1 starOvercharged me 3x for my final bills at my rental home. Vacated the home for half the final month, and was still hit with a bill higher than any of the months I lived there througout 2 years. Called in, couldnt give me any answers regarding how or why I was being charged for this. Shady company, wouldnt doubt it if they end up being shut down.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Orion - I am sorry for your negative experience. We will follow up on this. To clarify, as a third-party utility management and billing company, we simply pass on any charges received from the local utility providers for your home. Each of these charges are based on your individual consumption. However, once a resident notifies their property they are moving, Conservice prorates the final bill based on previous consumption and billing history to ensure their account is closed in a timely manner. The proration is typically accurate since it is based on previous usage. In reviewing your final statement, I see there are charges covering multiple service periods which is why the total amount due is higher than usual. Since your Conservice account is now closed, any questions or disputes regarding your final bill can be taken up with your property management company directly. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromCharita R

1 starI am so confused as to how now every month since Ive resigned my lease with the property management company that does business with ConService my utility bill has been unavailable for one month and then I get a double bill. The first year I was here in my home my utility bill came monthly, and now all of a sudden the third party company they use cant seem to get my bill out monthly. January I was hit with a $441 double bill and now this month I got hit another double bill for $330! How can they do this and apparently reading their reviews this IS common practice for them. They are robbing us and get away with it. I seen there is a class action law suit against the company and I can totally understand why! Worst business practices EVER! I will be looking into filing a complaint with the BBB, not that it matters because they are not even accredited with them!Conservice Utility Management & Billing

******* - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, Conservice processes and pays utility bills as received from the local utility providers. The utility bill amounts are then passed onto the resident. If we do not receive bills for a specific utility, you will not have charges for that utility that month. There may also be months where we receive multiple bills at one time. You can find more information about why this can happen here: *************************************************************************************************************************************. Please note, utilities are typically billed one month at a time, but we have billed for multiple service periods on prior statements to ensure there are no further delays in the service periods being billed. I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. All provider bills as well as the Conservice statements are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromTanjenika J

1 starI wish I could give 0 stars . This company is charging me for services that have already been paid and cant explain why. I spoke with ******************* and they dont know why I am being charged extra for already paid for services. The girl on the call just kept repeating the same thing and would not let me speak with a manager. There is no reason I should have a 202 water bill when I have already paid.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Tanjenika - I am sorry to hear about your negative experience. We will follow up on this. In reviewing your account, I see one of the charges is coming from the leasing office directly and the other charge is coming from Conservice for the same service period. We're happy to review these charges further and look into making any necessary adjustments. Additionally, I am happy to see you are on the list for a supervisor callback. Supervisors are available upon request and will typically call back within 1-2 business days. You will be contacted within this timeframe. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromMerencia P

1 starI dont understand how Conservice has the authority to charge for any type of utilities when we run on Wellwater I have tried reaching out to Invitation Homes who partnered with Conservice, and Im still unable to get an answer from any party. I will be reaching out to the Lee county commissioners, ************ water management, and Invitation Homes/Conservice on how this is acceptable. I received the bill for $55 which has all these astronomical charges account set up account fee and one day fee of five dollars. Again explain to me how this is acceptable as I have not until now received any line of communication from the property management that this is taking place and now youre going to put this responsibility on tenants?Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Merencia - I regret to see you have not contacted our **************** Team in regards to your concerns. To clarify, Conservice is contracted through Invitation Homes to manage the utilities for your home. We simply bill according to the terms of your lease. Any fees that *** be passed along to you should be outlined in your lease as well.In reviewing your account, I see the only utility bill that has been passed along has been for the electricity. If a utility should be in a resident's name but we receive a bill for it, this typically means the resident does not yet have services in their name which goes against the terms of their lease. This is when vacant charges can occur. The ************** Fee is a flat fee charged due to processing the bill when it should have already been in the resident's name. Please see ******************************************************************************************************************************* for more information. We're happy to review your account and follow up on any other questions or concerns you *** have. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromJimmy O

