1 starUnfortunate but this company does nothing. I would give it no stars if possible. They charge a quarterly fee, and did not come to my house. I called, because I had sugar ants, they came and sprayed. Where they sprayed, there were evern more ants for over 10 days. They came back again after I called, and sprayed again and this time spraying some of my furniture, ruining the furniture. DO NOT HIRE.Fox Pest Control HQ

1 starFox Pest control in *****, **.We have had Fox for a while and have been happy with services, up until now. Services had been scheduled in Sept 2023 the technician never showed up. Which is fine, until I received a bill for $200. I read the technicians comments about what was completed, and he stated that he "spoke with homeowner in the driveway". I was home all day and did not speak with anyone. I have been receiving bills monthly. the most recent email was a 'receipt for payment' on a card that had been expired and never renewed because I am not paying for a service that did not happen. I have made several calls/emails to the company and no one answers or responds. I did speak with a customer service rep to cancel services, but she could not rectify billing. 1 starAfter using their service for less than one month and sending them written notification I would not be continuing their services they responded with you have a contract and owe us an early term fee. I told them this is not the case and they proceeded to put the charge on my credit card anyway without any authorization or consent from me. This is a completely fraudulent company. It took 3 of their service techs 3 visits to attempt to fix an issue in my attic. One of the techs was afraid of a mouse in the attic and they had to send a supervision after I complained. I would never use this company. I recommend staying away from Fox Pest Control. Incidentally, most major pest control companies are owned by one very large corporation and Fox is under that same umbrella, so buyer beware because if you think by using another company you are sticking it to whomever that is probably not the case. *** was bought out then than 1 year ago. 1 starBuyer Beware! Fox pest control door to door salesmen will tell you want you want to hear you can cancel at anytime, no fees this is not a contract but will not inform you that you are in fact in a two year contract and there will be a $250 cancellation fee for early termination. They even try to guilt trip you saying you will really be helping me out, I'm on a pip (performance improvement plan) because my sales havent been so high. Im cousins with the owner and ** trying not to let him down. Judging by the reviews, this is a common thing. When you call to rectify it, they tell you there is nothing they can do. Their spraying doesnt even work no matter how many times they come, the ants and wasps are still there. They even told me they would throw in the spray for ticks but yet it doesnt say it on the contract that they diligently sent me when I called to cancel nor did they spray for them since my husband was bit by a tick this summer while doing yard work. How about the company does right by its customers who are having trouble making ends meet. Us customers are canceling for a reason and then you slap us over the wrist with a $250 early termination fee. Thats just bad customer service. A company that does right by its community and truly believes in their product does not charge such fees because they know their customers will either return or stay. This company does none of this even after their salesman lies and misleads their customers. But dont worry, after they take out that $74.95 monthly fee and after you tell them you cant even pay your mortgage, they will let you set up a payment plan to pay off that $250 cancellation fee. So all is good in the world except for the fact that I cant get a refund and have to pay an additional $250 for services that dont even work. 1 starNever trust a fox. The salesman knocked on my door and pitched me a $180.00 service which he told me was half off normal price.The technician came and sprayed for ants and the problem actually got worse.Then I was checking my bank statements and noticed they were charging me $60.00/month.I called to cancel, and they said I had to schedule a final service before I can cancel, which brought back the ants.Now they are calling me saying I have an unpaid balance.I would not recommend this company.Fox Pest Control HQ

1 starFox pest control - if you try to cancel and close your account permanently, it is a herculean task. They do not let use cancel on the phone. You have to send an email. And on sending the email, they reply saying we are very busy and cannot process your cancellation now. I have to call them multiple times to have my account placed on a "30 day hold period for cancellation".And while I am trying to cancel my account and stop from having further services and be charged subsequently, they keep scheduling more services. This is a horrendous scam to have customers charged unlawfully inspite of the customers not wanted to be serviced. @betterbusineebureau @bbb I would like for you to investigate the process for a customer cancellation for this business. 1 starFox Pest Control demanded a credit card to keep on file when we first began using their service. We refused. *** agreed to bill us for any services instead. They did not. instead, they sent someone to our door randomly every week demanding money, but not presenting a bill. These "collectors" were in some cases wearing no uniform and offered nothing identifying them as Fox Pest Control collectors. In Early June, 2023, I had had enough and demended that they stay off our property and that I was canceling their service. I have a text message from them on June 21, 2023 acknowledging that the service was canceled.Not a peep from Fox after that, until last week when they left a recirded message that they were coming to "perform their service." When their Technician called to tell me she was on her way I wtold her not to come because I had canceled the servcice months ago. A very rude someone from Fox called me a bit later for more harassment, saying that I had not canceled and that she would be sending me a bill. They just left ANOTHER harassment message saying that they would be at my house tomorrow because I am "due for my last service".Why would anyone want these people on their propoperty or taking care of their home?Fox Pest Control HQ

5 starsWe have had a contract with Fox Pest Control for about two years now. Every time I call for service the response is fast and the technicians friendly and knowledgeable. Today, ***** came to service our house and she was delightful. We discussed what the problem was and what she was going to do. 1 starSlimy conmen who try to wring every last cent out of you.- Door-to-door salesmen are pushy, lie about neighbors signing up, and don't mention until right before you sign that the service is a multi-year subscription contract.- The subscription involves making monthly payments for quarterly service. (?)- *********** doesn't do anything. They haphazardly spray something around the house and set a few mouse traps, which you could do yourself for a lot less money. No difference at all in the number of insects or mice.- Want treatment for one specific insect in your yard, one time? Sorry, that's a whole other subscription you have to commit to.- I asked about waiving their contract termination fee after I lost my job. They wouldn't give me even a cent. The "best" they could do is change my monthly payment to a quarterly payment.- When the time came to actually cancel, I had to hound them - they didn't answer their phone and didn't call me back for several days, almost until it was too late.Learn from my mistake and stay away. 1 starFirst of all, they prey on people as I was moving into my new home in a new area with the moving truck parked in front. Super friendly and giving a great pitch song and dance, but then you have no clue what you have signed up for 2 years. They charge you monthly but come maybe 5 times. You wait on hold forever to talk to a real person. One time it was over an hour. I did call them when my yard had fleas and they told me it would cost extra and couldn't come out for a week. My brother called who doesn't even use Fox and they told him they would come the next morning. Wow! I was mad and tried calling to be told there was no way I could get out of my contract. I see on here you do let people out so why do we talk out of both sides of our mouth? Also, when they do come they expect you to wait all day, no time is given!!! Wish I could run my business like this. Run!!! This is a scam!!!!!!! I want out from this scam of a business!!!!Fox Pest Control HQ

We have since then hired more team members, and you shouldn't have a problem with that again. As for billing, The monthly payment equals 1/3 of the Quarterly treatment price. If you would like to change how frequently you are billed, please call and let the office know! We would also be able to send you a copy of your agreement if you would like to look over it.
