      This is the absolute worst pest control company I have ever engaged. They knocked on our door with a “neighborhood offer” which was not disclosed to be a 12 month contract.

      Despite conning me into a long term agreement, the company itself does not follow through on their own obligations. They do not show up when scheduled, treat my neighbors house instead of mine, etc. When they do show up to the right address they are here less than 10 minutes despite the report suggesting they applied multiple different treatments/products.

      They won’t let me cancel despite the many many issues I’ve had with them. Downright scam behavior.

      I have requested Aptive to cancel my services many times, via email, and informing the scheduled service person. They insisted I call and provide a reason. I do not have to provide a reason and it is the right of the consumer to cancel without providing a reason. They are simply making it very hard for customers to cancel.

      I signed up for a agreement. The salesman told me that all my neighbors, and that I could cancel anytime. Service rep came our immediately but only did minimal work outside the home. They call to set up another appointment and I thought the cost was too high for the minimal work they did. I said I wanted to cancel, but they said I could not do that unless I paid a $199 cancellation fee. And if I did not pay, they would send a claim to a collection agency. I started and canceled the service in October and just now received a notice this January from a ***************** that I owed $199. A Scam to get you started and they you have to pay them to cancel.

      Just like the cases in many other complaints, a young college salesperson came to my door in June this year and talked me into signing up their mosquito pest control service, for half price, cancel anytime.. I didn't have time to go over all the terms in the contract, but the salesman said they would email me details. The salesperson also promised me that they will do many things. The technician just came to my house and spent a couple of minutes spraying the solution on the base of the patio/house wall {smelled like water}, and setting up a cheap mosquito trap. When I came back outside in less than 10 minutes the van was gone , he was gone... None of the promises made by salesman were done, not even the promised knock on the door or text that he was finished. Fearing that I had been scammed, I checked to see if any work had actually been done, then drove around the neighborhood looking for Van or salesman, but they were nowhere to be found. With no invoice, email, text, or even the name of the company, I stopped payment. After contacting Aptive, they claim they had the wrong email address, but they are still charging me a $199 cancellation fee.

      I canceled my service in August 2023 I continued getting billed $199.00 for service not provided. I was told in November I would receive a credit back to my card and now they say no because of early termination fee. I cancelled my account for bad service or no service. I have on camera such bad service is why I cancelled.

      - It was agreed to use Aptive to remove mice from the dwelling in May, 2023.
      - Aptive communicated they would set various traps and bait stations within and around the dwelling to address the issue.
      - With the first appointment, I had to provide the ladder for the technician to use so they could access the above crawl space. I also had to show the technician how to set a snap trap.
      - Aptive communicated they would have a technician out within the next two weeks to set-up up bait stations around the dwelling. Aptive never made good on this commitment to set bait traps.
      - Six to eight weeks later Aptive arrived for the second treatment, only to spray for bugs which was not the reason we were working with Aptive. The technician did not do anything to treat for mice which was the reason we were using Aptive.
      - I contacted Aptive after that second treatment to cancel their service.
      - Aptive proceeded to charge me a $199 cancelation fee, which I disputed with Aptive.
      - As part of the dispute I attempted to contact the local office. They wouldn't answer the calls and they never returned my message.
      - I reached out to Aptive via, email to dispute the charge and on 08/29/23 I asked to have the issue escalated to management and Aptive did not respond.

      For starters the company sends these young college aged people to sell the service without giving the potential customers full disclosure of the contract or terms. Not to mention that there was no mention of the contract being 18 months and a $199 cancelation fee. Totally deceptive practice. I will not recommend this company Aptive and will also file a complaint with the *********************** in my state.

      My first contact with this company was around August 2023, I paid them exactly $99 for a service pest extermination. They only came once and I noticed that the service provided did nothing to help with pest control. In fact, it only made it worse. Being as such, I called to talk about it, and I just decided it was in my best interest, to cancel the service. Upon requesting to cancel the service, I was told that I would have to pay $199 of a cancellation fee to do so. I feel that this is unfair, because if you as a company promise to provide a good service, and to be courteous, and actually answer your phone, you should do the job well every time. This was not the case, and every single time Ive dealt with them sense has been nothing but a mess. I honestly dont know which number to call, because whenever I call, it always sounds like the number is busy, or they cant take any phone calls, or the number goes straight to voicemail. How can a upstanding company, do business like this with valued customers? I would like a refund for the $199 and I would also like for the company to resend the notice that I was sent to collections over this for. Theres no reason I should be sent to collections over bad unfaithful, unscrupulous customer service.

      I signed up for a agreement. The salesman told me that all my neighbors, that was a lie but I figured I would give it a shot. First appointment went well, Technician explained everything he did in and outside house. Then they would call call me 1 day notice. I would not be their and they say they were complete, how can they when they never entered my house. Then twice they charged me for treatments that I don't even know whether they came or not So I cancelled and they claim that I owe them $537.00 and referred me to a collection agency
