      After 18 months with 13 months of monthly payments (started Jan 2023), I was fed up with VIVINT not sending me a passcode that was created by my ex-spouse and she used her email address which I don't know...they have promised me my passcode to be sent to the address on file which was verified...this apparently is the only way to cancel my subscription...18 months? After 13 months if payments, ai told the bank to decline anymore withdrawals...all of a sudden, I get some correspondence from them, a bill...within 2 weeks of non-payment in Feb 2024, I have received daily collection calls and I have blocked them only to have a VM left on my phone...the last time I talked to a (supposed) supervisor, was on 5/24/2024, again with the promise of sending my passcode to cancel my subscription in the mail, still no passcode...I have spoke with someone every month since Jan 2023...now with the collections, what do I do? I told them on the last call to cancel and send what I owe to my credit score peeps, I don't care, I have great credit...but of course, they can't cancel it because I don't have a passcode...beyond insane that this company is still around...

      They are CROOKS just out for your money and need to be put out of business. Dont even want to give 1 star, should have a negative way to rate them

      Please run if you see a Vivint sale person. We are senior citizens Vivint sale person talked my husband into get there opening an account he did not tell us it would be a $4,000 loan from ************* for the equipment that also came with monthly payments and a separate monthly service fee for Vivint. Their service is horrible. They are also trying to double my bill you. I am always fighting with them to correct my bill.I was able to pay off the ************* loan now I feel stuck to stay with Vivint because of all the money I paid for the equipment $4,000.00. Please be aware of this company. Scammers.

      This service is terrible. The sensors didn't pick up any movement last night by my daughter's car. Someone broke into her car and it didn't record nothing after she came in the house

      I am so tired of Vivint this alarm system is not Reliable the Camera doesn't work only sometimes. charges me 2,700,00 for this Defective system. The Panel Goes black. Am so tired of paying for something that doesn't keep us safe. My monthly is almost $90.00 month. I and my mom went shopping and some people we didn't know watched us and Followed us home in the cab. The cab driver asked us do we knew the people were following us. I said we were not from there we were from **** and didn't know anyone here but the lady across the street. The cab had to lose them before we could go home. This happened last Saturday we made it home with our food and turned the alarm on. then the alarm was not working properly. Had to call Vivint again. Am so tired of calling them about this alarm. That is why we got the alarm because of our medical issues and to stay safe. My mom had a stroke and she stay up all night because this alarm doesn't work properly. The *************** for Vivint name Citizen Pay has a nasty attitude when you call them to ask questions. Something needs to be done about those companies that what all this money on something that doesn't work. I have to call Vivint every day or every week about this system. Vivint sent the tech out Here the system worked for a day or two then it stopped working. Fed up with the system, Vivint, citizens pay.

      Bank had to issue stop payment. Charging multiple times, different amounts stealing from me. They rip you off. The service can be iffy, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I'VE EVER SEEN I think they give lessons to scam centers. Lousy thieving service.

      I was with them for over 13 years and when they started were fantastic. As they grew they forgot about those that has been with them. I called for help with a doorbell that went out. So going through the steps and was told to flip breakers...when I got back they support had hung up. Called back and made me go through steps again and was hung up on again. In this process no help and finally after 13 years I was done with them. So trying to leave them they said I had a major upgrade (got 1 camera) and owed them a ridiculous amount. Finally they sent a tech out and he saw most of my stuff was original except for camera. Called again and all kinds of run around and honestly got confused what they were saying but would not email. Chat said they couldn't help me. Finally said I could get out of it for ********************************************************************** circles. Again chat said they can't help and the only way to communicate is to call them....customer service is a nightmare and I guarantee they will up sell.

      I have been a Vivint customer for over 15 years. My wife and I recently moved and we left the Vivint home security equipment for the family that purchased our home. I notified Vivint that I was moving 60 prior to selling my house and they were awake of the incoming family taking over the Vivint security system. It took 3 months after I had moved to get Vivint to officially close my account and they wanted me to continue to pay for cameras that I left for the family that purchased the house. Vivint confirmed the family was using their service and the cameras that I left behind but they insisted that I had to pay for cameras that I wasnt using. They would not send me the cameras that I was paying for and they were collecting a monthly home security payment from the family that purchased my home. They were receiving two payments for the same equipment. I would not use this company to protect my family with their home security system and I will not recommend them to any of my family members or friends. They are unprofessional and lack common curiosity to quickly resolve matters when customers decide their services are no longer need. If a Vivint representative stops by your house do not open the door and waste your time. You will regret it. Totally disappointed and unsatisfied customer!

      if I could give negative starts, I would. Our Vivint just got installed 2 weeks ago and then since it got installed 3 days later our Thermostat stopped working with our HVAC system. I called them and they said they will send their technician that same night around 7-8pm. we waited until 9pm and nobody came. We waited for a respond from them and now a week later nobody came. I called them twice today to request cancellation and all they can say to me was "sorry you are under contract but we can schedule you an appointment" I was like yea yeah, this was the same promises you guys made, our house is running 90 degrees all day all night since you installed the thermostat". I think paying 144 monthly is not worth it for a very bad customer service.
