I ordered a 12-pack of energy drinks off Amazon and it came damaged and leaking all over in the box. Amazon requested that I take a picture of the damage with a piece of paper showing the account holder and date which I happily complied with. Amazon then advises me that the damage doesnt warrant replacement or refund because the item could have been used. An unopened 12-pack of energy drinks could have been used? There is nothing logical about this decision. Amazon is basically openly stealing from its customers and gets away with it. As previous comments have said and I would wholly agree we should just be buying local or from places that stand behind their products and delivery methods.

Very upset with Amazon. My aunt has been gifting me a prime membership as a birthday present for several years. This year she was told that she could not and that she had to purchase a gift card in that amount. When I tried to use the gift card to renew membership, I was informed that Amazon has a policy that does not allow membership renewals via a gift card.

On prime day I ordered an Amazon fire tablet for kids at a $90 discount. The next day I noticed the wrong address. As the site states that I may be able to change the address if the item (which was backorder till 08/7/23) was charged prior to a "shipping soon " status which it was. I reached out to their preferred method of cs which is chat were I inquired about the issue and was told not to worry that they would change the address and be right back. When I next checked in the chat had been closed and I received an email stating that after the item is purchased for security reasons they can not change the address if id like to change it I would need to cancel and reorder. I chose not to as I have a change of address with the postal service to ensure my protection in this. When I checked on my account the item had been canceled by the representative without my approval or knowledge. I then spent 5+ hours requesting the customer ******************** teams assistance and was told the only recouse is to have me reorder the dice at full price and then receive, an unconfirmed returned amount for the issue. I am past the point of caring about the return as the calls went on when telling the agents to please refer to me as *** as I am trans non binary the agents would continue to purposely berate and misunderstanding me no matter the amount of times that I request to be addressed as just ***. This was including the suprovisors and the escalations teams that I spoke to over this time. I'm truly disappointed and just am not sure of what to do next honestly.

Not sure when Amazon changed but their new thing is stealing money from customers and their poor lack of customer service is astounding to say the least. They are withholding nearly a $300 refund for items that were returned to them. UNBELIEVABLE.

I don't know...personally, I have Amazon eating out of my hand. They really go out of their way to appease their customers. I almost hate to admit it b/c I don't like what it portends when a company gains the type of footprint Amazon holds. In my experience, they go *so* over the top in terms of satisfying the customer that you really you'd have to just be a professional complainer to find much to take umbrage with.Again, the strong caveat to me are the social implications of one company having that much sway, but if there's fault with Amazon on a relative scale compared to other companies it competes with and just about any company frankly, it's certainly not their their service.

Amazon sucks! Buyer beware!! They DO NOT stand behind the products they sell!! I ordered a gaming computer case, it arrived damaged but luckily isnt complete garbage, so I can still use it.. I contacted Amazon and asked for a partial refund because who wants to pay full price for damaged products?! ******** Best Buy, and all other stores discount damaged products, but not Amazon! Not in my experience.. they do absolutely nothing about it! Amazon is complete garbage!! They refused to do anything!! They have no business ethics!! If an item is damaged you discount the item! Please be careful giving Amazon your money!!! They clearly do not care about their customers just about the money they get! Ive reached out to Amazon about this issue 3 times!! And every time they refuse to help! Amazon has lost my business forever!! They need to be held accountable!!

Amazon is marketing Lightening deals or % off list prices that are not accurate, making you think youre getting a deal. For example - RING 8 piece alarm Regular Price- $249.99 Amazon list price- $339.00 Amazon 41% discount- $199.00.This is false, and innacurate.

Amazon has become a total fraud. Bait and switch. Prime membership means nothing. They list items and delivery times to get you to spend your money and then change the committed delivery date after you order. I ordered a 900 dollar phone because the delivery was 2 days later. I received a confirmation email that the delivery would be July 14th. I go into the website to check orders and it says delivery is July 17th. I asked to speak with a manager to file a complaint. After being on hold a supposed manager who would only give me the name ****** told me there is no way to file a complaint within amazon. I was given a BS answer that my prime store card was declined even though I chose 12 payments at 0 interest and had a backup card that was being charged for the full amount. That is more fraudulent activity. Don't trust anything Amazon tells you. I cancelled my order and will go elsewhere and pay an extra 100 dollars for the same product because I can't trust Amazon. I didn't ask for anything but the product I ordered to be delivered when promised.

The company Amazon has incompetent drivers who can not follow package instructions. They either leave it at the wrong address, wrong porch, or try to deliver to a business or *********** after business hours. Then customer service is difficult to reach on the phone, and they are from foreign countries and difficult to understand. **************** personnel are at times poorly trained and do not want to deal with your issue. Amazon needs to provide better service for what they charge their customers.

There are 2 things that make Amazon terrible: the site, and the customer service. It's so aggravatingly difficult to find anything on the site (whether items or info), if it were organize randomly it would be easier. The only way it could be this bad is if it's by design. When it comes to sending a message (even simple site feedback), the site suggests useless page after useless page. Then, before you can send a message, you must first deal with an AI which presents the *same* useless suggestions, wasting yet more time. When you finally get to chatting with people, you'll go through at least three (if not a half-dozen) CS reps who will transfer you to someone else who can "better help" so that you won't be reviewing them when you get to the exit survey.Just use *****
