on my door and unfortunately I answered it. The Vivint sales *** was extremely persistent, that kid could of sold a double bed to the **** and an Anvil to a drowning Man, after his long sales pitch I explained to him that I recently had been diagnosed with tongue cancer and that I wasnt really sure what my long term prospects were in respect to signing up for any type of long term contract with Vivint that I would be committed too, being very unsure how much longer I had. Well needless to say he sold me a four camera system that hasnt worked properly from the start, two of the cameras completely stopped working in August of 22 and a Vivint ***air Tech came to diagnose the system in Sept or October of 22 and said my system was installed improperly and that the receiver for the garage camera was modified as well as my patio camera to extend the signal far enough out to reach the control panel the Tech ***laced the receivers with two new ones and those cameras have never been able to reach the panel and show any images. The Tech told me that I needed to hire an electrician to run ground wires to my receptacles because the system uses the ground wires as antennas to reach long distances for the signal to travel, why wasnt I told my house built in the 1950s wasnt adequate for the alarm system. I have been paying for a faulty security system that doesnt even work for the last two years, is not right. Please come and take your equipment back and quit robbing me, . My wife and I also received a call from Vivint saying the smoke alarm was activated and should they have the fire department respond just as we were getting our dinner served at a restaurant we said yes because our two dogs were in the house, we boxed our food and raced home worried to death about our two dogs and our home only to find out is was a false alarm and to thank the fire department for coming, that was a terrible experience.       Misinformation was given and we were charged an outrageous amount of money. We were told we would pay a small monthly fee ($43.46) for all equipment and services and later were hit with an email telling us we had a credit card with $4,000 on it to pay back over time. The sales person zoomed in on the screen information so we did not see the $4,000 amount and then took the iPad back to scroll down to the signature area then asked us to sign. Luckily we were in the 3 day period where we could get out or else we would have been trapped in the scheme. On top of that when the system was installed they did not put cameras where we asked. They were randomly drilled into our home creating permanent holes. Our cameras were not centered on our home like we asked, they drilled a 2nd hole into our home for the doorbell. They also had wires running randomly down our walls to plug in sources that they also unplugged other things to plug in the system. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!

      Terrible customer service. I called to activate the security system in my rental because the owner had already installed it. I canceled it within two weeks, and their employee, xxxxxxxxx, said I owed over $600 to terminate my subscription. I pulled up an email that read "Notice of Termination," which indicated I had 90 days of the start date to cancel altogether. They asked for an email, so I emailed it to him. He suggested I need to send another email and answer some questions. I wanted to know if I needed to attach that document to this new email he asked me to send. With a condescending tone, he said, "No, I've already explained what you needed to do." I don't think I have ever been as frustrated in my life, and I used to be in sales of selling the military to high schoolers. Avoid this company at all costs.

      ******* "aka Superman" was gracious enough to interrupt my with day. When I called their office to follow up with the company to asked not to be contacted again I was referred to a suspicious 800 number with a "special promotion for select callers.

      I have now been on the phone for over an hour & a half trying to cancel services. I just paid $1,466.00 to cancel my contract. They are now telling me i need to provide a written request to cancel my service. This company is the worst. People should be warned what they are getting themselves into. This is criminal. They will do everything in their power to keep you from exiting. Their product is not worth the headache at all.

      One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had!supposedly 4 hour window 12-4, at 3:50 I have not heard from anyone.I text the number from previous confirmation texts - reply is "sadly on this team we only have access to accounts that have not been installed before"I point out "this is an upgrade"reply is "correct, we don't have access since the account is an upgrade'At 4:20 I receive a call from the technician - apologizing for running late, he will be there shortly.Noted: alot of kids screaming in the back ground. He states he should be able to complete upgrade in about an hour At 5:40 I receive another phone call from technician. He still having issues and can be there shortly, if its not to late.Still kids in background -- Birthday party?I reply "Its to late we will need to reschedule. Ask him if any afternoon, evening is available next week.He states "He doesn't know, won't be able to tell until he closes the ticket! He suggests I call Vivint to reschedule!I left work early for this?I will have to leave it again, to get this kinda of service?No one can answer questions or provide answers!Bottom line... They obviously don't value my continued business - 10+ years Contract would have been $40 per month for 5 years minimum (almost $2500)

      I have been having issues with the Vivint app on my android phone. Due to the update in the middle of 2023 it has not worked on my phone. I was told that they did the update it doesn't support my phone anymore and I then I was told that the IT department will be fixing it. It is a year and 3 month and nothing has been done to fix the problem. I feel like I have wasted my money on buying this system from Vivint and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ANYMORE. Also when the customer service personal says that they will credit your account they don't do it . This company is not reliable and the break promises. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

      8-15-24 Client: **************/Personal Assistant ************ Vivint sales representative came to residence established an account, created an email, password to gain a business/client connection with ************** in May , 4, 2024. Only document provided was a marketing pamphlet with sales representativess handwriting. Vivint sales representatives will not return phone calls, emails, text messages, voicemails. August 8, 2024 **************** agreed to cancel account and reverse all charges. Have not heard from Vivint **************** or ************.
