1 starthis is the worst company, they will not drop off wireless box to ne as they sent out the wrong product and then they want someone to come in my house to set up which i dont need to. I can do it myself. been dealing with this for a week now.Review fromBrendan D

1 starComcast Xfinity Mobile is the biggest criminal organization I've ever come across, and this is the first time I've ever filed a complaint to the BBB. I was charged $77.04 5/17/23 and $64.14 6/16 for xfinity mobile when I didn't have an active service. I've called them 17 times to dispute these charges, I've spoken to supervisors, and have been informed many times that the charges would be reimbursed, and there's been no refund. I requested a physical address and email address to make a written complaint, I was told they don't have a physical or email address to send complaints, instead, everything is handled over the phone. They don't even add notes to my account when I call in to dispute charges. I disputed the charges with my credit card company and the next day I received an email from Xfinity Mobile saying my account is past due. They will send me to collections if I don't pay the bill. 1 starWe have internet service with comcast for several years now. We are enrolled in automated billing, every so often we notice that our monthly bill get increased by significant amount without giving us any notice.
Every time I have to call Comcast, which is a nuisance. There system will not let me connect with a live agent, insisting that I use their automated response process.
After a while the call automatically gets disconnected.
It is extremely frustrating, and one of the worst customer service I experience.
They have no respect for their customers time. It appears that they want to make more money by cheating their customers, and hope to make the process of reaching out to them so painful to discourage people to reach out to them.Review fromKrissy c

1 starI would like to give this company a -10 stars. I recently moved back to Canada and I got a Canadian phone plan to save on money. Once I tried to put the sim card in it says not supported. I call Xfinity again to get it unlocked. I got an email saying the phone is unlocked, so I try the Canadian sim and it says it's locked. Thinking I need to delete my e-sim I delete it and I had no service and the Canadian sim still doesn't work. I go to the mall close to me because I don't have a working phone or anybody to call to help. I sat in a store for 2 hours trying to get service back to my phone. once I get Xfinity on the phone again they told me i need to pay off my phone. So I pay 300$ to get it unlocked. Then I ask for it to be unlocked. They said it is and I need to call they said it is and I need to call apple fro help. I call apple they said the phone is unlocked but the PROVIDER is locked to Xfinity, and they need to unlock it. I have been calling everyday for a month creating tickets trying to get it unlocked and they keep saying it's going to get unlocked but the tickets are dismissed. On top of them straight up lying to me repeatedly they are charging me 5$ a day because I am not in the country. I am now stuck with paying them a bunch of money and not being able to get it unlocked to use a Canadian sim, and when I call they just hang up on me. I would just like to use my phone without being charged extra everyday.Review fromJanet G

1 starI've been scammed by Xfinity, I can't believe they can get away with this...I called just to troubleshoot my remote for my TV and the CS rep scammed me by telling me if I move my landline (which I don't use, it was just bundled with my internet and TV service as a triple play) to a cell phone I would get a discount on my "new triple play" and wouldn't pay for the phone or the service as there is a promotion and it would actually lower my overall cable bill. Well guess what? Not only am I getting a bill for the cell service, it somehow messed up my cable/internet bill where they almost canceled my service and when I tried to reinstate my old cable/internet plan, they said it didn't exist anymore and I had to pay $50 more! Then I get my cable/internet bill and there is an addition charge for $54 dollars for "the changes I made". I DIDN"T MAKE ANY CHANGES - Xfinity screwed it up, yet I have to pay for it and spend HOURS on the phone to try and resolve it. All they do after many hours on the phone is give me a $30 credit. The best part is now the mobile dept (of course they don't talk to each other) says I only had 30 days to return the "free phone" - although I was told I had 24 mo to cancel the service and now I have to pay for the phone!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT. You'd think with cable companies hemorrhaging customers they would care about losing a customer, but nope. I'm done and I hope someone reads this review and knows not to trust the CS agents!!Review fromRebecca C

