I don't know what to say besides this is the worst property management company I have ever encountered. I am counting down the **** until my lease is up at the property I am currently living at (************* in ***** **). The managers in the leasing office are the bare minimum of helpful, they pretend to take your issues and problems into consideration, however that is very far from reality. After you speak with them and the reassure you that these problems will be dealt with, nothing ever comes from it. I have been lied to since day 1 of touring the property with fees that were never disclosed (they are claiming that they were), amenities that are not able to be used like EV vehicle charging due to guests and visitors using the spots, internet going out ALL THE **** (and we received an email regarding a credit due to the several missed days of service and never received one), safety concerns are at an all time high with the parking garage gate being broke for 2+ weeks now and cars have been getting broken into & homeless people wandering the property, hired security guards sleeping on duty, management turning empty units into AirBnbs, and the entire property lacks cleanliness to a whole. Greystar has made it seem like they care about the issues we are dealing with, however do not answer their phones or emails so it's impossible to get ahold of ANYONE.Due to all of these issues I am filing a lawsuit and taking the company to court to address this. My hope is that anyone reading this steers clear of this company entirely as you will be less than happy at any of the properties they currently manage.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. The Marshall Apartments will take advantage of you and all students. I would not under any circumstances advise anyone to live here, not even my worst enemy. After moving out, they charged me a ridiculous move-out fee. This included basic maintenance charges for things like cleaning vents, outlets, a double charge for paint touch-**** toilet cleaning etc. I wanted to discuss these charges and I immediately tried to contact them and their insurance organization by the name of ********. I sent countless emails and left voicemails. The only time I heard back was from a Greystar agent that left a voicemail stating my account was frozen and he could not discuss any details with me. I never heard back again after reaching out countless times. THEN THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS. I once again reached out and after finally getting a hold of the Marshall, they agreed to remove half of those charges. So I was sent to collections before my account numbers were even finalized. This is completely unfair and the fact that they immediately removed those charges once I was finally able to get them on the phone shows that I should not have even been charged in the first place. This place and Greystar will take advantage of you. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Thank you for reaching out to the property, and I am glad that we were able to identify the errors that had been placed on your account. If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

Update ****** I have handed in my termination. My lease was 15 months, but after 12 I am moving. They also put the assistant manager to the manager position who could care less about any resident. Please do not move in here.......... This is bad and has gotten worse.I notified management that I have a dry cough and constant runny nose. I suspect there is mold or something in the air or ventiallation that is causing me to be constantly sick as well as my cat starting to wheez. They tell me I have allergies and I don't. Something is wrong. So, the maint supervisor comes in with something to test for wet and nothing is wet, so he says no mold/contaminents. He doesn't understand there can be mold in a dry area that once was wet and are refusing to do a mold test because everything is dry "right now" Picture of moldy window attached. I am sure the vents are bad.Update Feb 2024 Not much has changed. They still continue to overstate the water. I don't have a w/d in my unit so have to use the insight ones. They are very old broken I found out recently that my clothes are not clean because a couple of the washers are leaking and it doesn't fill with water to properly clean.Bldgs are old and very drafty. This freezing weather my elec on a 600 sq ft Apt on 70 degree thermostat was hefty. I can feel cold air leaking in I still have trash pickup problems I kept trying to talk to Greystar corporate but they won't and pass my messages to local who won't do anything either. I would not recommend moving here.Update 9/2023.Now the water company legal clerk is emailing me after I contacted the ** utility Commission (which by the way, could care less). Now I have to pull, they requested, all water bills, reciepts of what I paid, and emails to mgmt office. This is just a clue to they don't know what they are even doing to request that I pull all my bills and receipts because they keep saying I don't pay the water bills when in fact I do.

Destinations Alexander is holding my Deposit application fee of $550 for applying for a unit. The "office manager" who wouldn't tell me her name, told me it takes up to 30 days. I gave them the money on 2/12/24. It is now 3/15/24. When I called, the manager talked over me not letting me explain what I was told by an office employee. She inferred that the employee I spoke with was not truthful and the same for a corporate employee I spoke with. She was very rude. Told me that a check was mailed to an old address and they were waiting for it to be returned. Lies! I called the office where I used to live and there has been no mail for me. I was told it was mailed to my new address on 3/5/24 and the employee verified my new address. Nothing to date. I'm on a fixed income, that money means a lot to me. She has no shame! I wonder if she would do this to her own grandmother. Probably!