1 starYour name is 100% true. Conservice, as in con man, thief, stealing, exploiting. They hung up on me the first 2 times then I got no help once I spoke with someone. This makes me dislike the apartment complex and management because they provided ** with this awful service. Don't move into the **** in **** to save money, the will only steal more money from you.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

1 starThis company has been TERRIBLE. They have been overcharging me on my water bill just because they can. They stated that they are taking estimates every month because my meter was not working properly but they never reported this issue to me nor ******************* so my water bill increased over $150 which I know is a complete scam. I stay in a one bedroom apartment so how is my water bill $264 its ridiculous. I have called them 2 months in a row, I have tried to speak with management NOBODY ever calls you back. I am beyond frustrated and annoyed by this company and the inaccuracy of their estimates. I want to take them to civil court and I willConservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I am sorry for the frustration. I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this and a supervisor has called you back in regards to your concerns. In reviewing your account, I see you are billed according to your individual consumption. However, anytime a meter read is not received, an estimate based on a unit average or property average takes place. In situations like this, it could be several months before an actual read is received and if no estimation is made, this could result in a large bill amount. To avoid this, we estimate the consumption until an actual read is received. Once we receive the actual reading from the meter, we evaluate if any overbilling or underbilling has taken place and make any adjustments as necessary at that time. Please note, estimations are indicated on your Conservice statement by an asterisk next to the start read and/or end read. All meter reads are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. I see you are currently on the list to be contacted again by a supervisor as requested. They should be reaching out to you within the next 1-2 business days. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromBarbara M

******* - I am sorry for the frustration. To clarify, billing methods can be different depending on the utility billing company. In reviewing your account, I see you are currently billed according to your individual consumption. In situations like this, it could be several months before an actual read is received and if no estimation is made, this could result in a large bill amount. 1 stari have tried multiple times to reach out to the customer service line and get an explanation as to why i was charged a *** and late fee for a transaction that i did not make. according to the representative i had autopay on which is true but i had paid my total bill in full prior to due date listed on the bill. it was then that an autopay transaction was attempted but ultimately failed because I HAD ALREADY PAID MY BILL. of course i had insufficient funds. the money was already debited out of my account. i have also had issues since September in regard to late fees that have been added to my account despite paying bill in full before due date. i have asked multiple times for a supervisor to reach out and i have not gotten a call back in over a week. i am requesting a refund for the *** fee and all late fee that were fraudulently charged to my account.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

**** - I am sorry for the frustration. In reviewing your account, I see two supervisors have attempted to call back but have been unable to reach you. If you would still like to speak to a supervisor, you can request one by contacting our *************************** at **************. A supervisor will be able to call you back within 1-2 business days from the date of the request.Additionally, I see the manual payment recently made was completed the day before the bill was due. Since the autopay was still set up during this time, the payment also drafted through autopay. Please note, per the autopay terms of agreement, "if I am enrolled for automatic payments and would not like a payment to be withdrawn from my bank account on my next due date, I must either cancel my enrollment or make a one-time payment 3 business days prior to the due date. If my bank account information needs updating, this also must be done 3 business days before the due date." Since the manual payment was made less than 3 days prior to the due date, the autopay still drafted. Since the payment was returned, a NSF fee and late fee were applied to the account. I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromNikki G

1 starThis service is really expensive. In my area I haven't found anyone paying as much as I do for water in my 1 bedroom apartment. Only people with this service in the area seem to be paying the most.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

1 starI really dislike the business practices from this company. We are being charged vacancy charges on time periods while we have already been living at this residence and was charged twice for the month of October. These people are crooks and will ******* anyone. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They will rob you blind and then blame the city utility provider or the property management. They also fail to post what utilities are due to the ledger that the resident is supposed to pay in a timely manner. i.e. they failed to post the utilities that were due in December/January and it skipped over to the next billing cycle thus paying double. This also happened for the month of November. These people need to be shut down. Its not the residents fault to have to pay double because a company doesnt want to do their job and post to a ledger monthly. Kinda amusing how this company is already under investigation and it made the news as well. Who knew..Conservice Utility Management & Billing
