1 starConservice rips you off with trash fees. Trash fees have gone up without any explanation. The fee was $1.63, and in October I got charged $26 for trash. This is not even valet trash. I asked both the leasing office and Conservice about it and they both confirmed that this not a mistake and that the fee is now $26. So I paid it. It is now November and I just received the new bill. The trash fee is now $40! How does it go from $1.63 to $40 in 2 months! This is not even a valet service!Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Heba - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, the trash bill is calculated by splitting the *************** trash bill among all residents based on the number of occupants in their unit. The trash charge can vary from month to month depending on the total amount received from the trash company. This means any increase/decrease in the total trash bill will also increase/decrease each resident's individual trash charge. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromMahmood A

Mahmood - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, Conservice is contracted through your leasing office to calculate and manage the utilities for your unit. We simply bill according to the terms of your lease.Additionally, at your community, you are not billed according to your individual consumption. You are billed a portion of the overall bill for the communitys water and sewer services as outlined in your lease. The total amount is divided among the residents based on the occupancy and square footage of their unit. The water and sewer charges can vary from month to month depending on the total amount received from the water company. I am sorry for any confusion. We're happy to follow up on any other questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromJoyce G

***** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, Conservice processes and pays utility bills as received from the local utility providers. The utility bill amounts are then passed onto the resident. If we do not receive bills for a specific utility, you will not have charges for that utility that month. There may also be months where we receive multiple bills at one time. You can find more information about why this can happen here: **************************************************************************************************************************************** reviewing your account, I see while we were calculating your 11/01/23 statement, we received and processed multiple statements from the local utility providers. Utilities are typically billed one month at a time, but we have billed for multiple service periods on this statement to ensure there are no further delays in the service periods being billed. I also see the only other statement that had multiple service periods was the bill due 10/01/23 which included two water charges. I'm sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Additionally, the service period is typically a couple of months behind the due date in order to accurately obtain the meter reading and bill for the consumption used. This is typical of all utility billing companies. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromPersonal P

1 starThis company is a scam, over priced. I live in the *************************** apartments. Ive only lived here for 3 month, my utility bill from this company makes me rent go from $979 to $1225+ monthly, because they over charge for utilities. My electric bill isnt even anywhere near the price I pay for utilities, they over charge for sewage $107 to be exact, water is $81+, when I called to complain, the company simply told me that the reason its so high is because they charge everyone in the apartment complex for how ever much everyone uses plus their own usage for their own unit! I told them thats not right, I shouldnt have to pay for other peoples usage plus my own, I should only be paying for my own usage. Its way too high, and the price goes up each month. It makes it to where I dont even feel comfortable using any water in my unit because it seems like every drop is $50. They shouldnt be a utility company, theyre taking advantage of people who barely have anything. I hard use water, Im hardly even home more than 4 days a week, so theres no reason my bill should be this high! Its ridiculous! BBB please investigate and help everyone who is being taken advantage of by this company, you guys really need to take action immediately! God bless you all!Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Unique - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, at your community, you are not billed according to your individual usage for the water and sewer charges. Rather, you are billed a portion of the overall bill for the communitys water and sewer services as outlined in your lease. The property management pays a portion for the common area usage and the remaining amount is divided among the residents based on the occupancy and square footage of their unit. The water and sewer charges can vary from month to month depending on the total amount received from the water company. Since we do not have a way of measuring your individual water usage, this is the most accurate way to complete the billing for your community. I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience. Additionally, the gas is billed in a similar way as the water/sewer charges but is split among all residents based on their occupancy only. The drainage charge is split among all units equally and the remaining charges for water base, sewer base, and trash are all flat fees. Please note, you can find a description of each of your utilities on the back of your Conservice statement for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromRobert C

1 starProbably one of the worst web based/electronic billing company I have ever been associated with. I never received a welcome email from my apartment's complex as advised, and their sign up process is really archaic, and frankly doesn't even work. Super tempted to leave this apartments' complex just because of this company.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

**************** regret to see you have not contacted our **************** Team in regards to your concerns. I am sorry to hear you did not receive the welcome letter as promised. To clarify, once Conservice is notified by the leasing office that a resident has moved in, a Conservice account is automatically opened for that resident at that time. We will then begin billing that resident as of their lease start date. Additionally, residents have full access to their online Conservice account at www.utilitiesinfo.com where they can review their monthly statements as well as conservation resources. Please see ************************************************************************************************************** for more information on how to access your online account. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromMary T

