their website uses 3x the data as a normal site, draining KB which they turn around and charge customers for.

I tried to switch my mobile service from **** to Xfinity Mobile in February 2025. Initially, it was stated that there was a fraudulent port out request from a 3rd party carrier. I did not initiate that port request, yet it was still attached to my number. After jointly contacting Spectrum mobile, the representative stated there were no active port out request in their system for my number. This issue has been ongoing so much so that I cancelled the service all together and informed the agent that I no longer wanted the mobile service. However, they continuously charge the account that was supposed to be closed months ago. Additionally, reaching a live agent is nearly impossible as the automated service is dated and doesn't respond well to prompts. Xfinity Mobile has been a nightmare and I warn all to be advised.

I'm surprised that this organization of thieves has a whole 1.6 rating, which is higher than it deserves. I'm NOT surprised that it's not accredited by the *********************** the years that I've been with them (since I have NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE), they have suddenly added a data limit with which they steal an extra $100 per month AND aren't able to provide a stable service. Calling "customer service" is, more often than not, an exercise in futility. Even when the agents have been friendly and wanted to help, it was clear that they didn't have much training. This company really needs to be replaced. I DO recommend that anyone who DOES have a choice find another provider.

Trying to use my own modem and get some answers about speeds and limits. The app broke so i tried using the "ai" assistant. Its just a bunch of canned messages that take you to different parts of the app, which is still not working. I got an xfinity customer support number from another site as it wasnt listed in the app or from the assistant. All this did was ask the same questions with terrible voice recognition. Then tell you to use the app or ai assistant. Both the phone and ai assistant promised to connect me to an agent and never did. They just start over immediately.

I signed a contract with comcast to change my internet speed to 300mbps at $121/month and comcast systems never updated this and continued to charge me $300/month. I have multiple accounts with them and some are higher and some lower so I had not noticed until they tried to charge me $600 this month. This issue stems from Comcast systems and not ***** **** who I spoke with. I contacted comcast and they refused to refund me telling me there was a system error and I was still being billed to the prior rate and I needed to sign a new contract and seek credits instead. This was a comcast error, not on my end and I signed the contract to receive the lower billing and internet speed. They are refusing a refund per "their policies" and because they failed to update the account per the contract.

I was offered a promotion by an online agent. I was told I was eligible for the promotion as a thankyou for being a long time customer. 2 new ******* watch 7's for free, for my husband and I and I only had to pay for taxes. They didn't tell me I was also paying for 2 new lines, at ***** apiece for said watches.i was also offered unlimited data on my existing phones as I was on a by the gig plan. I even had a transcript of the interaction. I also didn't get unlimited data. I called to complain, escalated it to a manager and was told that it was an online agency hat offered the deal so they would get a perk. Xfinity didn't have to honor the deal. The agent would be fired for the incident. However, I was stuck with the deal. I said I'd complain to BBB and they told me to go right ahead. The weren't accredited so they didn't care and that Noone goes by BBB anymore anyway. They said they already had so many complaints they thought it was funny. If they were not the only game in town here, I'd change providers. I will never deal with them over the phone again. I'll go to my local office, get all offers in writing and then keep transcripts so that if I have a problem I am able to sue the local office in small claims court.

I would have left a zero rating if I could. First thing, this internet service provider business is like a mafia where each company has an area divided and you are left with no other choice. Knowing this, they operate with predatory business practices where they provide you with a reasonable price for the first year and then BOOM the rate spikes up ridiculously high! Then they give you another "discount" for a higher service package and that price is again valid for just one year and again you are blindsided with the price hike that is almost double your regular ******** make it worse, they sneak in charges that you aren't even aware. When I bought their connection they gave me a tv remote and a peacock box FREE and said that it will ALWAYS BE FREE. But then 2 years ago they started charging me $10-12 per month for EQUIPMENT FEE. I was late at noticing it. When I noticed it I raised a ticket for this issue. It took me months to make them stop charging me this fee. But after many many months I am still fighting with them to refund the charges they put on my account without my consent and agreement, and sadly I haven't gotten anywhere. They keep tossing me from agents to agents and each one saying that yes we will refund that amount but even after months the ticket hasn't resolved. A truly HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. It has gotten to a point where if that amount was a little low I would've let that go but the amount I am fighting for is HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS! I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMCAST TO ANYBODY!

So I fell into the Comcast trap yet again. This time, the unlimited internet drew me in. Once you get this, you will be forced to use their modem/router. As usual, their hardware is junk. I was able to setup my local WiFi. I disabled the broadcast, however, for some reason several of my devices do not connect well with the Xfinity disabled broadcast. I logged onto the router to change the settings only to find that Comcast had taken control of them and locked me out. It directed me to do this on an App. Already unhappy about needing to install yet another app to manage WiFi when I have a perfectly good browser page to do this functionality I reluctantly started with the App. I found that the app had to go through custom and manual updates before it could have the WiFi button. I spent hours on tech support, to finally get the button to show up. But then NONE of the functionality showed up, all blank pages. This is when the phone service (also bundled through this trap) started acting up. So of course the agent wanted to help with that. This should have been a 5 minute chore, instead I spent hours on tech support debugging their c*** software. To stop wasting time, I am just going to buy a quality router that I can do what I need. You wasted my time and cost me money again, thanks COMCAST!
