Do not trust Comcast with your money.
I couldn't get decent service at my apartment, suddenly, after having no problems for a couple years. After months of trying new options, I gave in for a year and just resigned myself to the fact it wouldn't work well. Then another company moved to the neighborhood so I jumped on switching internet. A couple months after that, I decided that I wanted better cell service too. So I switched. The agent I cancelled with told me I should get a prorated payment for the three days used. Wrong, I just got the bill...two months later and it's full. Because I was the "by the gig" program, I don't get that. So they lied to me. Then they said another charge would be coming for a month I did not have service for. She fixed that and removed my payment (after telling me she couldn't). The people I spoke with before her, wasted 1.5 hours of my time. The first agent, whom I told I had mobile payment issues, was looking in home or business, when I clarified many times it was mobile. I asked for his supervisor and she called me 30 mins later when I was trying to catch a bus to get to the Xfinity store, since no phone agents had been helpful at that time. Then come to find out, she can't help because it's not her department either, but she apologized profusely for her associate. Not one person said "hey, it was only three days of service. Why don't we just waive that bill. Have a good day." Nope, they just wanted to keep wasting my time. The third person I talked to was actually the one who helped, but she had a 5 year old in the background yelling. I get that you work from home, but it should be in a space secluded from your family, if indeed you're getting paid to be on a call service. When I worked at home, I had an office that I worked in with the door closed, so as not to have background noise. The company is just overall unprofessional and wants to use and abuse their customers. Rebranding or not, Xfinity is still the old Comcast we remember

Xfinity Comcast needs to be regulated !!! They have no competition ! The service stinks and they are price gouging the consumers! We had to wait 5 days for service restored after a tree fell. They want to give you $ 15.00 credit on a 170.00 a month bill.

The most predatory and scamming company I've ever dealt with. Pay for 1gbps and you will be lucky to get 200mbps. I've been with them for almost 2 years (thankfully the contract is finally ending) and wow, I've never missed BlueRidge more.
Comcast is a company of shysters, trying to milk you of money while providing you the scraps of the service level you pay for. Seriously, choose any other ISP.

So Frustrated with customer service in trying to to resolve lapses in internet. Individual employees appear to do their best to help you but no one honors what another says and everyone's hands are tied when it comes to honoring what the last person told you and you go along and make all the changes recommended and pay, pay, and pay and the issue is never resolved and I just can NOT call them or go their store one more time. I apparently have no value after years of patronage and so I will figure something else out. Such a bummer!

On September 8th we called Comcast to upgrade to unlimited data (because that’s a thing now for home WiFi) so we spoke to someone who offered increased speeds, and unlimited, for a discounted rate. Also said they’d clear our data overage fees from the account. Thought great, we signed the paperwork for it. Today our internet was shut off and was 400 dollars due with new data overage charges. Because we were behind, the automated system wouldn’t let us talk to a person. It took over 2 hours of trying before I used someone else’s Comcast info (consensually) to get through to a human who was able to fix it within minutes. Comcast, this is disgusting. What is wrong with your company? When a bill is past due, a system won’t help.
The automated system is the worst one I’ve ever experienced. Every attempt takes a minimum of 12 minutes, and then it’ll keep giving options to talk to a DIFFERENT version of the automated service. If I ever get a chance to instal fiber with Google or Century Link, I’d be willing to pay any amount to get it. Comcast, as a customer of over 10 years, you’ll never see my money again once I am able to leave your horrid business.

In this day and age, mobile carriers should have an online or completely automated SIM activation processes. Xfinity Mobile requires customers to call them. I just called them and their phone support was closed without telling me when I could call again. IMHO this simply unacceptable!

This is a review from my girlfriend. Xfinity is the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. She had appointments that they never showed up for 5 days moving into her new condo. We had vacation planned for 2 days after they would “supposedly” come. Every day it was excuses. We lost our vacation and it still is not installed. She needs it for work. The absolute worst customer service ever, and they don’t care. Making you wait at home for an appointment that never happens. You really should be ashamed of this loser business.

I've had interrupted service every single day for the whole of October. I work from home. I've lost money and time at work due to Xfinity not solving the issue. I've been hung up on, I've been lied to. I was told I'd have a technician come today at 8AM. I got up early to make sure to be here for them only for no one to show up. I call again and they say "oh actually it's scheduled for tomorrow at 3. We don't see any other appointments." The calls are recorded. I was just blatantly lied to. Ive had credits applied to my bill but I don't want credits. I want my internet to work. I'm in sales. I'm losing commission because of this. I'm losing money because of this. My job is literally on the line and Xfinity is the only provider we have in the area. This is unacceptable. Internet is going down every 5 minutes since the 1st of October.