1 starI started services with this company in early August. Prior to beginning services they said I had a fee from a previous account so I paid it. The I installed services they had a hard time getting my services started first they gave me a modem that did not work then they couldn't figure out where my account should have been. Eventually we got the account activated.
Weeks later I get a phone call wondering if I was going to turn in my equipment. I advised that I was still using it and had no plans to turn it in. Apparently they had added my name and number to the previous tenants account and were trying to collect her past due balance from me. So they released her private information to me. They told me that I couldn't have service here because the previous resident had a past due balance. That I would have to bring my lease to prove I wasn't her.
I originally called because I had not gotten a bill. First they kept saying my account was for an address i had never lived at. After spending an absorbent amount of time arguing about that they finally agreed that i did not in fact live at this random address they were assigning me. Only then to be advised they were shutting my account down because of the fees I paid on the account I had already paid fees on. They said it was a mistake but that my account was inactive so I had to sign a new contract. Keep in mind my account was working fine when I called in I just wanted to pay a bill.
Now I had to sign a new contract and was assured no interruption would occur, but it did and after spending a grand total of 5 hours on the phone a signing yet another contract the internet was turned back on.
In less than a month I have had to sign 3 contracts. My services have been interrupted and someone else's private information has been released to me.Review fromNickiesha H

1 starI have my internet package with Xfinity which is a subsidiary of comcast and I hate them! From I signed up a year ago I’ve been having issues, constant outages even though I pay for an enhanced internet package. I work from home and constantly gets disconnected from zoom due to internet outage! When I report an outage I am promised an amount for reimbursement however it was never honored.Review fromJoseph C

1 starThis company should be shut down. Sent a tech to my place and tech advised me that Xfinity stated to replace modem. Tech replaced modem and Xfinity is trying to charge for tech visit. Xfinity could have advise that modem needed to be replaced and I could have went and got the modem myself. Have to leave one star as this company deserves no starsReview fromTyler D

1 starAfter literally years of attempting to resolve an ongoing issue with being overcharged I am beyond disappointed with the wildly irresponsible, lazy and dishonest practices of this organization. After overcharging my account for literally over a year, I located the issue and canceled service. Through this process the company acknowledged there was an issue and assured me it would be resolved. A manager was due to review the case and I agreed that I would pay final bills from the money they owed me. However, the managers never replied and after additional attempts to resolve the concern to no satisfaction, I gave up on the issue, so as to not spend even more of my time with a completely disjointed and irresponsible organization. Well a while later the collection calls started. I was honestly shocked since after the amount I owed them vs what the owed me they still were in the deficit by over $1,000. This began the litany of conversation explaining the issues to disinterested collecting agencies, who multiple times said that despite my request to speak with someone from Comcast about this issue, to open an investigation, that they will not call their customers back. This made it very clear that this was an organization that was only trying to prey on individuals and would take no responsibility for their actions. I wonder how many people they have filed derogatory credit filings against when they are completely unwilling to resolve reasonable requests for investigations into their own mishandling? Likely countless, and I am one of them. Well, I will not bend to their disdainful practices and I will be taking appropriate action due to the loss of time, negative credit remarks and irresponsible handling of my case. I’m open to resolving this issue amicably, yet due to this company’s track record I highly doubt they will be monitoring this review nor have the decency to respond with the intent to actually solve the problem. 5 starsThey have deactivated my account, not suspend, but deactivate it they will not allow me to port my number over they would not unlock my cellular devices which are paid in full. No (Supervisor) won’t get on the phone to talk to me every day they say they put in a new ticket to request my device been unlocked and they never do they leave me on hold for minutes at a time and no issue is resolved. No one won’t tell me why my account was activated versus suspended, everyone has been very rude to me and don’t have any information to give me and my devices has been locked since Saturday and today is Thursday and then I got an email saying that pretty much although my devices are paid in full they request to deny me to unlock my device because my billing is not in good standing although my device is fully paid off
