I have been a long time member of Amazon Prime. I used to place orders and always received them within 1-2 days. Once the pandemic hit, it apparently gave businesses an excuse to slack off on customer service. The 2 day guarentee changed to a 2 day approximate, and we would get items that ran a day or 2 late once a month or so. Back in August 2023 I ordered 2 laptops, not a cheap order it was about $2700. They were both ordered from the same amazon store and delivery to the same address. On day 2 one laptop arrived, but not the other. Although it was odd since they should have shipped together I let it slide since my account said it was delayed in transit to be delivered the next day. I contacted them on chat at the end of day 3 when it said delayed in transit again. They promptly lied to me and said it was in the system and would be dropped off on day 4. At the end of day 4 I was told after a very lengthy chat with 2 CS reps that "they didn't know where the item was but not to worry this happens sometimes" I told them I was going to be out of town on business over the weekend but the amazon store still had the item in stock saying it could be there the next day. They said they couldn't do that because the other one had shipped even though they didn't know where it was. They said there was nothing they could do just give it another day. So day 5 comes no delivery CS reps 5 and 6 both lie to me but I finally get CSR 6 a "supervisor" to "put a stop on the order and refund my money withing 48 hours" I ordered the same item from ******** and received it in less than 2 days. The refund that was supposed to be returned in 48 hrs took CS rep ** on day 14 to finally process the refund. I saved all of the chat logs and highlighted where CS reps would tell me that the last rep lied to me on 5 different occassions. Amazon is not so prime anymore. ******** rocked my delivery in about 36 hours though.

The card that gets charged for my amazon prime membership expired and I had unfortunately not updated it to the new card in time, so instead of amazon contacting me by phone or email, they charged a random card that I had used to purchase something a long time ago. That card is linked to a checking account I don't really use anymore so I was overdrafted and got a $30 overdraft fee from the bank. The bank wouldn't refund since the prime charge was legitimate so I went on to amazon's online customer service chat to see if they could help. One woman passed me to a supervisor named ******. ****** apologized and said that she would refund August's charge to the card that shouldn't have been used and to make up for the $30 bank fee, she would refund me for **** and July's charges as well. Obviously I was at that point a happy customer, until... Two weeks later and not one refund had been received. So I call this time, instead of using the online chat. I don't know the name of the man I talked to, but after placing me on hold twice, he lets me know that even though HE COULD SEE the convo I had with ******, he couldn't honor her promise because it was "against policy". I can't believe he was able to see the convo I had where a supervisor stated that she'd refund me and was still unwilling to resolve the issue. I was so disgusted I cancelled my account with them. Honestly, I hardly watch anything on prime video nor do I really order anything anymore, so my membership won't be missed. That company doesn't deserve a single dime from anyone if that's how it's going to operate.

I have been waiting for August 24, **** for Amazon to issue a $103.74 refund for an undeliverable item that is solely in Amazons responsibility. Amazon engaged ***** the most inefficient carrier in ***************** to finalize the delivery which never arrived. According to the Amazon app, Amazon indicates that Amazon is already fully aware of this issue, issues ashallow apology for the inconvenience, and misrepresents that a refund will be issued within 5 business days. Amazons app further advised me to contact it again to resolve this matter. In my two attempts today, I again engaged with Amazon customer service agents located in *************** who hung up on me. I have yet to receive a refund that Amazon professes to fulfill. I consider Amazons insistence to file the further red tape in an Incident Report to be an insult and another demonstration of Amazons abysmal customer service. Its unfortunate that *********************** customer service agents, captured by *********************** implementation and reliance on impersonal technology, are impotent to treat Amazons customers as human beings. One can only predict that Amazons customer service will be further downgraded as Amazon futilely advances into artificial intelligence.

Amazon signed me up for Prime without my knowledge or consent. When I called and asked what happened, they told me that I must have forgotten that I signed up. It happened in the middle of the night when I was asleep.

I had ordered a radio for 400 on their site but later decided to cancel. Unfortunately, they never processed the cancellation but the funny thing is that I never received the item and I still had to pay 400 for it. I've tried everything and they keep rejecting my attempts. This is terrible service, how can you lose my package and have no information on what happened to it? How is this my responsibility. I feel like I got scammed.

Amazon shipping is horrible, always late or not giving updates. Horrible to their carriers, I know because my hubby is a carrier and they caused an issue which dropped his rating. They are not clean abuse employees. I can go on if you would like, thanks.

I am trying to sign the company I work for up for Business Prime, but I keep getting the error message "It looks like there's some unusual activity on your Amazon Business account. Please contact customer service, or try again later." - every time I contact customer service, they say its being investigated and I will be contacted in 24hr, but they never contact me. I have been trying since Friday (9/8), today is Wednesday (9/13) - I have already contacted them 3x and no one helps me to sign up. Terrible customer service, the last person I talked to, I asked to talk to a manager and they simply ended the conversation. I am going to all social medias to make this complaint until Amazon will help with this.

I have made a purchase with Amazon and my packages were all lost, but the tracker stated that it was delivered to a safe place, but not my home. I reported it to Amazon's agents with customer support and I was told multiple lies from all agents and I have yet to receive my package, nor the credit they promised for my inconvenience. I will no longer purchase anything from them.

This company has unequivocally poor respect for customer service, so much so the company refuses to post their contact information on their website so there's no way to verify their real phone number other than creating an account on their site which requires submitting personal information and completing a unnecessary task.We purchased an item that was advertised as something bigger than it actually was when it arrived. Due to this we wanted to return it, however we can't contact Amazon prime due to there not being a number listed ANYWHERE on their site. We received a number from a third party website, however its hard to trust a website that doesn't belong to the company in question. This number is also a IVR which requires you to speak into the phone what issue you're having, but it's a waste of time and we could NOT reach a live agent to process the return over the phone and refund our money.Amazon forced us to process the return online, when not a year or so ago we could speak to someone who could process the return much more efficiently, as online returns is a waiting game and you can't get a instant refund.Amazon may have convenient positives but they do not care about less technically savvy consumers and its an insult to us because we shouldn't have to create an account and disclose personal information all to get a number to call Amazon. And trusting a third party website to provide Amazons number, which could be false, is a security issue.A company should have no issue disclosing their contact information, for cost cutting or any other reasons. Two thumbs down.
