1 starWe lived at an apartment complex that was bought by Greystar midway through the lease, and after the new management came it was significantly worse experience as a resident. Upon move out, we provided our new forwarding address in an email and we also gave it to the lease office over the phone when they called to confirm our account was closed, and again when I called to check on the status of the return. Over two months later, we still have not received our security deposit they said we would be sent. Each time I checked with them on the status, they say they never received our forwarding address, which is simply untrue. I then give them our address and they say it will be sent. This has happened twice where I follow up to ask for the status again they say they sent it to accounting but I have yet to receive anything.Review fromHakan O

1 starI rarely write negative reviews. But this time I have to share my awful experience. The apartment (*************) itself and the facilities were fine given the premium price we paid.I would give this parent company (Greystar) zero star if I could. *y son moved out 5 months ago and we still have not received our refund back. This is very different from what was promised by the * that I should get my refund about a month after moving out. First started with the wrong refund amount that I had to correct them. Then I got all sorts of explanations on the delay on getting my refund (i.e., staff change, process issues, miscommunication, etc.) I have sent over 15 follow-up emails and still counting. To me, these are not excuses. This is very poor business practice and not acceptable. With this nightmare experience, I would not recommend renting from any Greystar properties.Review fromKirby C

1 starIt will likely take 5+ attempts to get anyone to answer the phone. Beyond that:1. When I moved into a Greystar apartment, it took management about a month and a half to get me a key that worked for my mailbox. I had moved in from out of state, so I was expecting important documents in the mail that I was unable to access because management couldn't give me a key.2. I moved in in July, which gets pretty warm in Colorado. My air conditioning was broken for 6 weeks, and my apartment was 95 degrees for this time. Management was unwilling to help, as they would have someone come out and look at it and "fix it", when it would break again just hours after they left. They stated that, as I had just gotten service, I was moved back to the bottom of the queue.3. I lived on the top floor, and there was a sawing noise in my attic. When recorded and shown to management, they stated it was "horrifying." They wouldn't send anyone out to look at it until they were reminded multiple times over months. They told me it was squirrels - never resolved.4. I thought that when I gave management my forwarding address 3 times, that perhaps they would forward my mail. Not only did they not forward my mail, they mailed my moving out statement to the old address that I no longer lived at. When I did get my statement, there was a three hundred dollar charge for carpet cleaning. When I called to dispute the charges (as I had photos of the carpet when I moved out showing there was not staining), someone in Accounts Receivable informed me that the apartment complex is not required to clean their units before renting them out, and any charges to clean the apartment will be charged back to the previous tenant. The units themselves are fine to live in, but the management is a mess (except for crumbling steps up to the apartments that have been reported many times but not addressed). These folks are a nightmare to work with - unresponsive, unhelpful, and incompetent.Review fromSeam M

1 starFrom the get this place has been problem after problem. From verifying income to maintenance worker keying car, to 150$ trash bills. Instead of ranting about how the garage door fell on the roof of my brand new car and getting lease violations for having an American flag on my patio, I’ll just say don’t move in or waste your money supporting a business like thisReview fromMelissa H

