      Have had a Comcast/Xfinify account for years... since they bought out our local internet provider (New Mexico Cable back in 1992ish). The actual service has improved over the years but the customer service has declined so precipitously... to the point that we have looked for other providers. Unfortunately they have a lock on service that offers any real speed. So much so that it seems like a monopoly. They should split this company up just like AT&T. No company should have this much control over options!

      Our internet and cable tv have been out for 3 days. Calling ******* is a futile effort. You get cycled in their phone web and then the automated phone service hangs up on you. Forget trying to talk to a real person. They give you an option for them to txt you when it is completed. Then they put in a fictitious time when it will be completed. Usually ***** hours from the time of the txt. Then that time comes and goes with still no service. It usually takes them an hour to change the time, which is usually ***** hours from the current time. Our new estimated time is now 5:00am. It is currently 5:00pm. Like we are supposed to believe they will be working over night to fix our problem. If they were really working on it why is the estimated fix time so far out. If they need parts and pieces just tell us. It is the least transparent company I know. As a friend said today they are like the airlines. I say they are worse than the airlines.

      Xfinity has conveniently distant itself from receiving customer complaints. After being mislead by a chat agent offering a better deal, which after the fact was not, my internet and cable cost went from $200 a month to $250, after reversing the offer to the original service within 3 hours of the initial change. The only way to contact them is through phone or chat agents, none of which are in the U.S. There is no response to my replies of their sent emails. And I have not received any response from the local store after issuing my complaint directly. I find it offensive that an internet/cable/phone provider does not have a direct path for it's customers to file a complaint, where as the customer can expect a response.

      Xfinity in portland oregon. I applied for the acp and gave xfinity my approval number in March 2023. As of August, it was never applied despite phone calls. Emails, and in person visits.
      I then reapplied bc it expired from not being applied. The website is always "unavailable at this time" when I attempt to enter. This is ongoing and xfinity continues to make it nearly impossible to activate the discount. I have spent hours on their app, on the phone, and emailing employees as instructed at the store.
      I pay 88$ month and it should have been discounted since March 2023.

      Pushed out an installation of wifi to a new build apartment complex. How can there be zero technicians available after begging me up to upgrade the plan over the phone? It's unreal how this monopoly gets to do whatever they want like a local utility. I've paid tens of thousands of dollars to this "service" yet rarely ever feel like a customer. I see why it's the worst rated business this side of the Atlantic ocean.

      Xfinity promised me a 20% reduction in my monthly internet service. But the rate mysteriously went back to the original rate after one month and they claimed that the promotional period ended. I have been unable to resolve this issue on my own. I cannot cancel the service without incurring a steep penalty. I would like to cancel my subscription and walk to another service provider.

      I just can't begin to tell you how bad the xfinity website is. I've worked in IT for over 30 years, and truly - the Xfinity website is one of the absolute worst I've ever seen. It's hard to find things, it's slow, it can require 3-4 logins per session as you navigate, it errors out ALL THE TIME, I just tried to log in and it literally took about 7 minutes to get the two factor login code. So, so ridiculous.
      It's as if absolutely no one at Xfinity is looking over their amazingly bad website, or no one cares. There's not even a place to find a place to tell them how incredibly bad your website is.

      Worst Customer service. Cannot help. Runs scams on customers. Run up 300-500 dollar bills and shut you off. See the error in the billing but the only way they can fix is if you catch up your bill so the payment can be sent back. THen they put you on hold till you give up. This company needs to be investigated and shut down.

      My internet service suddenly disconnected on Friday, August 25. I discovered that the wire coming into the house had disconnected from the telephone pole outside the house. Xfinity scheduled a technician to come on Tuesday, August 29, but no one came. However, Xfinity lied and told me that they had, but no one was at home. This is an outright lie.

      I changed the TV services and as and told internet would not change.
      Was unlimited data to day have msg saying 10 was added to bill over used.
      Called and talked to supervisor and was told pick up a modem and would save $10 from store and would add notes to was ready when got there.
      Not true again. Was no notes.
