1 starIve had the extreme displeasure of living at 3 separate properties in different states, managed by Greystar. The quality of amenities always goes down once your first lease agreement expires. Then, the renewal comes out with rent jacked to the *** extent possible if the area has rent control, or what they can collude on with other properties in the area. Maintenance requests become very simplistic and you cannot set the priority level, you cannot reserve amenities if they are even open, and the overall vibe comes out: Greystar is there to cash your checks, nothing more. During the ******19 pandemic, all amenities were closed down for safety. That was all well and good until vaccinations were rolled out, and restrictions were lifted. Amenities were still closed! And when you went to the front desk to ask why, you are supplied with the same reply: Oh our lawyers/legal team hasnt deemed these are safe to use yet. When a private entity ignores the government regulations on health and safety, and other places are opened up, the money grab is apparent. Nobody should be paying high rent for a living space that is not being maintained or even made available to use. I dont appreciate corporate landlords who take hard-earned money to fleece the pockets of their executives and spend on frivolous things. Amenities are broken/unuseable, and RENT REMAINS THE SAME! Additionally, there have been multiple occasions where utilities due with the monthly rent arent provided, but management states Just overpay with last months amount, and well work out the difference. This is unacceptable behavior from any landlord. Greystar is a slumlord, with a culture of benign indifference to tenant needs and desires, bordering on criminal negligence. I sincerely hope to see Greystar towed before a congressional hearing someday, for s******* over hard-working ********* out of their money and contributing to the housing crisis in *******. I would rate negative 5 stars in a heartbeat!Review fromAleksandar S

1 starFrom Elan Harvest Green, 3424 Harvest Bounty Drive: My AC unit was not functioning properly for a single day since I moved in, in March (I'm typing this in the late June)
I moved in March, and I was the very first Tennant in the brand new building.
Beginning of May, I needed AC for the first time and to my surprise, only 1 air duct was functional (1 out of 8)
It took a month to have someone climbing to the attic and fixing the ducts.
However the job was poorly done and today I still have 1 fully functioning air duct while the rest is barely producing any airflow.
The worst part is that they are making a fool out of me. The repair crew was sent into the apartment and they kept providing ridiculous excuses.
I lived in many countries, traveled a lot, meet people from all the creeds, with very different moral values, but I have never seen anything like this.
The building is brand new - and the ducts were disconnected?! How this building passed the inspection?
It took unreasonably long to get the ducts partially fixed. No apology, no vouchers, nothing in return for the inconvenience of not having a functional AC in Houston (100 degrees F)
After more than 5 tickets, 2 guys were sent to fix the problem. Instead of going into the attic, where the problem was (is), they came to the apartment and were either puzzled for no reason, or they were making a fool out of me. They were constantly failing to observe the obvious: that there is insufficient airflow. Instead, they were closing the windows (I have no idea why), trying to change the angle of the fixed ducts with a screwdriver (really?), measuring the temperature (airflow = windspeed, not temperature, wrong instrument).
Average rating of 1.04 stars is speaking volumes.
Also, the entire building is made poorly and my floor is "bouncy", because the beams are flexing.
I hope it will not spontaneously collapse.Review fromDebra P.

1 starEither this business needs to train their employees better, or they are running a scam. They collect quite a bit of sensitive information and an application fee without telling prospective clients of the income requirements until after the application is denied. Then they collect another application fee + sensitive information from a prospective guarantor, again not revealing the income requirements until the application is denied. When you try to go to their website, it doesn't exist.Definitely find a different place to live.Review fromErik B

1 starHorrible customer service. Guests of the building are now charged for parking just to visit which is a change in the contract of 90% of the tenants which should be illegal. I highly recommend staying away from this complex and if you need to get out of your current lease you should be able to leverage the fact that they changed the contract agreement which should make it easier to get out of yours without penalty. This business won't last with this type of management.Review fromPramendra C

1 starHideaway Apartment
7900 E Princess Dr, Scottsdale, Az 85255
this community horrible experience. They will charge you fees which never agreed and bad customer service. Management is rude.
Today I had to pay $235 extra for their system not working and they are not ready to listen.
Below are scenario:
Last month new management took over and asked us to Pay rent by Check which we deposited and she mentioned, you can setup auto payment for next month and so on, which I did. Today mid of month received one Email received that your June rent is due then I got to know auto payment didnt run schedule for money and top of that they put $200 late fees and $35 notice service fee. I never receive any Email or Notice about rent due or auto payment system broke.
When I ask to provide me proof that Email went out on June 5,6th and Notice sent to me...nothing there. Their behavior is very bad and rude.
Its not my mistake that they didnt inform resident about auto payment broke, top of that she asked me to test auto payment yourself not management duty...really.
I am in this community from 7 year, never had this issue, this is very bad experience. If their mistake they should own it.Review fromEric L

1 starWorst management company ever! Tried to evict ** not knowing we have receipts on every money order we ever paid them. Someone cashed out 2k deposit. The leasing agents here in **** were the worst of the worst! Glad our apartment owners fired them, but after 1/2 of the community either got evicted or abandoned their lease. Never move into a graystar managed property. Run!!! run as far as you can and dont look back!!Review fromDont M

1 starSo I'll start by saying we moved here about a year ago 2022 May, when we 1st came the place was super quiet and about 50% full. Then a few months went by and... well just look at Greystar reviews... for apartments they are sitting around 2.5-3.5 stars, why most reviews say the management, or lack there of, it's because it doesn't exist here. Pictures from my time here are at:******************************** and you can make your own assessments without my very swayed opinion about living here. I broke my lease early because I just couldn't deal with the nonsense that goes on here any longer. (Also, If you like dogs but don't want them all over you or jumping at you as you are minding your business walking down the hall. Don't move here.... people have zero concept of having a large animal and not everyone is a fan.) The rent for what you get, doesn't equate. Good luck if you do move here, you've been warned.Review fromPointe At South NO D

1 starI wish I could give Zero Stars they took over as the current management team for my apt community that was previously Con Am, They are so RUDE with ************************** They only do the Bare Minimum for there residents. The Carport Fell on our cars and they did not fix it, It has been over a year and per lease we are supposed to have an assigned parking which we don't because people constantly park in our space because it is not covered. When we complain they lie and say they are going tag peoples vehicles and they don't too lazy to leave the office , It took forever for them to fix my washer in this over priced upgraded unit. The property has has numerous car break ins and when you report it to them they do nothing. Horrible Management Team if the Apt says Greystar Run.Review fromDeanna F

1 starBEWARE ! COMPLEX IS A SCAM. From giving in a $265 deposit and being approved and flagged for what she couldnt care to explain but yet it wasnt flagged when you took my **** money ? OH. AS- and all the girls attitudes were disturbing and very off and then being denied. They are con artist. 9/10 they do not have any units available and have them posted to keep taking deposits and then later deny you to tell you they'll refund you. **** weeks by check and that's not how they receive payment. They know after that their deposits can't be disputed. As didn't respond for two weeks, asking for more info that was given to tell me today I was denied and the reasoning made no sense. I wanted the corporate number and she said "you can search it" "it's on google"....excuse me ? They are deciding to scam other people and help the corporation and thats beyond DISGUSTING to me. Never again.MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEM SCAMMING Unprofessional. I called back right after twice to speak to a supervisor now no one is picking up. I have been ready for a month to move in and now I'm back at square one. Don't trust this complex. SCAMMERS !!!!!! reporting them as well.
