I entered into a lease agreement with The Henry Apartments in November of 2023. From the time I moved in my apartment was dirty, the previous tenants eviction paperwork and old mail was left in the apartment, hair in the carpet and drains, mildew in the drains and floors dirty. They gave me the run around and did nothing about it. They moved me into an apartment above the assistant manager Vicky Morale's office where she proceeded to harass me via phone calls and text messages over "noise" complaints. In February I was 19 days late on my rent payment due to switching bank accounts at work. I had to wait a physical check in the mail to make my rent payment, I communicated this clearly to them and gave them a date of when they could expect the payment, including all late fees specified in my lease. The assistant manager Vicky Morales then sends me a stipulation letter via docusign telling me that I had to pay an additional $285 in attorneys fees! Nowhere in my lease does it specify having to pay an additional $285 on top of the normal late fee and no eviction was filed so there was no need for an attorney. I did not sign the letter and they BLOCKED MY ACCESS TO MAKE PAYMENT via the online portal and via electronic money order. I emailed them and let them know I was attempting the make a payment and they would not respond to me. When I visited the office no one would be there. 2 weeks later they filed an eviction on me for failure to pay February's rent! Fearing homelessness i immediately started to look for an apartment. I luckily found a new apartment and returned the keys to them on March 22 they then dropped the eviction and proceeded to send me a bill for over $8,000!!! THEY REFUSED TO TAKE MY PAYMENT, BLOCKED MY ACCESS..FILED EVICTION ON ME TO PUSH ME OUT AND SEND ME A BILL FOR ALMOST $10,000!!! The owners apartments, greystar, VICKY M******, LISA F****** are all PREDATORY PREJUDICED and discriminate against residents.

      Do NOT rent from Greystar.
They have brand new units in Caldwell Idaho and for over 1800.00 a month for a 2 bedroom that we pay we have been promised the pool, Jacuzzi, and BBQ area would be open in a couple of weeks.
      That was in April 2024.
Today is June 8th and the pool opened today
Greystar needs to refund the tenants some money for all of us paying for their amenities that we never got for 2 months.
      Also Management Sucks.
All Amanda talks about with tenants is the headaches from taking over this property.
And how bulk bills were never paid by Greystar.
Taylor the asst manager has 2 left feet and ugly shoes.
She is more concerned about her barbie image than the tenants.
It pisses me off that we have to even give a 1 star.
      They deserve a NO STAR

I have lived at Coddle Creek apartments in Concord for a year, the property is nice and new, as a single mother I pay 2100 plus for a three bedroom, which is insane but it is the market. I attempt to pay my rent on time every month however there are so many different places they post rent amounts and they are all different so I pay the amount due on the one I was told to look at from the beginning but you have to go into another portal to pay and the numbers never match, the portal will not let me pay an adjusted appropriate amount, I notify them every month and let them know, by the 6th I get notices of non payment although the portal will not allow me to put in a payment. I give screen shots and documentation and email documentation. The amounts they show always have extra fees and extra charges so please pay close attention to your ledgers as this has happened every month. They state they will fix it and never do. While I’m waiting for them to fix the issue they file evictions on me 3!!!! Times now, in less than a year then charge me for said evictions. I started paying by cashiers check to prevent this and then they nail the box shut. So I walk it in and the admin hands it back to me and will not take it. Then proceeds to file evictions on me. I can not believe the processes here. As a single mother this is terrifying for my children as they sometimes see the court evictions papers left by law enforcement in our door and are terrified we are going to loose our house. This is unacceptable to treat families this way especially children. I have tried for a year to remedy this with them with no solution and feel it is time to warn others about the issues so you can make educated choices about your housing.

