      I called on Feb 10 2025 to end service with Aptive Environmental as I had moved out of my house, they notified me there would be a cancellation fee of $199 which I agreed to I sent away a service technician from Aptive on Feb 14, letting them know that I ended my service.A service technician arrived unannounced on Feb 18 to service the property. I do not have any texts or confirmation that this service happened, it occurred without my consent on a property which I no longer own. I was then charged for this service on Feb 20.On Feb 21 I emailed Aptive customer service to have them waive the service charge of $169. They refused as the service had already been completed, they then deleted my Aptive account, removing my ability to access invoices or proof of service. They also let me know that I was still on the hook for the $199 cancellation fee. I am currently in the middle of a lengthy email thread with their customer service department, who continue to reiterate that they have proof of service and don't seem to acknowledge my efforts to cancel service, nor that they serviced the property without the consent of the new owner. It has been very strange. I have disputed the service charge with my bank but would appreciate any support from the BBB.

      The Amount of money I paid for the service. Appointment cancelled twice. Getting paid and not honoring the contract. I wish not to have the service anymore!!!

      The business is a complete scam, the products didn't work, they lied about free follow up appointments and then charged me again.

      They refuse to cancel and run costumers around in circles.

      We contracted with APTIVE Environmental for bug and rodent cleanup. I was concerned that the service would continue to bill past 2025 and the sales rep stated he would have a cancellation put on file as of March 2025. The sales rep stated that he would not use my name as a reference which I found out their company is using our name to sell the service in our township. I have also since found out that Aptive is no longer allow to sell door to door in our township due to deceptive and harassing tatics. I sent in writing a cancellation after my last monthly service in Feb 2025 would serve as my last service and to remove my bank account information per their salesman. Upon sending written confirmation, I was told that it is a 12 month contract and they would charge a cancellation fee and that the sales rep signed us for the premium package not the basic as he stated. In speaking with their customer service rep *******, I disputed the information and ask to speak to a supervisor (*****). ***** would not provide any last names and she stated that she would not close my account and that she would send someone to my house in 6months to finish the service. I ask that they not come on my property ever again as this harassment. I also requested to have my bank account taken down off of their site and confirmation and I would not be paying any future bills. They refused to close my account but they have taken my access away for my account online so I cannot print any billing documents. I am requesting that they discontinue their billing as I am not paying any other bills and they are to stay off of my property. I am also requesting copies of all my invoices be sent to me in the event they are needed for a lawyer.

      Our contract with Aptive Environmental (Aptive Environmental **** ***** *** **** *****, Utah 84604 United States) ended almost a year ago now and I have asked the company several times to take our names off of their customer list and yet I continue to receive weekly or biweekly notices that my appointment is up and coming. They simply will not take my name off of their customer list. Their App and website doesn't provide any way for me to close or cancel my account; or even to cancel an appointment. Both platforms only allow the customer to reschedule and reschedule. The emails they send are the same way, only allow for a reschedule and nothing else. There's no phone number listed to contact anyone either. So the customer is left to messaging and emailing and all that has been done and I'm still receiving appointment dates.

      These people came to my house over the summer selling their pest control services. Said I would be billed monthly and receive service monthly. Fast forward to winter. I get charged monthly with no service. I call the company to cancel as this is the 3rd time this had happened. First call I called from my work number, I was told I have to call from the number on their files to cancel. I hang up and call from my cell, I get a chat box. I get to a human she literally says to me 6 to 9 times I understand but we can make an appt now. I understand but give us a chance. Blah blah blah. Then she gets a supervisor, same stuff. She tries telling me I signed up for a monthly contract. I said yes pay monthly getbserviced monthly, no every 60 to 80 days in the winter. I was told no service no billing. Then she says we can do by appt billing. I said no you had 3 chances I want a refund and service canceled. **** the supervisor tells me there's $190 fee to cancel. I said you've gotta be fkn kidding me. **** then rants on telling me not to speak to her that way. I said refund my money from February 4 or 6th. She said NO she won't refund And the service will NOT be cancelled until I pay the $190 cancel fee. I said this company is a scam I'm turning you into the better business bureau.

