My Samsung Galaxy phone was giving me trouble so I went to the local Xfinity store in March 2023.They ordered a replacement which came via UPS. In the meantime, my old phone was fixed so I returned the new one, unopened, to the Xfinity store. A month later they charged my credit card $800 claiming I hadn't returned it. I went to the store and called and the issue was resolved, or so I thought. Their computer system has repeatedly blocked my service for lack of payment. Each time I make contact with them, my service is restored and I'm assured the issue is resolved and I'm not charged. However, without any notice, they send a faulty bill and/or arbitrarily stop my service. This happened a minimum of 6 times, twice in the last week and a half. Exasperated, I decided to switch to T-Mobile. Now Xfinity won't unlock the phone to allow me to transfer. The "customer service" folks are of no help because they do not have the capability of correcting the situation. Issues like this are handled in another department. I'm at my wits end with this company and don't know where to turn.

Terrible Service. Have had agents out here many times for faulty internet. Last technician out said my box and equipment were fine but I was getting intermittent service because of neighbors box and wanted ME to go to neighbors and see if they would schedule repairs with comcast! What kind of crap is that? What a monopoly for such a crappy business. They aren't even BBB accredited but the city doesn't care, as long as they are getting their kickbacks.

Contacted Comcast because my internet bill skyrocketed from what use to be $70 to $135 now.

Comcast kept offering me "free speed upgrades" that "would not raise my bill" but then in the end raised my bill without my consent. I would not agree to get the "free speed upgrades" if it meant my bill would go up.

I asked to get a lower bill, they offered me $110 a month for 800mbps, I said this is absolutely ridiculous as AT&T and T-Mobile both offer $50. I would have been more than happy with 400mbps with unlimited data at $75 a month but they refused to meet me in the middle.

Mind you on their website they show $55 for 400mbps at my address and yes this technically it's a "promotional offer" but frankly if you look anywhere else where Fiber is provided then their prices are lower for more throughput. Being such a large market like Chicago, Comcast is being completely ridiculous for an outdated coax network that cannot even offer symmetrical upload/download speeds like Fiber can.

Yes, I understand that in my area Comcast can offer up to 1gbps with no cap if you pay a $25 month fee while AT&T only offers 100mbps on DSL with a 1.5TB cap and T-Mobile with their service being 5G meaning first come, first serve depending on how much demand there is in the area and if the tower has enough bandwidth.

End of the day, Comcast is simply trying to milk their garbage coax network for as much as it can without upgrading to Fiber. Comcast is an awful company, and their upper management simply doesn't care with the sad choice that if you want better service, you have to sell your home and move if you have no decent internet providers as options. STAY AWAY IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN.

When a new router/modem was installed in our house last year it was not set up to work with a phone line, making the phone literally useless. Since then we have not only been forced to pay for the service they have not provided, we have also been lied to, hung up on, and blamed for the incompetence of their technicians. We were told we would receive a refund for the time it didn’t work, but the technician could only find when it stopped working after he fixed it, but the one technician who finally got it to work said we were lied to and that he can’t tell when it stopped working. We have also discovered that, according to an incompetent customer service representative that the recorded conversation of every call we have made have disappeared and we were denied the ability to speak to a supervisor and then hung up on. This is theft and Comcast should be ashamed of themselves.

We had a big storm 48hrs ago which resulted in internet lines being down blocking our driveway. Getting the run around from att and Comcast pointing fingers at each other and saying they won’t fix it because it’s the other’s. It’s been blocking our driveway preventing us from going in or out for 48hrs.

Complaint about poor customer services and unreasonable bill received.confuse about what I am charged while receiving 30$/month and only using 9.95/month?????

1.i renewed ACP early this year soon as received notice of renewal with tons of phone calls with xfinity and ACP by updated name, address etc after 1 year of usage.and it went through.now was told to pay for 3 months bill because of ACP pending status.i was just told this information today on 8/18.below 2# was reason when I called in June/July asked about bille, bills, also told will be fine and taken care of.no need to worry.

2.customer representative told me the phone package i applied would effect my wifi bill,I canceled immediately after that,he said wifi service will restore and I won't get  billed after I cancel with phone company, thats exactly what I did.

3.was given false and different informations from different representative each of every time I call, back and forth if they have recordings.just to make me keep calling and not been helpful at all and solve no problems ever..
4.i made a complaints to their company to have someone in the department call me back try to resolve, was told to write on forum I did, they asked my name and address extra to help, when I try to reply it doesn't allow me to type then of course to post without writing details, what a customer service?what about customer abuse???

This company bully’s its customers you can’t speak to an agent until you pay your bill. This is the first I’ve ever heard of this. This proves to me that you only want my money and not to give me good service

Horrific customer service. Continuous intermittent WiFi on a daily basis for weeks and no one can get the issue resolved. It took several weeks before Comcast agreed to send a tech because, “We aren’t detecting any interruptions”. Well, if they aren’t detecting issues yet I’m having issues then obviously someone needs to come and see what’s going on. A tech finally shows up and replaces the cable fixtures but states that he can’t replace the actual line, which is “very old and desperately needs to be replaced”, from the box in the garage. Comcast subcontracts replacing lines. An actual Comcast tech can’t replace 150’ worth of line.
A work order was placed by the Xfinity tech with the subcontractor who never responded to the request. A week later my WiFi is now completely out and I've been relieved of my PT job responsibilities because the job was mostly online. I also have no TV (the least of my problems, now) because I have the Xfinity streaming app powered by WiFi. Comcast was “unable” to send a tech in an emergency situation to run a mere 150’ of line to try and save my job. Comcast is, “Sorry”. This company has a Monopoly in this town yet not one tech with an extra 30-40 minutes to run a few feet of line. That’s really bad!
