I only gave 1 star because I can not give 0. There is not a company on this planet thats cares less about their customers than Comcast. You no longer can reach a live agent. They hide behind an automated attendant and hope you give up.

I have been a member of xfinity for over 20 years
However xfinity is becoming more greedy everyday.
They sent a sugar coated email.saying
      Continue enjoying your discount!!!
Then the contents of the letter telling me I have to change my method of payment or else!! so that they make more money..see email below:
Effective July 20, 2023, you may see a change in your automatic payment & paperless billing discount, depending on the payment method you use for your automatic payments.
If you’re currently enrolled in automatic payments with a credit or debit card:
Your automatic payment and paperless billing discount will change from $10 per month to $5 per month.
To continue to (take advantage ). ....another sugar coat ..of the $10 automatic payment and paperless billing credit discount after July 20, 2023, update your automatic payment method to a bank account using a routing and account number here.
If you opt out of automatic payments or paperless billing this discount will be removed entirely.
So I contacted them ( which is hell of a difficult thing to do ) to see how I can reduce my bill cause they increased the modem fees to 15$ I was told to buy my own, which I did.
Most modems do not have a phone line,so I had to buy the one without which is much faster.
Customer service guy calls me since you opted to have your own modem we need to enroll you in a new bundle !!I thought he was going to offer a discount since I am not using the phone line..O no the bundle they have which would be equivalent to what I have will cost me about 15 $ more ,unless I get their modem and pay the rent ..it is outragious that they are allowed to do this BS.who oversees them gouging their customers ..or even some type of coercing .I am to say the least extemely disappointed .
I have noticed that many marketing plays on peoples assumption that they are offeered a good thing while the truth is a wolfe in a sheep clothing !

You have charged my account for $194.05 for some kind of service that was not explained to me when I bought the phone, these charges listed below are for the time i have had the phone March 04 2023 $218.49, March 04 2023 $49.05, April 06 2023 $65.64,May 24 2023 $49.21 June 24 2023 $55.16 and the charge above should not have been added to my account and I would like for some one to take these charge of $194.05 from my account and if you can't. then I will cancel my phone service. Comcast sucks NOW. I have been with them for over 20 years and they claim they appreciate your loyalty but honestly they don't show it. I am paying almost $300 for the mere basic of services. I CANNOT wait until I find a new service provider.

I recently moved and set up service with Xfinity for home internet and the agent who helped me offered me a deal to set up a mobile phone which would be discounted as part of a package and included a free phone. The name of the agent is Marsha H*****. I was told the monthly bill for this phone was 45$ a month, which was the service fee. Upon receiving the first bill which was 75$ and scheduled to be deducted by the end of the month I called Marsha and asked why the bill was so high, I thought the phone was free. She assured me it was only a one time charge this month and that I was not being billed for the phone itself. I asked are you sure and she assured me saying I wouldn’t do that to you, the phone is in fact free. Well upon being billed 75$ I was able to look at the breakdown of the bill and see that I am in fact being charged for the phone that I was told was free. I attempted to reach Marsha twice since at the number she gave me and my calls are not replied to. So I called the main Xfinity customer service number and explained the situation and they said there was nothing they could do because I should have called within 30 days of setting up the phone to make changes or get a refund. But I did call, I called Marsha, who assured me 100% that I was not being charged for the phone. Xfinity will not rectify this mistake and offered no solution at all except to just accept it and pay for the phone. Well, that’s completely unacceptable when they promised the phone was free, otherwise we never would have bought it, we would have stuck with the previous carrier where we had a phone and a monthly service charge less than the 45$ xfinity was supposed to bill. Now we’re stuck paying 75$ a month for a phone with absolutely no recourse and No integrity shown by xfinity or it’s agent. This is robbery. And the fact that there was absolutely no resolution offered except to return the phone and pay for any damages done to the phone, even though it was supposed to be FREE!

Contest canceled my current contract and put on a streaming only program which I did not ask for. They said my contract had a year ago so I did not qualify for any new pricing. But then they told me that if they put me back onto my old contract, I had to go to the current roots, not the red that I have. All I want is my old programming, under the rate so I had, and I don’t expect to be billed for June.

I will never be another Comcast/Xfinity customer! They took my money out of my account after I already closed it on June 1 and I have to wait a long time to get my refund! Businesses always want your money right away for their services but when they owe you money, it takes forever! I talked to two customer service reps prior to the one that I talk to you today and they assured me that within seven business days that I would have my money! I still don’t have it and I don’t know when I’ll get it!

The absolute worst customer service imaginable. For more than 4 hours this morning I have been transferred and transferred and dropped and had to repeat the same story half a dozen times. They will not get me to a manger to escalate my issue.

I have done a biggest mistake by switching to Xfinity and trade-in my phone with Xfinity and Internet service. Initially, they promised me that my trade-in will be applied in 10 days after checking they said 15 days, lastly they said 3 months. Its been 3 months I have yet not received the trade in value.
Also, while trade-in they gave me an offer for Internet that they will apply $20 Credit each month for 2 years for my Internet if I bundle Internet with Xfinity number. I am fed up with Xfinity. Everytime I call them, I have to be on call for 1 hour without resolution. Is there a way to file complaint against Xfinity. Such a big company and they are behaving like cheater.
