My recent interaction with an agent from Xfinity's ACP department left much to be desired. The context of my inquiry pertained to a lack of transferred information during a previous interaction; I explicitly asked, "Why wasn't the necessary information transferred when they moved me to your extension?"Unexpectedly, while I was still in the process of posing this question, the agent abruptly ended the call. The abrupt termination of our conversation was not just unprofessional, it further diminished my confidence in Xfinity's overall customer service. In this experience, and many others with Xfinity, it seems that a lack of quality customer service is an recurring issue. To exacerbate matters, the actual service provided was also unsatisfactory. This combination paints a poor picture of a company that should prioritize its customer base.In summary, Xfinity's ACP Department's substandard customer service and disappointing overall service need to be significantly improved.

Comcast opted me into online billing without permission and without notification and then used an email that does not and never has existed to send my bills to. As a result I had no idea what my charges were and when they raised rates. Their online login did not work and their customer service machine hung up on me 3 times. I was refused to speak to a person. I looked up the email of an executive to email my issues and was referred to a customer service expert. Despite my proving I had never authorized email billing they were using a nonexistent email address they refused to rectify anything!!!

First and foremost, what a PITA to cancel Comcast Business. I am not even in a contract, and I am paying month to month. They are charing me $500/month for 900MB service over coax. I called the main number and some Indian who can't even speak English tried to sell me more services. I hung up on them cause I could not understand anything. I found a number on REDDIT and called. I spoke with Rashaud about cancelling my service. He tries to sell me additional services. Like Bro, I just told you that I already have internet with another ISP. Finally, he understands, then he tells me that it takes 30 days to cancel, and I have to pay for those 30 days, even though the modem is disconnected. Like WTF? I am not in a contract. He claims there is an agreement, that agreement expired several months ago. I never renewed anything. They want another $500 bucks to cancel. This is robbery. I hate this company so much. They are always down, it's difficult to reach anybody NORMAL because you always end up with an incomprehensible idiotic Indian. And I am getting charged for services that I am not using. How is this legal?

Xfinity internet is the worst company. I came up to **************** to care for my mom and called Xfinity about temporary internet service for 4 months. Asked several times if there was going to be a termination fee to cancel and was told no. Paid with auto pay every month. Went to cancel today and said there was a $100 termination fee no matter what! They said they would not cancel my service unless I paid it today, finally got them down to $50 but so mad that I even had to pay that. If you need internet definitely don't go through Xfinity.

Xfinity has the most unfriendly, unempathetic customer service and the most unprofessional technicians. I have not had any access to WiFi, an essential item for me since I work from home, for the past five days. It takes forever to schedule a technician to come down here. And when they do, they never do so on time, and they always interrupt my work meetings making me look highly unprofessional. Today, a technician was scheduled to come, but when he did, he just sat in my apartment garage for 20 minutes, and then pulled away without even coming upstairs (my apartment concierge can confirm). I tried to call Xfinity to report this, and they were so unapologetic and incompetent. They finally sent the technician back, and I had to interrupt a work meeting. My lack of WiFi has been an impediment to my work in general, but the irreverence of these lackluster technicians severely worsens the situation. And when they do arrive, all they do is reset the modem (as if I have not tried that a million times) and don’t offer to replace it. Felt a sense of relief cancelling their services. Could give zero stars if I could.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Had an incident over vacation, lost all of our wallet, cards, etc. reached out via live chat (because phones would never get answered) and requested a 2 day extension on payment in order to wait on a new card, because multiple people in our household work from home and we can’t afford to lose internet. I was assured this was done and the agent even found a discount to apply for me! We got disconnected, I chatted back in to confirm the changes were made. The agent confirmed the extension was made and that I had to pay $32 up front for something in order to activate the lower rate. I explained I did not have my cards, etc. and she kept pushing for it and said “can’t you borrow it from friends or family?” Which was very odd coming from customer service. I ended the chat. This morning, got up and service is disconnected. I tried to call, to no avail, and then chatted in again. Explained the situation, the agent informs me “the promise of extension was made by the west division, this account is in the northeast division.” Makes no sense, these “divisions” are never alluded to or claimed when chatting, but I digress. Finally they look into it and say they will help. They begin pressing for the one time charge - the same charge that was $32 last night - but for $9.94 this time. She assures me she’s working with a supervisor to restore service, reluctantly I tell her that once service is restored I will fill out the form and one-time $9.94 payment with my daughters card (and her approval). She says, and I quote, “please be assured service is restored.” And sends me the form to fill out. I fill it out, pay, and she disconnects. Took $10, didn’t restore service, and disconnected. Finally get in touch with someone on the phone who informs me they can’t do extensions (this is 4 hours later by the way) and that “chat agents can’t promise these things.” So why did they then? The miscommunication & CS is horrible, all around super scammy red flags

Horrible business practice. Advised one thing by customer service representative and then consumers are held responsible, totally disregarding the misleading information presented by one of their employees! I receive disability benefits and am stuck with one year contract and automatic payments that I cannot afford. Initially contacted this corporation to cancel services but was promised a reduced rate that now is getting higher…help me find resolve!
