1 starIf it had zero stars it would be zero o dont even want to give a star . I dont know how BBB is giving this company a B rating when there are NOTHING but complaints . This company is over charging dramatically!! Everyone in my neighborhood averages 60$ water/sewer bill and ours is running 225 with no washer and power over 400 with no washer/dryer. This cannot legal ! Conservice needs to be shut down PERMANENTLY! We will be talking to a lawyer to see what we can do about this company because as of now we have a lease that we cant break without owing money . Its highway robbery . This company should be ashamed of what they are doing to families !!! We have 3 children and never would have moved into this place if we knew how this service was going to be and seeing all these reviews we are not alone !Conservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I regret to see you have not contacted our **************** Team directly in regards to your concerns. In reviewing your account, I see you are billed according to your individual consumption as reported by the local utility providers. Conservice receives and processes the statements from the local utility providers and then pass along the charges as shown on the provider bill. If you believe there may be a maintenance issue in your unit causing the high consumption, you can always reach out your property management to have maintenance check your home for any potential issues. Please note, the provider bills as well as your monthly Conservice statements are available online at www.utilitesinfo.com for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromTiffany D

1 starConservice is a scam and should be investigated by the ***. How can you charge me over $1,000 for my electricity usage and unable to provide me with a clear read? I want an energy audit - what days do you see my ***** in usage - what are the hours. A normal utility company should be able to provide transparent reading. Conservice and my apartment building are working together to make up usage and charge me with it. I'm sick of this behavior. I'll be reporting them to my council member, attorney general, and state representative.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

1 starBased on tenant experiences from all over and within the states from **, **, **, **, etc, there are issues but continue to deny they're overcharging people for utilities. Their agents from chat to phone are incompetent as they can't update a phone # despite confirmation 5 different x, twice with the same person. They apparently called (again, the # that I told them not to call) without having left a message, which brings me to over three weeks of no follow up since first calling. I have pictures of my meter, and they're telling me they're reading 7600+ in a month, with a daily reading of ******* and 1300 on 8/3. We took a picture the day maintenance checked for leaks on 7/17 then after a bucket test on 8/5, and it read 2670. So in 10 days, we used nearly 5000 gallons? no way. The specific meter number itself is different than what's on my bill as well. My next step is to take this to an attorney. I don't know why complexes continue to use this service when they're scamming residents. They've had one class action suit for fraudulently collecting debt 2 years ago- look up ****** vs conservice. Now they have another that was supposed to go to court in 8/2023 related to inflated utility bills. Most people seem to not understand that paying >100$ or even 60$ monthly is insane for a 681sq foot apt, so conservice is taking advantage. I started to make it known to the residents so they can pay attention. I used to pay no more than 30$ in a 1000+sq foot apt with 4 ppl in it. Knowing costs have gone up, I looked up our specific gallon usage in the same county, and it was no more than 6000 with 4 ppl & 3000 with 2. Yet here, two ppl avg 7600 when neither of us are home often? Now my first question before I tour with an apt is whether they use conservice and decline if they do. Their service fee also went up from 4.30 monthly to 6.50 to generate these bills. Why are you charging the tenants a monthly fee for a service forced on us when you can't even get the readings correctly?Conservice Utility Management & Billing

*** - I am sorry for the frustration. I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team regarding your concerns. To confirm, residents that are individually metered are charged based on the readings sent in by the meter. If daily readings are available, it is possible for the readings to not check in on some days which would cause the usage to appear higher the next time it checks in. For example, if we receive a read on 08/01/24 but then do not receive another daily read until 08/15/24, the read will appear much higher as the consumption covered multiple days as opposed to one day only. I am sorry for any confusion.Additionally, it is possible for the raw reads on the meter to show differently from the raw reads sent electronically. In situations like these, the consumption should still show the same amount from month to month and day to day. I am happy to see you are currently working with our **************** Team in regards to your meter reads. Any further questions regarding the meter or the meter readings can be taken up with them directly. The monthly service fee covers processing and consolidating your charges onto one billing statement. It is similar to fees other utility or service providers may charge to provide similar services. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromJen R

1 starI don't know which state to complain under. I live in **. This company really needs to be investigated. I live in an apt building. Their water meter reader was reading the meter "wrong" and undercharging. Then everyone's bill skyrocketed. So much so that other residents called and were able to get a reduction. What is suspicious to me is that my water usage went up, as though I have been using more water when I have been in my apartment half the time the past two months due to travel. When I called, they wouldn't reduce my bill bc total utilities wasn't over $100. Then I'm told my bill is based off of the percentage I use in comparison to my neighbors. So if my neighbors were all incorrectly charged then by logic, so was I.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