They manage beautiful buildings, but the stuff feels like being found from the streets, especially legal department. Every time we're trying to reach anything from them. They just copy past the same answers. ignoring any communication from your attorney to reach settlement without going to court court almos, almost impossible. I'm very surprised that still all these great companies like ****** hiring Graystar from management manager their apartment complexes because it's literally the worst part in whole experience I live in Jardine and I can't complain about security like even like main manager and maintenance. Staff is amazing as soon as us connected to the main office to resolve one issue it just impossible to reach anything, they ignored my communications they keep pressing and pushing and abusing you to sign the papers and give you like as late as nothing so you'll not depress and charges in future so if you don't have a lawyer, probably some people gonna do it but it's not gonna be left like . They gonna keep ignoring all evidences you have even the footage from your video camera which proves that people have to repair your apartment was stealing from you until the last beat. They gonna say that it's not true nothing happened and if you want to do inspection for mold or anything out to head flat, good luck it's never gonna happen then never gonna be replaced anything and they're gonna charge it at the end deposit.

If I could give them 0 ZERO 0 stars I would!!! Greystar has been nothing but hell! I absolutely love the leasing office workers at our apartment, but you will meet a new worker every single week due to them not able to keep employees. We moved out January 31, 2024 and received a statement from greystar stating we owe 174.91$ for PAINTING. They used our deposit of 200$ than we apparently had a due balance over that as well. We called greystar management about this. They stated that we still had to pay this even though there is a law about wear and tear for this reason. We had no damages to the apartment and minor wear and tear to the paint from living there for over a yr. We contacted the leasing office and they reviewed the pictures taken and got our balance corrected. We now would owe 33.91$. I am fine with paying that. We waited 2 weeks to get the statement on greystar app fixed so we can submit our payment. NOTHING. We (husband and I) called greystar and ********* from the management company was SO RUDE and told us to we are no longer allowed to contact them or the leasing apartment. All we did was explain we have a new balance and need it fixed so we can pay. I asked to send proof of the correction and she said I can send her proof but it wont change anything balance wise. we called the apartment back and told them what she said and the leasing office manager was SHOCKED. Hopefully she will connect them to get this fixed.. if not, we will be suing for small claims.

Unfortunately I know Greystar does not care about its residences at all. Another bad review here. I have no idea where to start it is so bad. I can summarize by saying I live at Kent place in Englewood Co. When I initially toured the property it seemed perfect. Not so fast. They lie to get you in saying- the complex has wifi, their is a steamroom however, it rarely works, the golf simulator goes down and it takes months to "fix it", the hot tubs break down and they also take at least 6 weeks to fix, the coffee maker typically does not have milk in the machine, printers in the common area run out of ink or paper and it takes 2 months to get them working again, security is ridiculous, there are only cameras at the entrance of the garages, hence several thefts and car break ins, this is the best one... hot water heaters are not maintained or ever changed after 10 years and they burst. If you are the unfortunate one to live under this bursting hot water heater, you are plain out of luck. My apt was flooded on Dec 25, 2023. Not a single person answered the emergency line. My apt was partially destroyed leaving my holiday plans with family whom flew in to be with me, cancelled. I paid to put family in hotels. This happens regularly on my floor. Clothing is ruined and furniture and Greystar in Denver tells you to screw off. The key fabs stop working regularly leaving me to not be able to access my own apt, way too many times to count. My car was broken into, many items stolen, management says to screw off when wanting some help or understanding. Many folks here are disabled, greaystar says too bad when they are more than inconvenienced. Their lives are left in danger regularly with the fire alarms going off regularly leaving them no access to elevators. They lie and say it is luxury! what shit, how insulting. When Chandra from the DCT office asked me "how can we help" I told her and she told me to screw off in so many words. People need to be warned before being lied to.

Horrible experience with ********. I hope to never conduct business with them in the future and I would caution anyone considering housing or even a job with Graystar.I was the guarantor on my sons lease for a rental from *********** in **. He was charged an excessive fee upon move-out. Despite efforts to inquire about the statement immediately after, they neglected to respond. They failed to respond and provide answers to my questions. 14 months later, they sent the bill to collections. I continued to seek answers, trying to contact them through many phone calls and emails. Instead of answers or an explanation as to why they sent the bill to collections, they commented that they were no longer managing my account.
