I recently got Xfinity mobile and decided to take advantage of their trade-in promotion. I went in-store and purchased a new phone. The employee working at the store took all the trade-in information from my phone. I received a label to mail in the phone after I was done transferring everything from my old phone to the new phone. I mailed in the trade in March and have never received a trade-in credit. Every time I logged into Xfinity there was never an update on the status of the phone. Every time I called Xfinity they would transfer me to Assurant. Every time I called Assurant they would tell me I need to talk to Xfinity. Well after months of waiting for the trade-in credit, I get an email that my trade-in was not accepted due to a make/model mismatch. I sent the same phone the employee saw to enter the trade-in information. So I do not understand how there would be a make/model mismatch. I have been trying to find out why my phone was not accepted. I have called Xfinity and asked for a manager or supervisor and every time I do not get transferred. This feels like a scam. I want a solution to this problem.

Horrible phone service and stuck paying for a phone that rarely works. It's not the phone itself, it's the service coverage. Noone can call me, constant calls break up so bad I cannot carry a normal conversation, I can't get my voicemails either.
      It's horrible!!!!
But I'm trapped with them til this phones paid, another year. Once it's paid I will get a provider that actually legitimately covers my service area, cause it's NOT Xfinity
      I'd give it a 0000
And noone cares or will help at all!

Had an absolutely horrible experience. While everyone was individually kind, NOBODY knew what to do and I was completely mistreated.
I moved and according to their website, you should be able to just transfer service. I did this, yet when I plugged in my modem, it of course did not work. I was trying to get in contact with customer support for hours before they finally let me talk to a person instead of AI. This person told me I would need to go to the store to get a new modem. I went to the store and after waiting 30 minutes was told that was not the problem, that they needed to add a code to my modem and change my service. Fine, if that was the problem it was. I was told by the store, that if I returned home and plugged my modem it, everything should be working. Of course this did not happen.
After more time spent with the frustrating and unhelpful AI customer chat, I was told to schedule a $100 technician visit. The technician came (and like everyone else was very nice) and the wifi worked while they were here, yet they left and it returned to not working. I immediately began trying to get help again and it took me upwards of an hour to talk to a real person. The AI customer help kept trying to restart my modem even after this was not fixing the problem. Finally, it wanted me to schedule another $100 visit.
I finally got hold of a real person. After much trouble shooting (that already happened - but I am assuming they had to for their job) the original problem (I need a new modem) is correct. Extremely frustrated with the store (**** * ******* ** *******) and everyone I spoke to in between who did not seem to realize the true issue and instead told me other incorrect facts. Let's hope this works finally...
The monopoly this company has should be illegal, especially as it is incapable of doing its job or providing customer support. I know like most people this is the only choice, but if you have another choice, choose to use ANYONE else.

I have been having issues with comecast for a couple years now. They send the wrong equipment and charge you for it, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Long story short I canceled my service, they charged me 300 dollars when they weren't supposed to. They said once I return my equipment, I would get a refund. I returned the equipment and got a little over 200 dollars back. A couple months went by, my husband and I moved into a new place and decided to purchase xfinity internet again. They set me up, gave me a router, I paid the 25 dollars to start service. I had internet for 4 days before they ahit me off saying I owe them over 400 dollars for an old address we haven't stayed at for over two years now. After countless wasted hours of arguing on the phone, and no supervisor wanting to even help, nothing was resolved. I offered my receipts as well as my emails from the actually company stating when my service ended and what I owed at the time. However, they would not accept any of my documentation, and on top of it, they didn't even have the account they are trying to bill me for in their system. That is only the beginning of my problems with this crap company. I will never come back as a customer, and you bet I will spread the word on how this company is full of professional SCAM ARTISTS! Xfinity will never see my 400+ dollars that they can't even prove that I "owe".

They have left an entire section of a city without internet for an entire day. You cannot get a person to talk with on my a recording with no explanation and no fix. This is in Kingston, TN.

After relocating to a new state for a job I started internet services at my temporary housing. Four months later, and with great luck, we found and closed on a permanent home within town. Comcast did not offer service to our new home so I was unable to transfer the account to the location after closing. This leaves two options to the consumer; continue to pay for a service you aren't receiving or pay their early cancelation fee. If the company can not facility transferring service to a new location because they don't offer it they should not be applying added fees to their customers as a result.

No one should be expected to limit their housing choices to avoid Comcast's fees or their inability to provide continued services.

Absolutely the WORST SERVICE EVER. You pay top dollar and when service is down you literally can't speak to a live person. Very frustrating!

We're a Comcast Business customer who was without internet and phones since early Wednesday morning. Our service cable that they failed to bury properly was cut, and they won't come out until Monday afternoon, LEAVING US WITHOUT INTERNET AND PHONES FOR 5 BUSINESS DAYS, not even, as one agent suggested, to have a guy spend 10 minutes to do a temporary splice until they could get around to properly fix the problem. I've spoken to at least 20 people on the phone. Some conversations weren't recorded because they hung up on me, transferred me without my permission, or left me on hold for over 10 minutes. I spent at least 5 hours on the phone with Comcast, including hold times. Eventually, we decided we were getting nowhere and threw in the towel. Some tech support agents said they would escalate the case, which did nothing. Some said they would get someone here sooner, which did nothing. Some said they would get supervisors to call me back, who didn't call me back. I spoke to the retention department, and they just blindly connected me back to tech support multiple times, or offered no better help than tech support.

Comcast/Xfinity Mobilile is engaging in high level fraudulent practices. I was reassured that I was receiving two free phones without a contract by
the signing agent, only to discover upon the first bill, that I was to be charged monthly for the 2nd device, when this was never stated upon the initial conversation. I learned at that point that there was to be a penalty fee for canceling that line. Fast forward about a year and upon canceling the home internet, I was informed that my mobile plan was to up an $25 per line! And to make matters worse, that if I was to cancel the mobile plan, I was going to be charged a penalty for not just one, but both lines! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this scammers!