*** - I am happy to clarify. At your community, you are billed based on your consumption compared to others at your community. We receive the bill from the local utility provider and bill you based on the percentage you use compared to the other residents at your community. For example, if you use 5% of the water used by all the residents, then you will be billed for 5% of all the water. The issue that occurred was not an error in your individual meter readings but was an issue on the water company side. The utility provider was underbilling the property for the water which caused underbilling to occur for all residents. Corrections were made on the recent statements which is why you noticed an increase in the charges. Billing should now be back to normal and no other adjustments should be necessary. Any concerns with your individual meter readings can be taken up with our **************** Team directly. I am sorry for any confusion. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for further assistance.Jen R

1 starI have had numerous issues with their service. #1 they claim to not receive the bills from the actual utilities Company on time to add to the monthly rent but yet they still charge a $9.99 service fee on the months they aren't billing for utilities, what is the service fee for if utilities aren't billed this month but doubled next month yet you still charge a service fee this month. #2 I had the Utility company (JEA) for years in the house I owned and the elec, water, sewer charge dates always matched, so why on my most recent bill from conservice does it show elec from 5/30-6/28 but water and sewer is 6/3-7/2, and why am i receiving ***** **** to pay in Sep? JEA doesnt get that far behind. JEA has the same dates for all 3 Elec, Water and Sewer. So what is Conservice doing behind the scenes to cause all of these changes to dates of service and billing?Conservice Utility Management & Billing

***** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, the monthly service fee should only be charged when utilities are also billed out to the resident. Due to this, the necessary adjustments have been sent to your property management to be applied to your portal. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Please follow up with your property management directly regarding these adjustment amounts. Additionally, Conservice passes along statements as received from the local utility providers. Utilities are typically a few months behind the due date in order to receive an accurate reading and to calculate the bill. The service periods listed on your Conservice statement are the same service periods listed on the bill received from the local utility providers. Please note, for your account, the provider bills received from JEA can be sent by email and can be requested through our **************** Team directly. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromTemeshia T

1 starI took my time to read everyones reviews and all of them are accurate. Conservice are scammers. Ive never seen a water company bill for two months and never show a break down of how much water was used. Paying a high a** water bill plus rent is insane. This company most definitely needs to be looked into. We dont even use that much water!Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Temeshia - I am happy to clarify. Conservice processes and pays utility bills as received from the local utility providers. The utility bill amounts are then passed onto the resident. If we do not receive bills for a specific utility, you will not have charges for that utility that month. There may also be months where we receive multiple bills at one time. You can find more information about why this can happen here: *************************************************************************************************************************************. Utilities are typically billed one month at a time, but we have billed for multiple service periods on your most recent statement to ensure there are no further delays in the service periods being billed. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please note, for your home, provider bills can be sent by email and can be requested through our **************** Team directly. 1 starWe were incorrectly charged for vacant water and vacant sewer at the apartment we live in. We pay our utilities to the city and to resolve this issue before we sent them proof of us paying our bills to the city and we did not get incorrectly charged for a few months. I am writing this review because we are being charged again for these same bills. I thought the issue wouldve been resolved after providing proof of payed bills but I guess this did not solve the issue. I whole heartedly believe this company should be investigated for intentionally creating statements with false charges. I have reached out to their customer support but have not been contacted again. After seeing countless dissatisfied customers on this review board it shocks me that my apartment complex uses this service and upper management of this company should take a strong look at their professional practices.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I am sorry for the frustration and to hear about your negative experience. To clarify, Conservice processes and pays utility bills as received from the local utility providers. We then pass along any bills received to the residents as necessary. If an additional utility bill is received from the local utility provider, additional vacant charges may occur on an account.I am sorry if you have had trouble getting in contact with our **************** Team. Please note, agents are available by phone Monday-Friday from 6 am to 6 pm MST. You can also reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com where we would be happy to assist you further. 1 starThis company is over charging for water and sewage. I literally don't know where these numbers are coming from because on days I wasn't even staying at my apartment, I see daily readings of between 90 to 110 gallons each day. This is insane! THIS BUSINESS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY FOR BAD PRATICE AND CHARGING FOR WHAT I DON'T USE!Conservice Utility Management & Billing

******** - I am sorry for the frustration. I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to your concerns. To confirm, for residents that are billed according to their individual consumption, we simply bill according to the reads received from the meter directly. If daily readings are available, they will typically check in with usage from the day before and are typically accurate. Any unusal consumption would show consistent high usage which could indicate a maintenance issue is present. However, ****** gallons a day is normal consumption and does not seem to indicate any issues are present. If you believe there may be a maintenance issue in the unit, you can follow up with your leasing office directly for further assistance.
