      Consumers should be warned about recent set top box upgrade requests from Comcast.
      We received an email stating that our current box is outdated and that certain services would not be available after Jun 26 unless we upgrade. Also- " Click below to order new TV equipment – at no additional cost – so you can continue to access this content on all your TV boxes."
      We processed the upgrade as per their instructions.
      Then two weeks later we receive message that there is a correction to our bill for an apparent additional $9.95 HD Technology Fee. We were never informed of this billing change up front when they told us we need to update the old box. Not to mention their statement of 'no additional cost'
      Even after discussing this w their agent, it is still unclear what the real impact will be until my next bill. They did provide me a 5 month credit on the additional fee but this lack of additional fee clarity upfront is very frustrating.
      Also, why are there no competitive sources for cable in our area (Corvallis)? Why give Comcast a monopoly on service??

      Why the updates each morning? Are they getting a record of what I watch the most so they can figure out a way to add an extra charge for that channel.

      It 6-7 months to my internet service. Paying my bill with out service.After sending a note to the Philadelphia office. Grateful news. Now I am unable to let them know my payment is in the mail. No live person to talk to. I wish ?? ?? the customer service was better.

      Been with them for 20+ Years. YOUR bill WILL go sky high!! Last bill was $300 for tv,phone and internet.
      Called them to reduce bill many times,all they did was downgrade services. Bill went up the next month.
      There should be a law to prevent this SCAM! If there is a civil lawsuit I WANT IN!
      WORST COMPANY. Hope they go under!

      I called Comcast on March 5 and told them that I need to cancel my service at my old address and they did not because the department was closed. In the notes on my case the agent put the request to cancel the service but it did not happen. Now they are harassing me with phone calls and report to National Credit Reporting Agencies and collection companies. I will start a case with legal if they call me one more time or text me one more time!

      I am a loyal 30+ year Comcast/Xfinity customer (internet, cable, mobile). I have never had a major issue that couldn’t be resolved quickly and easily until now.

      I’d like to upgrade my iPhone SE2 to the 14 Pro (old phone doesn’t hold a charge). The only thing holding me up is that Xfinity employees can’t get past the “security check” because I refuse to give out my SSN. I’ve explained to chat, phone and retail personnel that this is not a form of ID (read the back of your SSN card). I’m willing to show multiple forms of government-issued photo ID and the physical credit card I use for payments. I keep being put off and told there’s no way past this. Their own website says I can bypass the SSN with these other forms of ID.

      I’m willing to shell out ridiculous amounts of money and still cannot purchase this phone for my already existing account in good standing.

      Any assistance is appreciated.

      I have been trying to get Xfinity to replace a main cable wire in my house that they damaged when they built my house and they never show up and never call me and explain why they didn’t show up. I have called customer service several times and they keep promising they come over and fix it!!!!!

      They are charging me $184 just to use Internet on the laptop. I have no TV I haven’t had a piece of 2018 when I started feeling doing business with them, and their modem, it doesn’t even work at my apartment. Someone else is using them beside me because they’re allowing other people in the park the building to piggyback on my modem I can’t even hook up to the actual modem the numbers that are on sale off of an off to do list service is terrible and I really wish there was another competitive service here. I can’t believe they charge someone like me 184 bucks or service. I’m not really getting.

      Terrible management, shady sales tactics, overcharges. They make it very difficult to return something after telling you there sending a free phone three adding the phone to your bill.

      Even when they tell you the current deal they always neglect to tell the customer how long the deal is when it expires and what exactly happens when the deal expires. They simply tell you the sucker deal price and neglect to tell you the price will triple in a year. That’s one example of systematic manipulation in my opinion. Scam

      I would do as little business with this company as humanly possible