1 starBills keep on going up about 2months after we moved in, even when our usage is the same. In my area we have the voluntary water conservation, and most of us are compliant. This company is in violation of charging us high bills, we all have to stand together and report this.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

**** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, at your community, Conservice simply passes along any charges as received from the local utility providers. In reviewing your account, I see there has been an increase in water usage over the last several months which is what has caused the increase in the water amount due. Consistent high usage such as this typically means there may be a maintenance issue in the unit. If you have not already, please reach out to your property management to have your home checked for any maintenance-related issues. If an issue is found, it will need to be fixed and then we would be happy to review the billing for any possible adjustments at that time. Please note, all provider bills as well as your Conservice statements are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromPamela J

1 starI am with Conservice and I constantly request to be able to view my electricity provider bill. Every request I am told it will be emailed within 48 hours, but I NEVER receive it. I have proof of these requests that are NEVER resolved. My correct email is given every request and its the same email that is on file. I can view my water, trash, sewer, and gas bills, but NEVER my electric bill. There should be transparency with all of my provider bills. This is not legal and I will be seeking out more information regarding the matter.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I am sorry for the frustration. In reviewing your account, I see the most recent request to send the electric provider bill was completed and was sent on 10/24/23 to the email address we have on file. If you did not receive this, I would suggest checking your junk or spam folder. Please note, the electricity bills are available to review and can be sent to you upon request. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromIngrid G

1 starConservice is overcharging by using estimates for actual use. We left our place for an entire month and only stayed 15 days at home (barely using AC) and they charged us based on the estimate of last month. We had unplugged all electrical devices and when I called Conservice the representative explained that they used the daily charge of the prior month and multiplied it to issue the bill of the month we were out. He refused to provide more details. These people are stealing your money and hoping nobody notices. I will open a dispute with my bank. They have not provided me with an accurate bill supporting the service provided.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, once a resident notifies their property they are moving, Conservice prorates the final bill based on previous consumption and billing history to ensure their account is closed in a timely manner. The proration is typically accurate since it is based on previous usage. In reviewing your final statement, I see there is a slightly longer service period than prior months which is why the total electricity amount due is higher than usual. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Please note, all final bill charges are final and cannot be adjusted. All final payments and any other questions regarding your final amount due can be taken up with your leasing office directly. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromAnthony B

2 starsI have just received a statement which was almost double the previous statements of the past year.I called the customer service number and the explanation was that they did not receive the correct information from the reader at my home and the bill was an estimation This was an indication that the reader had been misreading. When I asked the customer service person to go back to the beginning of the year where she could see that the monthly reading was half of the new statement we were then disconnected and she did not try to reach me. When I called back I was faced with heavy cal lvolume message and the hold time would be greater than usual.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

******* - I am sorry to hear you were not called back after being disconnected. I am happy to see you were able to speak to another member of the **************** Team in regards to this. In the future, you can opt for a callback or reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com where we would be happy to assist you further. To confirm, at your community, you are billed according to the individual consumption in your unit. However, anytime a meter read is not received, an estimate based on a unit average or property average takes place. In situations like this, it could be several months before an actual read is received and if no estimation is made, this could result in a large bill amount. To avoid this, we estimate the consumption until an actual read is received. Once we receive the actual reading from the meter, we evaluate if any overbilling or underbilling has taken place and make any adjustments as necessary at that time. In reviewing your account, I see we did not receive a read from your meter for 3 months which resulted in your reads being estimated based on your unit average. We recently received your actual meter reading showing we had underestimated and underbilled on previous statements. Your bill due 10/01/23 is accounting for this and you are being billed for the usage that should have been billed previously. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Going forward, you will continue to be billed based on your actual consumption as long as we continue to receive the actual reading from your meter. Please note, your meter reads as well as your Conservice statements are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromLauren H

1 starThis is a plain scam! My rental home uses this service and they scam you to death! The fees are off the chart and my property management team will not let you submit your rent unless you pay these outlandish charges! There is no actual meter reading going on! I hate this company and how they partner with apartments and home rentals to **** you without a gun! I am sick of it!Conservice Utility Management & Billing
