Repeatedly calls to "schedule a home visit" even though I have never heard of them before, I am on the federal do not call list, and I have never had a pre-existing relationship with them. Even to understand who the caller was calling from took a number of minutes because they would go through their spiel so fast...and they would almost seem like they were covering the microphone with their hand when they got to the company they were calling from.Being "In the area", or "Neighbors have our service", or "We are highly rated" ARE NOT EXCEPTIONS TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST.If you operate illegally to get me business, the most important time to make someone happy, god knows what will happen if I was an actual customer.

Services?? were provided to us about two weeks ago. The alarm was not connected correctly it never worked. The technician did not know what he was doing. He stated that we needed a new doorbell. What he did was discounted the doorbell wires. Upon calling Vivint it was an hour and they refused to cancel the services the refused to place a supervisor on the line and still stated they were charging us more days for a service that never worked. I recorded the call after 45 min and me yelling to cancel she still refused wanting to give us promotions. The intimated, harassed refused cancelling service, stated we were going to be charged (for services not rendered). The worst company were have ever dealt with. Then they had the nerve to ask if we had any family member or someone that would be interested in services. Ridiculous.

I had no issues with the service, trying to cancel is is pulling your hair out. After multiple phone calls, my account is still showing active and I am still being charged.

I have had them for a little over a month now. The Vivint salesman told me I wouldnt be charged for a month. I was charged $54 a day after everything was installed. I called to cancel with them because I felt like I was scammed and was scared to see what the future held with them. The Vivint customer service/ retention *** told me she would give me $15 off a month AND $360 credit. I clarified with her Id get both multiple times, she said yes. I said ok thats fine Ill keep the system and service. Long behold less than 2 weeks later, they charged me another $54. Then 2 weeks later, I was charged $40. I called just now and I was told, she never said that Id get a credit also. They said $15 off a month for 2 years is $360. I said I understand that but that is not what the woman on the phone said. She said theres nothing she can do. So now when I cancel itll be thousands of dollars vs when it would have been free if I just canceled in the first 3 days like I tried to in the beginning.

Lies after lies after lies. When we fist signed with Vivint 6 years ago, the sales person told us Vivint would buy us out of our current contract ($1200) with another security company. As I was signing that paperwork, I noticed it mentioned a cap at $800. The sales person said yes, but he would be able to get the full $1200 approved. When we received our buyout, it was $800. When I called Vivint about the issue, they basically told me that if the sales person said the full $1200 would be covered, then anything over the $800 cap would have to come from the sales person themselves. Of course, then the sales person wouldn't answer my texts or calls nor Vivint's calls (supposedly) and therefore, we were out the $******* it's 6 years later. We've paid off all our initial equipment. A new sales guy comes to the door and says they're running a DISCOUNT while they're in the neighborhood for long-time customers to upgrade their cameras and no installation fee. We bite.Guy tells me it'll be approximately $17-18/month for the new equipment.Wrong. It's $21/******** mention of a garage integration fee ($50).AND the equipment wasn't discounted at all, just the normal full price as listed on their website.I did not discover this until seeing the invoice in my email today (the day after install), and when I called Vivint about it, they basically told me that there's nothing they can do about the price now since it's already been installed. (But I never got the price breakdown invoice until after everything was installed, so how would I have known to call about it...?)I've hated this company basically since the moment we got them, but once you're in a contract, it's hard to leave. And then, when you pay off your equipment, you've already poured thousands of dollars into the equipment that won't work if you go to a different company, so it just feels like you're stuck forever.

I will never recommend Vivint; after being a customer for 10 years all I have to say is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. After the sale of our home, I contacted Vivint customer service to let them know the new home owner will be taking over the home security devices and everything will be transferred to them; at that time vivint removed our access to the vivint account. I rightly assumed that was it... only to realize 10 months later Vivint was still billing us monthly (as well as the new home owners); they were collecting monthly fees for a service we no longer had (and also billing the new home owners). After a week of back and forth with their customer service we were finally told it was an error and we would receive a full refund from the time of transfer (10 months); the refund I received was less than 1 month of charges. We have spent another week of our time arguing with customer service who now says we will not be getting the refund since we have no written documentation from customer service; not only that, they are refusing to release the recorded phone message where their customer service representative acknowledges the error and promises we will be receiving a refund for the 10 months of double charges. ******.

If I could leave a negative review I would! My sales *** and installer never explained to me Id be going through ******* to pay off my cameras. Instead they told me that my monthly Vivint bill would be higher until my equipment was paid off and then would lower once it was done, had my bill on autopay and never looked again. Come to find out from a DEBT collector today that I now have over $2000 in debt for not making one payment to my equipment. And there is no record of the $700 equipment deposit I made. Will definitely be contacting legal. Definitely scammed.
