      Congratulations! You lost another customer.

I had been with Xfinity twice for internet services, over a total of 3 years. The first time I was with them, I was actually pleased with their services. The one annoyance I had was when one of their sales representatives called me and tried to get me to upgrade my services, and continued to try to sell me after I already told them I was planning to cancel my services because I had no use for them at that time.

The second time around was the worst. When I signed back up with them, I chose to bundle my internet service with my phone service (I paid for unlimited). I paid $50 for each service every month. However, once I moved in with my partner, who was using Century Link, I had to cancel my internet service. Xfinity punished me by increasing my phone bill to $75 a month, despite the fact that they advertise their unlimited phone services at no more than $50 a month. This was unacceptable, so I chose to switch phone services and tried to transfer my phone number. But in order to transfer my number, I had to request a security PIN from Xfinity. Xfinity would not send me the PIN, and when I tried to call customer service, I sat on the phone with them for an hour and a half, being bounced around between 3 different departments, before one of their representatives finally told me to go to one of the stores. I did that, only to waste more of my time, because their store rep could not access a security PIN for me. She referred me back to customer service. I finally gave up and asked them to just cancel my phone service, which took ANOTHER HOUR!

Now, thanks to Xfinity, I have to go through the trouble of calling other companies to update my phone number so that I can access my accounts again!

Here's a tip if you want to keep your customers: STOP WITH THE HIDDEN FEES!

If you want your customers to return: DON'T HOLD THEIR PHONE NUMBERS HOSTAGE!

I will be going through Century Link for my services from now on.

I was trying to obtain a lower rate from Comcast, because it has doubled in the past few years. I was on the phone for 49 minutes trying to explain to the operator that we just needed two TV stations, and I explained what those two were multiple times. He told me that we could get a lower rate with those stations. However, when we turned on the TV tonight, one of the stations was no longer available. It seems like Comcast purposefully tries to where you down to the point where you just give up and pay them whatever they want. How difficult is it to look up the cost for a package that includes two channels and give me an honest price?

Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, doing business as Xfinity, has made it impossible to get help. Their automated system will run you through circular steps involving their voice agent and texting with an automated system. It is circular and will not result in you speaking with a human -- which is important when the options they present you do not fit your problem. Automated call backs result in hangups. Comcast Cable Communications, LLC / Xifnity is, by my account, designed to take your money regardless of the quality of service or any service provided.

Xfinity promised $30 Month Credit on the Internet Bill when you signed up for the Xfinity Mobile.
this was supposed to happen automatically, but i had to call them and complain about not getting the credit, they keep forwarding my call and message without solving the problem.

Xfinity mobile, SCAM. Stay away from them. The internet tho i like. Back to mobile. I had 2 lines. I lost my job and wasent able to pay for 2 months. I of course knew it was going to be suspended yadda yadda. Expected some fees. But then i got the mo ey to pay 400+ to turn them back on and resume service. Customer service says yea i can do that and continue making payments on my phones so they dont go to collections. Well a week after turning the phone on and submitting 400+ to them i get a letter saying my accou t is going to collections.... lime come on why you gotta lie and after only 2 months. Verizon, and t moble dont do that after only 2 months. The wait atleast 4-6 months, i know cause it happened to me during covid times. Also saying they run off verizon nework. Maybe verizon table scraps. I never once had 5g service with a 5g phone. Switched to verizon and had AMAZING service. They are NOT comparable to verizon lolol. Do not waste your money here. If you are looking for "cheap" or service either do prepay, or verizon. Verizon has the best service. Ive hopped from all service providers and always went back to verizon. Hate their prices but LOVE their service. Only did xfinity to save a few bucks on internet. But if you qualify for ACP benifits, there no point in buying worthless phones when you cant even speak to a live person over the phone. Costomer service is a joke. They deserve a negative 5 star rating.

Comcast Xfinity is abominable. It puts callers trying to report a technical problem through the automated-menu circles of hell just to talk--eventually--with an offshored "representative" whose accent is so thick it's nearly impossible to communicate. You have to beg and grovel to get an appointment with a service technician. Isn't that a basic function? Apparently not. The way that Xfinity operates is, customers just pay the $$$ bills and put up with the ever-deteriorating service. It's a monopoly--it has no real competitors--so it can get away with this disgraceful treatment of customers.

I have been forced to use Comcast all over the country when I have moved for work. If I have the choice, I never use them, but they have monopolized so many areas, it's crazy. I am stuck with them now and I absolutely hate it. Super slow internet when I pay for high speed, I am consistantly disconnected and the 1st install where I live now the guy couldn't speak English, so I had to have them come back out again to reinstall......because apparently everyone but Comcast doesn't have a job to go to. The worst company and zero actual customer service. The body that governs cable and internet should not allow Comcast to monopolize ANY area.

If I could give this company negative 100 starts, that would be too generous.

This company is, by far, by any measure, the absolute worst customer service in the history of customer service.

If you have any option other that Comcast, do yourself and your blood pressure a favor and take that service.

Getting a hold of a human is next to impossible.
Once you get a human, they either tell you they'll do what you want to get you off the phone, then don't, or give you every excuse from their excuse encryclopeida 300 volume set as to why your perfectly reasonable request for every other reputable company is someone asking too much for this pile of stinking poop of a company.

      Xfinity stole from me.

I moved approximately 3 months ago from a unit that had a built in router and equipment.

Today, after 3 months of 0 issues - I'm charged 3 times my bill for a "lost equipment" fee, that I never had, and caused my to overcharge my bank account as they also couldn't bother to even notify me of an increased bill. When I stopped in to correct the issue, they refused to refund me and gave me a credit. I can't eat this week now - great job!
