1 starSudden spike in utility billing, absolutely no explanation provided. The gas bill invreased over 95% across the community and we are trying to get reason for the increase. They keep parroting how the calculation is done, they wont give reason why it increased. Is it increase of consumption from X units to Y or increase of gas cost from A to B per unit? Nothing, simply hiding the truth.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

**** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to your concerns. To confirm, at your community, the gas bill is calculated by splitting the *************** bill among all residents based on the square footage of their unit. An increase in the community bill typically is due to an increase in gas consumption at the property. Since this is a community bill, we are not able to see exactly which units are using more gas than others. Rather, we only see the total gas used at the community as a whole. I am sorry for any confusion. Please note, there is a description of each of your utilities on the back of your Conservice statement. All statements are also available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromDiane H

1 starOvercharged on utility billing and absolutely no explanation or breakdown whatsoever. Our rental company states they do not have access to what is being billed and Conservice has no live agents to speak to over the phone. This company is a complete scam and after reading multiple class action lawsuits filed across the country against them I will be looking into the same.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

To clarify, our **************** Team can be reached by phone at ************** or through our website www.utilitiesinfo.com. **************** agents are available Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM ***************** time.In reviewing your account, I see you are billed according to your individual consumption. Conservice passes along the utility charges as received from the local utility providers. 1 starThey send bills out a few days before the end of the month then charge a late fee if they dont receive payment exactly on the first of each month. The very next day they send a new bill with a late fee added. Each month when I do all of my online banking transactions Ive started sending money to them not knowing the actual amount due just so I dont get charged a late fee.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I am sorry for the frustration. To clarify, bills are sent as soon as they are finalized. If you are not already, you can sign up for Ebills to ensure you receive the bill as soon as it is sent each month. Please note, all Conservice statements are also available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference.Additionally, if your payments are made to Conservice directly, there is typically a grace ****** after the due date before a late fee would be applied. We're also happy to review any late fees that *** be charged due to a Conservice error. We're happy to review your account and confirm information specific to your unit. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromLAURIE T

1 starRecently I was not billed properly for 2 months and did not know that until conservice decided to throw all charges on to one bill. $279 for water and sewage and trash service. Astronomical fees! This is unfair to someone who is trying to budget monthly bills. I'm not certain how a company is allowed to do this. TConservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I am happy to see you were previously in contact with our **************** Team in regards to your concerns. To confirm, Conservice processes and pays utility bills as received from the local utility providers. The utility bill amounts are then passed onto the resident. If we do not receive bills for a specific utility, you will not have charges for that utility that month. There may also be months where we receive multiple bills at one time. You can find more information about why this can happen here: *************************************************************************************************************************************. Please note, uilities are typically billed one month at a time, but we have billed for multiple service periods on your most recent statement to ensure there are no further delays in the service periods being billed. I'm sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromBrandon S

1 starWeve been living on the property for almost a year. I noticed last month my bill went up to over $300. I check this months rent because the water is included with my rent through this coming and for this month the bill is almost $700. Nothing changed since the time we moved in. To see my rent $3,100 because of the water bill is ridiculous. Either its a leak or theyre over charging. Ill have my lawyer look into this.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

******* - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team directly in regards to your concerns. To confirm, Conservice passes along the utility charges as received from the local utility providers. In reviewing your account, I see the water usage has increased over the last several months. A consistent increase in usage such as this can indicate a possible maintenance issue may be present in the home. If you have not already, please reach out to your property management to have maintenance check your home for any issues. If any issues are found, they will need to be fixed and then we would be happy to review your account for any possible adjustments at that time. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromLu D

1 starTERRIBLE COMPANY --- they make the billing confusing on purpose, they randomly change prices unjustifiably, and they charge fees for service before they even charge you for the services, my first month in my apartment they charged me a fee only, what on earth?? *****************.I'd like to know how my sewer went from $0.54 to $25, among others I'd also like to know how they list these double charges of "Water" and "water per sq ft" and then "trash" and "trash per sq ft"Conservice Utility Management & Billing

***** - I regret to see you have not contacted us directly in regards to your concerns. To clarify, at your community, you are not billed according to your individual consumption. You are billed a portion of the overall bill for the communitys water and sewer services as outlined in your lease. The total amount is divided among the residents based on their occupancy and square footage. The trash charge is calculated in the same way. This is why your charges will show "water" and "water per square feet" as it simply shows the breakdown between occupancy and square footage. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused. The water, sewer, and trash charges can vary from month to month depending on the total amount received from the local utility providers. With this billing method, if the total community bill increases or decreases, this will increase or decrease each resident's individual charges as well. Please note, those with more occupants or a higher square footage will receive a larger portion of the bill. There is a description of each of your utilities available on the back of your Conservice statement. All Conservice statements are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Additionally, any fees billed by Conservice such as the monthly service fee should be outlined in your lease. The monthly service fee covers processing and consolidating your charges onto one billing statement. It is similar to fees other utility or service providers may charge to provide similar services. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromKayla B.

1 starThe company I rent from switched over to conservice in the middle of November. Since January I have been paying for july-oct but as far as I am aware, the rental company did not use conservice before November. November through Feb absolutely makes sense as that is when they took over that job for the rental company. When I look at my receipts for the rental company, I can clearly see where the utilities were paid in full directly to the rental company. I am being charged a little over double the amount for utilities, half of which I have already paid according to what I can see on my login portal for that rental company. I don't know if this is just a mix up, or purposeful on conservices part, but it really feels like there's some miscommunication between them and the rental company I go though and I am suffering for it.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

***************** when Conservice begins billing for a community, we pick up the utility billing from where the previous company ended. If there is any overlap in the utility billing from the prior company and Conservice, we'd be happy to review this further and make any adjustments as necessary. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for further assistance.Review fromAugust W

1 starOpaque over-billing has been endemic for several years in the apartment building I have leased. Among other issues, charging $100/month for "gas" when I hardly use the stovetop, and the rest of the utilities are electric. Electric charges are often over $100, when nothing is being used buy LED lights (infrequently) and a fridge, which is rated to use no more than $15/month. When nearly 200 users give them a 1.04 average rating, I suspect there is some systematic fraud.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

********* - I am happy to clarify. The monthly service fee covers processing and consolidating your charges onto one billing statement. It is similar to fees other utility or service providers *** charge to provide similar services. Any other fees that *** be labeled as "rent" would be fees that come from your leasing office directly. I am sorry for any confusion. We're happy to review your account and confirm information specific to your unit. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.
