1 starI've been dealing with so many issues at *************** that have made my living situation a nightmare. Where do I even begin? The parking garage door was also left broken for weeks, leaving the area insecure. I was very concerned about the safety of myself and my property. There is also only 1 hour guest parking, so if you ever want to have a guest over longer than an hour, then you have to park across the street and pay. Then, my car parked IN the garage had its wiring harness chewed up by rats. The complex needs to address this rodent problem to protect residents' vehicles. This is most likely due to the uncleanliness of this place due to the constant sticky floors and the reeky smell of trash and weed. You can see in the images attached the ***** on the stairs (it was recently power washed due to some recent reviews to cover their tracks). There was also a 3-day water outage due to a burst pipe, and the complex only provided 2 water bottles per resident per day. I had to go elsewhere just to shower and use the restroom. And the elevator was out of service for more than 2 months, making it a huge hassle for me and other residents to access our homes. It also may be an ADA ************ top it all off, a resident's laundry key card mistakenly gave someone access to enter my apartment. This was a major violation of my privacy and safety. The $200 rent credit they offered as compensation is completely unacceptable.I've had to seek legal counsel due to all these issues, which I believe constitute premise liability and negligence on the complex's part. The apartment management **** ensured to do her part to slow the legal process by refusing to connect my lawyer with Greystar's legal department until I contacted ***** the regional manager. I strongly advise anyone considering living here to reconsider. This has been an absolutely terrible experience.Review fromBeverly S

1 starI have a sink that has been stopped up for 6 months. The water pressure is so low hard to brush teeth or fill up a pot. One toilet flushes sometimes but at the time of this writing has zero water in it. No maintenance seems available. Can't afford to call a plumber and charge them for it. Very unhappyGreystar

1 starGreystar sold Parkway Lofts and all Parkway Lofts accounts back in November of 2023. My husband and I moved out with notice and permission in June of 2022.
However, they sold a debt we apparently owed on the Parkway Lofts account to a debt collector on Feb 1, 2024. Not once had Greystar attempted to collect on this debt in the 1.5 years it took for them to sell the debt.
Tell me, how can Greystar sell Parkway Lofts and then attempt to collect on debts on it 3 months after selling the account?
When we contacted Parkway Lofts, they told us to call Greystar because they (Parkway Lofts) has not attempted to collect on any debts and all of that comes from Greystar. Furthermore, Parkway Lofts informed us that multiple people have called with the same complaints. When we contacted Greystar, they don't know what's going on, saying they closed the accounts in November, and we need to contact Parkway Lofts about it. So it sounds like Greystar sold debts 3 months after closing the accounts.Greystar

1 starI had a water leak in August. They fixed the wall and never fixed the pipes which end up leading to mold in my apartment. Instead of relocating me they told me its my job to figure out where to go while also telling me I cant be in my apartment while they finally clean up the mold. Its currently April of 2024 and they fixed the leak in 2023. So its their fault, confirmed mold in my apartment and I refuse to let them work in my apartment with mold while Im still living there. Came up with no solution. Might have to get lawyers involved as well.Review fromIsabella K

1 starThis apartment complex is far from luxury, I was told I would have an apartment in the back of the complex. Come moving day it is not available, my things are in a moving truck, we are moving. I was offered a last second apartment and had no other choice but to accept. I start moving my things in and the apartment was never cleaned after the prior resident. There are dead roaches on the floors, in the cabinets, and on the counters. Week one the neighbor upstairs and their family dang on their floors (my ceiling) chronically all day and night, I have talked with the neighbors and the front office multiple times, I was told the office staff spoke with the neighbors multiple times, however, just last night I had to endure the banging and stomping until 1030. I have reached out to the corporate office 3 times and have not heard back from anyone. There were many issues upon moving in like stomping neighbors, ROACHES (weeks and weeks of treatments and fogging, as weel as being told I would need to pay for my dogs boarding due to their roach issues, I even spent my own money $100 on my own treatments), leaking windows when it rains, the clothes washer you are forced to have and pay for full of mold causing the whole house to smell, a clothes dryer you are forced to have and pay for that did not dry clothes, old dirty carpeting in the bedrooms, a multitude of neighbors not picking up after their dogs causing a terrible smell at the front door and back patio, I am sure I missed many things. Bottom of the line please please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live.Greystar

1 starI have filed numerous noise complaints about neighbors playing music past quiet hours for months. I understand that this is not the fault of any employees. After the officers did not deter them, I finally opted to file a formal complaint with staff. They have been quite unhelpful and listened to absolutely nothing I had to say. They have signs posted everywhere about strictly enforcing these quiet hours but do not stay true to that promise at all.Greystar

1 starThis review is in regard to a Greystar property located in Denver, Colorado named "The Pearl DTC." Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
Dangerous. Deceptive. Dishonest. Shady. These are only some of the words I can describe Pearl DTC, where I lived 2018-2019. Upon moving out, we got everything squared away with the staff, providing them with appropriate notice that we would not be renewing our lease. There was absolutely no indication that we owed anything more. We provided them with our forwarding address and all of our contact information. Fast forward 5 years. We received a bill from a debt collector for supposed unpaid fees at Pearl, even though we were assured everything was good when we moved out. We provided a forwarding address, and never heard from them. They didn't contact us at all, indicating that this shady strategy of neglecting to tell about move-out fees is a scheme to swindle money out of its residents. It's very clear that this operation exists to fleece tenants. You should be very aware of the rampant, dangerous crime in the area. If you are unfortunate to live here, lock your car doors and be extremely vigilant. Crime is rampant in the area. There was a murder on the property in February 2020. We had an active drug dealer living below us. BEWARE of these scammers!

1 starI have lived at a Greystar property for over 3 years in ************* and this is the ugliest and rudest staff I have ever encountered in my years. The front office does not respond to resident concerns. They gaslight you into thinking everything is your fault as the resident and dont inform you of simple things and threaten with lease violations over everything. The occupancy has dropped drastically since new ownership took over of the complex. Im not sure why I still live here! Greystar Property Management needs a course in human decency and customer service skills asap.Review fromAugusta C

1 starWhen I first moved into these apartments in August 2022, everything was great. I had little to no issues and whenever I did have a maintenance request, they were on top of getting them resolved. Last month, I moved out because the rent was too expensive. I provided my 30 day notice to vacant in January 2024. Last week, I received an email from Greystar which included my Move Out Summary and I was appalled. These people claim I owe them almost $400 for carpet replacement. I dont own any pets at all. Oh and they assessed a cleaning fee and prorated painting. The cleaning fee will always be added when you move out (BEWARE). So, basically the $500 deposit I paid, GONE! I reached out to Castlerock and Greystar to dispute the prorated carpet replacement fee that was assessed onto my account and was told by *********************** (Greystar-Account Receivables) that if the carpet is 5 years old, the tenant is responsible for paying, according to state law (something like that). I was floored. No one has ever reported that information to me. Additionally, utilities such as water, sewer, trash, aren't billed immediately upon move in. It takes about 3 months for you to be billed accordingly so, essentially you'll always be in arrears. It's ridiculous! Because I didnt want this account to go into collections, I paid the amount. I will NEVER RENT ANOTHER APARTMENT MANAGED BY GREYSTAR! They're thieves!
