      0 Stars , Vivint will not disclose information that could lose a sell. They only give you information you want to hear. My salesman didn't tell me first 3 months are $200, then $50 for monitoring after that. Where did the $200 for first 3 months come from , I don't know I wasn't told about it until it was already installed. I was told by technician not seller. They are removing it and refund me my installation charge- $200.05 for installation etc. Don't use them if a Company didn't disclose all to you then what else are they hiding.

      They are terrible STAY AWAY!!!!! I am trying to cancel my service and they apparently have a contract that you have to pay out. They are trying to get me to stay on. I do not want them and they will not let me cancel. HELP!!!

      Almost everything from the transfer of the account onward. Account setup was a nightmare from the setup. Wrong names, excess billing, services being mysteriously added or removed from the account. When I moved out of the house, it has taken over 20 phone calls, at least 5 bridged with the new owner, to try to get the account "transferred". They've called me daily for billing that they still have not fixed. I have blocked a half a dozen numbers from them. It has been nightmarish. It has affected my credit to the point I have retained counsel on the issue.From the technical perspective, devices breaking constantly. The thermostats went out in the winter and left me without heat for a day in February. Lost data, unbelievably poor customer service, no one to escalate issues to...if they are a contender in the ***************** customer service category, they are easily worst than ******* or ***** I wouldn't recommend this "security" company to my worst enemy if they lived in downtown ******* and got their house broken into daily. As far as I am concerned they are just a money factory masquerading as a security company.

      Unprofessional people!! The **** of a sales boy walked up to MY house and knocking in MY door taking up MY time to start me on a sales pitch about security camera systems and soliciting me. I cut him off telling him very calmly that I'm gonna save him time by telling him that I wasn't gonna be interested and he smirked remaked, "Can I at least finish what I was going to say before you cut me off?!" In just a **** *** sort of fashion I was taken aback by it. I responded that I was trying to have him save his breath and he rudely just turned in back while I was talking and stormed off! I ******* looked up Vivint security alarm systems and tried to file a complaint and the unprofessional call takers just kept Transferring me amongst themselves repeatedly telling me that I reached the wrong extension! I got this interaction on my Ring camera I'm about to put this fool and ******** company on blast!

      We had Vivint Home Solutions for a few years and had paid off out equipments over the June of 2023, then a knock on at the door on Jan 23,24 with a very nice rep Audrey that I allowed to come in and share more about Vivint's new satellite cameras. My husband & I had talked about adding a camera above our driveway so I listened. Audrey & her team went over the cameras & shared which ones should be replaced, which were the 2 outdoor cameras & our doorbell camera, then add the camera to the driveway. I specifically asked multiple times to different team members that were at my house between Audrey, Brian the installer, person on phone verifying & the manager who stopped by towards the end of install. The problem is the indoor camera does not coincide with the new cameras so now it does not have playback. I specifically stated all day we have to have playback & it is the whole reason we have the indoor camera. All these employees I mentioned all stated it will work the same as before but yet it does not. I texted Brain my installer, the very next day & no response back. I tried calling him 2/9 & no answer & no call back. He left his card and said call with any issues. I reached out through the app twice for them to troubleshoot the indoor camera, could not fix. I then went on vacation & then had surgery with a long recovery in bed. I called Vivint customer service 4/30 & 5/9 both days were told it was too late to come get all the new cameras & install the original even thou I tried to get help right after installment. We are now forced to buy the new pro indoor camera & have them install it. Of course Vivint would not hold up to what they ALL stated with their products & how they would work & own their mistake. Instead they make the customer pay for Vivint's mistakes. I was very thorough in my questions on day with rep, installer & manager who as well stopped by my house. I asked them all the same question on indoor camera. I should get the video from our conversation.

      This has been the biggest financial mistake of my marriage. We got there system, which is broken more than working. They took out a loan with citizens Bank in our name to pay for the equipment. I finally paid off that $4,000 only to find out I still owe Vivant $1,052 to shut off the service. They offered to transfer service to the people buying our house, but there is no one that I hate enough to s**** over this much.I have never had an interaction with these people that I didn't feel like I was getting scammed.

      Vivint upgraded my system in 2020 and billed the equipment and installation with Citizen. The total charge on the signed agreement was $1351. When I called Citizen they informed me Vivint sent over. Bill got over $1700. When I reached out to Vivint they sent the agreement via email showing a total charge of $1351. When I dispute the charge Vivint sent me over a email summary that included a $349 installation charge that was not correct n the original agreement. Vivint refused to correct the mistake. I followed up and the customer service agent sent me over the original contract dated 2014 to validate the installation charge. I am so disappointed and can’t let it go so will be seeking legal advice. I am also thinking of canceling the service. Awful experience!

      Biggest fraud around. All the customer service reps can not speak English. They love to fraudulently charge customer credit cards. They are absolute trash.

      Horrible customer service , blind leading the blind! Cant get no one in this company to get anything done to help the customer. Told lies by sales man, customer service will pity you hold for 1hr min then hang up on you!

      We have had Vivint for more than 5 years. They have the worse customer service. We tried to have a camera serviced for the past 3 months and we have been given the run around. We now have 2 cameras down and they don't have a tech for our area. However, we saw the Vivint truck in our area. We called them again about service, since this person was in the area, they stated we are on the expedited schedule, and it was escalated to a supervisor. (for 3 months, the same response)Today, we called to cancel services. They said we need to pay up a fee, but offered a month off if we stay. All of our equipment is old and paid in full. This is by far the worse customer service on the phone and lack of in-person response of all companies.