Trying to contact ANY member of the Greystar property management team members is impossible!! Sure the onsite people will contact you and fill you with whatever you want to hear. I have photo's that I would LOVE to share with them, but they make it impossible to contact them. Wonder why they are not willing to speak with the people who live in their establishments, is it because they don't have to here? Sure would welcome a response to this, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I will never rent from Greystar Properties again. This is the first time that I have rented from them. When I go pick up my keys and learn which apartment I am moving into, I am told "I would to show you where the apartment is but I am busy". Only one key for the apartment worked. The main bedroom toilet did not flush, the cabinets are stained and warped - cheaply made - one of the kitchen cabinet handles came off the first day. When I told the manager of the apartments, "I did not go that deep" was her response. I thought that she was having the toilet fixed. No!!! After several days, I find it is not her concern, you have to put in a ticket. Really! When you move in, everything should work. That is your main job. You want people to rent from you. Your customer's first days moving in, you want to go smoothly. First impressions go a long way. Especially if things are going to continue to pop up and it is only the first couple of months. They changed the front door lock on my apartment and only one key worked again. I just made another at ******. When you ask a question about about maintenance or billing not showing up promptly in the app you use to pay, it is always a number to the company handling the apartment's maintenance or every apartment uses this system. Accountability and pride in a job well done is gone. I am looking for a house again. If I end up renting, it will be somewhere else. Sad. I like that it is a small apartment complex and close to my work and family. I am sharing my experiences with people at work and church. I will find a better place.

We have had a horrible experience with Graystar Managment in ********* MA. Worst building Managment I have ever dealt with. Un-Professional, Rude, Ignorant, Incompetent, and they do illegal things like retaliation, intimidation, and discriminate just to name a few. Do not lease with this managment company!

Greystar is a terrible company, I would give them less than one star, if possible, High rent, internet does not work, I had an issue with outlets since I started living here back in June and it has not been fixed. I hear there are water issues in the higher floors. The people they have rented to have a lot to be desired for a "luxury building" as they put themselves out there. The management in the building does the best they can but the actual Greystar is terrible. Managers have left. I feel like I am living in a university dorm. In order to fill the building they have not vetted or just rented to anyone that can pay their prices. Dog p*** everywhere outside, no one picks up after their dogs, homelessness around the area prevents me from walking my dogs early.

This letter is intended to address whomever is handling security deposit disputes. On 3/24/24 I applied for a unit *** at your Axiom property in San Diego,CA. My move was cancelled on 4/12/24 and I was informed that my refund would be sent back to my card, the original payment method within 3 to 5 business days. After that time period I made several calls to the office and was told that they did not know what was going on and they would get back to me with their response, which they never did.
I called every week even showings app to the office at times and was told that my payment had to be processed and that I would receive a check. And I said have received it by then. They claim to have made an attempt to reach out to the original office to see when my payment will be sent out to me. I was livid as I'd already waited 3 weeks for my refund at that point. Jessica actually sent me a screenshot showing PIFI said several emails that were never returned with a response. I have called the office every single week and each time I spoke to Jessica or Roxanne they inform me that they were going to call me right back. Neither of them ever returned of my calls. As of today 5/29/24 I received a deposit check for four hundred dollars. I walked into the bank and the informed me that this check was not valid and that it was not on a positive pay list and could not be cashed. This is unacceptable and I have had it with. Your deceptive trade practices. I want my refund today. This is fraudulent. I cannot believe that you would send me a fraudulent check after waiting almost 2 months to receive. I need someone from your office to contact me today. With a form of payment that needs to be remitted back to my original form of payment today. Otherwise, I will be prosecuting you to the fullest extent of the law...
      Update:
Contacted the office and was informed that yet another check would be sent to me. No explanation as to why i was sent a fraudelent check.

Absolute garbage. NO good service, doesn't work with their tenants, won't fix anything, tells you you're getting a remolded unit, all crap. Had a guy come up to me asking for a gram of some drug then proceeded on property to ask other if they had any. When I bought it up to the office they said it was my responsibility to file a report about it. A sprinkler went off in my unit over a year ago and there were no attempts made to fix anything. All they care about is if you pay your rent. I paid $5,800 dollars last month and still nothing. I've lived in slum houses that were up kept better. Not a great place to live.

My review is for Verde at McCullough Station in Charlotte, NC

My wife's car has been broken into 3 times during our 9 months here. Verde will offer compensation(which shows they accept responsibility for lack of security), but ghost you when it comes to actually delivering on that. They even said they would offer compensation if I removed my previous review, which I did. As you can guess, complete ghosting after. The only communication you can receive from the office is when it's time to pay your rent. Unsafe premises, non-responsive office. Deserving of 1 star.
