      Vivint sold me an old camera system. I called and explained that it was not taking pictures of all the activities, the service representative said he could fix the problem. Less than a week later the camera went offline. Now I am being told the camera is old and needs to replaced. Based on my conversation with the supervisor the camera was out of date when they sold it to me. I have a full house of their equipment and I call for service on their products regularly.

      I have been with Vivint for about 10 years. It worked fine for awhile, then there was not a local person in case I had a problem. I am paying $43.64 per month for the service. Then if any-thing is outdated and has to be ordered it is an additional $50.0 per device. On 03/26/24, I texted Vivint to terminate my contract. No response. Then on 04/12/24, I called only to get a representative that could only say "What if this happened or What if that happened". I told her I only wanted to cancel my contract and I would stop payment. I finally hung up. I went to my bank and stopped payment on my account on 04/17/24. I again called to terminate my account on 05/11/24 and the gentleman told me they had lots of plans. I said I only wanted to terminate my contract. He said that department was closed and I had to call the next Monday. Since all of this, they have turned me over to a ****************** I refuse to pay for such poor service.

      Horrible cameras never worked went off line all the time! They would tell us unplug it !!! But we werent home and wanted to see what was going on!!! They would send technicians out they never could fix ! Ridiculous! Done with this company!

      Impossible to get rid of these door to door salesmen! We even posted "no solicitors." The rep name-dropped our neighbors' names. Not professional. Please just leave us alone! I woukd leave zero stars!!

      ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!! I have lived in my neighborhood for 20 years. NEVER have I EVER had such rude, condescending A-holes knock on my door AT LEAST 2 times a week for the past 4 weeks while recovering from knee surgery. Relentless and disrespectful!!!! I have a NO SOLICITING plaque on my door. I already have Xfinity security services, Xfinity signs, 4 cameras and AV plastered all around my property. I almost feel like they are monitoring whose home at what time of day to do who knows WHAT????? BEWARE OF THESE PREDATORS!!! I have asked them to PLEASE stop coming to my door multiple times through my camera system AND finally asked them if they know how to read. One service "representative" (hahaha)...told me that my No SOLICITING will never stop him from knocking on my door when I asked him to PLEASE STOP! I FINALLY called the police and gave them a description of this punk. I hope they find him and all the other "sales representatives" that threaten and intimidate our community. I will press charges if they continue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "shell" of a company.

      I obtained Vivint in ********* Their equipment is unreliable and to break down They are unable to provide technical support on the island I have been on hold with them multiple times for over an hour since they dont have cruise to come back to your house once the equipment is installed I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are not in *********

      A Vivint rep came to our door to show us their products. He convinced us his system was state of the art and told us we had a great deal, so I signed contracts and agreed to get the system he then told me we had to have the system installed that night to get the deal. He then let me know I have 4 days to test the system if I dont like it they will come right back and remove everything returning my house to its pre Vivint state. These people ran around our home until around 11 at night when my wife had it and was like I want to sleep. They returned the next day and took another four hours installing products. The garage door attachment didnt fully work the smart lights didnt work, and the second base station didnt work so they told me we are going to have to come back and install them later.Day 1 3 hours after the installers left, we had a smoke detector issue Day 2 I am working and hear these strange noises coming from the base station and the same issue with the smoke detector is happening I go back to work another couple minutes later the sound is going off again. I go back to the base station, and it say system is armed but front door is open. So, I run downstairs to see who is in my house, but the front door is closed. After speaking with my wife, she said cancel the service which I agreed we should do.Day 3 The front door sensor said it was open. They garage door said it was open. The fire alarm said it was not functioning. Day 4 I call again to try to get them to send someone out to remove the equipment and still get the offers and sorry to see you go. Its a holiday today (memorial day) so we can get anyone out there. Day 5 It is Tuesday and they state the earliest they can get someone out there is Saturday whiles again trying to get me to change my mind. I then ask why they can have a team of people here to put this stuff in 1 hour after sales but cant take it out just a quickly as promised.

      I would give zero stars if I could.Did not respect no soliciting signs on our front door and asked to come in multiple times when my wife answered the door.Came back a second time and lied saying that there were other groups of people knocking on people's doors saying it was a religious group.Also said that he didn't know who knocked on our door the first time but was able to come to knock again the second time around.Insulted me for playing a particular computer game as well, so classy!Lied about the first person not asking to come in as well and wouldn't give me the name of his manager either when asked.Shady business tactics used to talk to people and sell. Second guy gloated how he made 10k in the past two weeks.Wouldn't answer any straight questions from on accountability either.

      The equipment works fine for the most part. ADT is just as good. Then there is customer support! ABYSMAL!!! I called 3 times for help, and the call center followed the script and barely spoke English, making the whole experience extremely frustrating. Next, I was sent to a 3rd party group, ASKCREW.com. I was told that it cost 1.00 to access the site and the 1.00 would be refunded. That was a giant MISTAKE!!! I asked 1 question and received 2 phone numbers to call.I then was charged ***** for a subscription which I quickly canceled and challenged! (mice print rules) Their response is as follows: We want to mention that by signing up to ********* you have agreed to the 46 USD monthly service membership and confirmed that you understand that the subscription will be automatically renewed until you cancel it. The best we can do for you is to refund the 1 USD initial charge as advertised on our website. We have already canceled your subscription, so you will not get any other billing events for Ask-Crew.Please note that you can still use our service for any tech-related questions or issues till Jun 22, 2024. Here is the link to our chat for your convenience: ask-crew.com/chatIf you have any other questions or concerns, please reply to this email.They are so nice to provide service until the end of the month. However, they still have not returned the 1.00! LOL!Simply, BUYER BEWARE! I would avoid both companies if at all possible. The product is just not worth the hassles.

      Cancelled my weekend plans to wait for my installed (appointment was made 3 weeks out) they confirmed by text 8-12 and by 3pm they called and said they had a "tech glitch" with there appointments. If you can't trust them to show up what happens when my house gets broken into? Hard PASS on VIVINT