      This company came to my mother‘s home and said that she signed a contract via doc. You sign to an email address that does not exist and it to their company as a valid contract for lawn spraying maintenance. We made two attempts to cancel this contract and each time they told usthat we would have to pay a penalty to cancel the contract. However, when we looked at the contract because they forwarded it to us it wassent to an email that is not associated with myself or my mother. This is fraudulent this document that was made Docus signed and signed with my mother‘s name and initials was fraudulently signed. She’s a 78year-old woman. She does not have an email address. She doesn’t know how to open an email or do you sign or anything to that nature. I spent an hour on the phone today dealing with this company and all they want is money even though they’re facing the need forcancellation on a fraudulent fictitious contract. I still paid the money to stop the proceedings because they are harassing my mother.

There was no way out with the company they would not take responsibility for this fraudulent contract, even after the issue was brought up to a supervisor. Poor business practice of attempting to take advantage of elderly people.

      Let me be absolutely clear: my experience with Aptive Environmental has been nothing short of a nightmare. If I could give them zero stars, I would. From their aggressive sales tactics to their ineffective treatments and appalling customer service, ******************** has earned a place on my "never again" list.Their initial sales pitch was slick and persuasive, promising comprehensive pest control and a pest-free home. However, the reality has been drastically different. Despite repeated treatments, I've continued to have pest problems. And when I've contacted their customer service, I've been met with a frustrating mix of indifference, long wait times, and outright dismissiveness. They seem far more interested in signing new contracts than in actually resolving existing customer issues.The technicians themselves often seem rushed and poorly trained. On more than one occasion, they've failed to properly address the specific pest issues I've raised, opting instead for a generic treatment that does little to solve the underlying problem. To add insult to injury, Aptive's pricing is exorbitant for the level of service they provide. I'm paying a premium for what amounts to ineffective treatments and a constant headache. I've tried to cancel my contract, but they've made the process incredibly difficult, hitting me with cancellation fees and refusing to acknowledge my ************* short, Aptive Environmental is a company that prioritizes profits over customer satisfaction. Their high-pressure sales tactics, shoddy service, and ******* customer support make them a pest control company to avoid at all costs. Do yourself a favor and choose a different company you'll save yourself time, money, and a whole lot of frustration. I, for one, am counting down the days until I can finally be rid of them.

      On August 8th 2024 a sales agent from Aptive came to our door. The agent explained what pest they covered, the promotional cost for our initial payment, monthly payments, etc. He explained to me that if we wanted to cancel we would have to wait a few months since we got a promotional price, if we didn't wait it would be $199; after a few months it wouldn't be anything to cancel. We gave the treatments time to see if it worked, but we still have the same amount of gnats/daddy long leg spiders, little roaches, and ants when we moved into this home in June. My wife can make home made products & buy sticky traps and it'll do a better job than this company.

      My wife called in the beginning of January 2025 to cancel, she saw a bunch of reviews of people being charged the $199 cancelation; since my wife has experience in contracts and chargebacks she wanted to call first. However the lady she spoke with refused to speak with her about the account because she was calling from a different phone number. So I had to call which I did Jan. 28th... I explained the situation and how the sales agent promised we wouldn't pay a cancelation fee.. in not so many words she basically said it didn't matter what the sales agent said, we had to pay the $199 cancelation. At this point both me and my wife are extremely frustrated. I told her that we wanted a call back from a manager that was able to honor what we were verbally told, and that my wife would file complaints online.

      To my surprise I checked my bank account and the company charged us the $199 cancelation fee. Which is money for our power bill we now don't have. This is outrageous, not only were we lied to by the sales agent, we still have bugs, and now this company is charging us something we were promised we didn't have to pay. We have no notice of the company canceling either, no emails/no calls/no nothing...We want to be refunded the $199 cancelation fee, and no longer do business or be contacted again.

      I am writing to express serious concerns regarding fraudulent practices and misrepresentation by Aptive Environmental. The sales representative deliberately misrepresented both the company's services and cancellation policies during the initial sale. For the past three months, I have actively attempted to terminate my service. When I first tried to cancel, I was incorrectly informed that cancellation was only possible after a six-month commitment period. Now that I have fulfilled this supposed requirement, the company continues to deny my cancellation requests. Instead of honoring my cancellation, representatives repeatedly attempt to retain my business by offering price reductions and additional services. These offers are unwanted, as my decision to cancel is final due to: The product's failure to perform as promised. The company's deceptive business practices. The overall unsatisfactory customer experience. Of particular concern is the company's handling of payment information. While they provided a "personal portal" for account management, they have effectively trapped my credit card information in their system, providing no option to remove it or stop recurring charges. This combination of misrepresentation, refusal to honor cancellation requests, and restrictive payment practices appears to be deliberately designed to retain customers against their will.
