      Vivint is the ************* Ive Ever Dealt With.If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is a disaster from top to bottomunreliable equipment, shady billing, and customer service that borders on hostile. I trusted Vivint to protect my home, business, and guests, and instead Ive been left with failures, frustration, and unsafe conditions.1. Defective Carbon Monoxide Detectors Their faulty detectors triggered false alarms so severe the fire department showed up. Vivint actually tried to charge me for that call. The fire chief confirmed on camera there was no leakit was their equipment. The technicians excuse? That I light candles. Absurd and dangerous.2. Unreliable Cameras Their cameras drop offline at random, leaving me blind to whats happening. Whats the point of a security system if you cant even view it?3. Incomplete Installation At install, the tech swore everything was ready. Months later, I learned my glass break sensor was slapped on the wall but never activated. I paid for months of false security.4. ************ Pin Failures As an Airbnb host and Soldier, changing codes quickly is critical. Vivints panels constantly malfunction, blocking updates. Their solution? Be at home when it happens. They even admitted to defective panels yet offered no fix.5. *********************** Asking for a supervisor is a joke. Youll be told they dont exist or the wait will be hours. The moment you say youll hold? A supervisor magically appearsonly to turn hostile when you push back.Bottom line: Vivint sells broken equipment, blames the customer, and bullies anyone who demands answers. Unsafe, unprofessional, and a total waste of money. Protect yourself: avoid Vivint at all costs.

      Tried to cancel account with them. I was hung up on 3 times while trying to cancel. By the time I got through to the 4th representative he tried to lock me back into a contract after I told him atleast 10 times I just wanted to cancel. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with these crooks

      Cameras will not stay connected. There is literally no service no help. You are on your own. Do not get involved with this company do your business with somebody else. This company is terrible and I feel like I've been scammed. There call center is in ***** so good luck with that. Be assured though that they will call you for money wether the system works or not. I will be suing them for breach of contract and reporting them to the BBB.

      I got vivint security system with my solar panels, apparently it was free for three years. At the end of the three years I started having problems.The wasnt working even with overriding and when I complained I was told it would cost $50 for the magnet replacement and I also couldnt my the bill because the system wouldnt let me, For the first few months they sent me a link so I could pay. On July 15, 2025 I got fed up called them payed my bill and told them to the problems Im having and to cancel service. A week later I get another bill, I email them asking to discontinue service and send a paper invoice to my home, because for some reason it take 30 days to disconnect service. Their system wont let me pay. Today I get a bill by email for $102. I emailed them again telling them I canceled over a month ago. They acknowledged the email. I dont have a contact with this company. They are scamming people.

      Cancellation process is confusing and really difficult for the client to get out even when the equipment is payoff. They have a process were they want to delay the response so you get tired in the phone and in the meantime they keep charging you.

      Ive been a loyal Vivint customer for 4 years, but after moving to a new home this company completely let me down. I was promised free upgraded equipment and 6 months of free service as a loyalty perk. Instead, I was hit with a $551.80 charge for equipment that was supposed to be free, and told Im not eligible for the 6 months of free service because I cant prove what the *** saideven though everything was discussed on recorded calls.The installer also confirmed I should have had the 6-month perk, but that was another lie. Ive spent weeks chasing refunds and getting the runaround from their loyalty team. After 4 years with no problems, this experience has been nothing but stress, broken promises, and dishonesty.I will never recommend Vivint to anyone. Beware of their misleading sales tactics and hidden charges.

      Company *****. Sales rep ****** ****** lied about everything when pitching his sale. got locked into 5 yr contract and vivint couldnt do anything about it. stay far away from them

      While the service itself worked fine, canceling with Vivint has been nearly impossible. After moving homes and reaching the end of my contract, I tried to cancel but was repeatedly pressured to provide the new homeowners information instead.Their cancellation process is filled with unethical tactics: excessively long hold times intended to make you hang up, constant upselling despite my clear refusal, and an unwillingness to take no for an answer. I called multiple times, and they still refused to send me a cancellation confirmation. The only way I finally received it was by refusing to end the call until it was emailed to me.This company makes canceling deliberately difficult and frustrating. Customers deserve honesty and respect, not predatory business practices designed to trap them in services they no longer want.While the service itself worked fine, canceling with Vivint has been nearly impossible.       I've had Vivint for several years and never had a problem until in recently. I started getting emails said they were from Vivint that I owed $354.45. I hadn't gotten any invoice saying I owed that and thought the emails were a scam. Then they automatically charged my account. I went to my ********************** online acct and there was an invoice there. It didn't say what it was for. I learned through chat it was for a dvr for new cameras that I'd purchased in early March. Old dvr worked perfectly as checked by ****. My husband and I are both elderly and he's also a Veteran - 80+ yrs of age and I'm 77+. We live on a limited income. I was promised that the charge would be credited back to my account. Now they want me to pay half. This is the craziest company I've ever dealt with. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN.

      Worst *********************************************** home, I have constant problems with my cameras and security panel. Their helpdesk is not very helpful. You will never speak to a supervisor and the only number for the corporate office goes out of the country to their helpdesk so you cannot file any complaints. I have tried for 2 years to reach someone for help to review my complaints and there is no one to speak with