1 starMove In September 6th, 2023 Sage at the Green/ formally named 3001 Park Henderson Nevada. Rented for amenities, gated community, dog park, BBQs, pools, spa, the beauty of the curb appeal, and the beauty of the apartments that are advertised on the Sage at the green/3001 website. The apartment and upgrades I was promised for my rental price were not honored and I feel lied to and scammed. I spent 1500. in a hotel waiting for Sage to get what they said was renovating my apartment, past my move-in date. This property is a beautiful apple on the outside rotting on the inside. Upon moving in 8 weeks ago, my belongings sit in a 200. per month storage. My apartment was not renovated, and the floor tile is lifting or bubbling. Infestation of cockroaches, water damage under all sinks, big rat hole under the vanity sink. walls and baseboards were dirty, with nail holes, and mildew. Cabinet doors missing out of my bathroom and the mirror. All my doors and door knobs missing or broken inside and outside laundry. My ceiling fell from my porch. The microwave, dishwasher, and air conditioner were not in working order. None of my windows opened. Mildew and cockroach carcasses smashed in door frames. Both of my toilets had black gunk under tanks dropping off, feces, smell and not working properly. My fixture in my master bathroom was missing a light bulb hung from a live wire from the ceiling along with both bedrooms. I had missing door knobs, chunks out of my bathtub, yellow and paint chipping. The amenities are locked up, drained, broken, or not working. Charged for a designated parking spot that I don't have. The mail room for packages is torn up and unusable. In the mail room, the post box is broken nightly, and mail is thrown on the floor or torn up. Cars are broken into or stolen. The gate is maybe shut 1 to 2 times a month. Dog parks are full of feces and dog stations are never full or replenished. Still pending repairs, frustrating and intrusive. Not move-in ready. PERIOD!Review fromRyan D

1 starAfter moving out of my apartment, Greystar mailed me a paper bill for the final wrap-up and cleaning services. The bill had very vague instructions on how to access the payment portal online and did not provide a Due Date - both on the paper bill and on the portal. I attempted to contact Greystar via email and phone several times to confirm the due date, but to no avail.
After paying the total amount due less than one month later in full, I discovered that Greystar sent my bill to collections. I confirmed with the collections agent that I paid the bill in full months ago, and that Greystar not only did not do their own du-diligence to confirm my payment, but were also extremely unprofessional, lacked any kind of knowledge or effort, and did not record their payments in a fortified system. This company is incredibly unprofessional, uncommunicative, and is in jeopardy with the lack of security surrounding personal customer information and records.Review fromJanessa B

1 starThe Domain at Town Center Drive
Moved into a dirty apartment and will tow your car in your purchased parking spot. Management will never admit their mistake, unprofessional behavior and will not take into account any issues. They want nothing to do with you. Walls are paper thin, making you hear everything around you and so you will never be able to get any sleep sometimes. The internet is also unreliable. Did not work for 2 weeks. Theres internet outtages. If you have online class, this place is not for you. Multiple bad reviews regarding same issues for many years. I guess they do not care of fixing issues.
Maintenance is great though. Always fixed issues very fast. Props to maintenance people.
Put your money elsewhere.Review fromDaniel A

1 starGreystar is claiming my utilities are due the same date as my rent. They are also claiming that my utilities charge posts a day earlier than it actually does. They refuse to respond to my emails as they claim it's their "policy", I don't know what that means as they have not shown any of my claims to be false or misinformed. They have now threatened to "lock" my electronic payment account if I don't post utility payments a day earlier than is required by my Utility Addendum.
My Utility Addendum states "When billed by us directly or through our billing company, you must pay utility bills within 3 days of the date when the utility bill is issued at the place indicated on your bill, or the payment will be late". The utility charges post to my account on the 1st of each month.
That same Addendum also states: "Where the terms or conditions found in this Addendum vary or contradict any terms or conditions found in the Lease Contract, this Addendum shall control." The rent's due date does not apply to the utilities per that language. The rent is due the third day of the month, the utilities are due within 3 days of a posted charge.
They have not provided any legal document that states anything other than what I've provided. All they've said is their "position remains" despite being shown multiple legal documents that prove my position. I feel bullied and am distraught at how poorly I've been treated / threatened.Review fromCrystal N

1 starThis property management company is a joke. They literally do not care about the tenants in any way shape or form. We lived in our apartment for 2 years paying an insane amount of rent on time every month. It was impossible to get assistance from anyone in the leasing office in regards to changes such as new package lockers that they put in but educated nobody on. Now I have moved out and was charged for carpet cleaning that I paid for on my own upon move out. They told me it was going to be credited and here I am getting an email with my statement still showing money owed that I was told was going to be credited. Then, trying to call them is impossible as all of their representatives are always on the phone. Probably because so many people are having so many issues. I do not recommend moving into any property that uses this management company.
