      As everyone else says, Id leave a 0 if I could. I waited until my contract was up so I could cancel, they told me I had to send an email requesting that my account be canceled and that it could take up to 30 days to do so, they have since charged my account again since its been 25 of the 30 days of a cancellation review. Every time I call customer service to get an update they spend as long as Ill stay on the phone trying to convince me to upgrade my service or equipment, until I finally just hang up. Not to mention the door to door salesman ring my doorbell WEEKLY. Had a technician come out once, concerned that I wasnt satisfied and spent two hours pretending to listen to me just to tell me Well get your problems fixed if you buy our solar panels Vivint is the biggest scam company Ive ever dealt with in my life. I could go on and on about them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

      Stay away from any salesmen for this company. You can buy everything for half the cost through their app. Dont trust any of them. I tried to request a cancelation on a couple of items and I got ghosted until it was too late. Not only that, their camera was faulty and doesn't work. I asked to return it and just not replace since it obviously wasn't needed and they refused. This company is slimy to the core.

      IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS I WOULD! Ive been a Vivint customer and initially chose them because of their security features and what seemed like a solid reputation. However, my experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing especially when it comes to billing and customer ********** one point, I was offered a lower monthly bill, and I agreed based on that promise. Unfortunately, that lower rate was never reflected on my bill, even though it was a key reason I stayed with the service. Since then, I have called multiple times to try to get this resolved. Each time, Im told something different or promised a follow-up that never happens. I've spent far too much time on the phone, being transferred around or stuck waiting with no *************'s clear that there's either a major disconnect between departments or a lack of accountability within the company. Either way, this is not how a company should treat its customers.I feel misled, ignored, and incredibly frustrated. At this point, I cannot recommend Vivint to anyone looking for a trustworthy home security provider. A company that doesnt honor its own promises or take responsibility for ongoing issues is not one I want to continue doing business with.

      Terrible company. Worst mistake I have made purchasing their system.If they can't resolve the issue over the phone and your system is over a year old you pay big bucks to have a service technician come. Or you can pay a monthly fee to purchase their support at a reduced rate. They are scam artists. They're constantly trying to upsell you even on a problem call. Their system is constantly going offline. I've had the doorcam replaced twice and now their thermostat is bad. Constant issues of having to reboot the system. You never talk to anyone whose first language is english so often they're very hard to understand

      After seeing all these bad reviews Im going to give them a three their customer service that Ive always had has been fantastic. Im just putting a note here as far as their equipment goes it works very well except for if you have a power outage forget it if youre thinking about recording something it doesnt record without the power on so best bet if youre gonna need cameras that work without the power which most people should want dont go with the Vivent. Get a camera that relays a battery back up. I have already given them feedback but I just really surprised without a company thats been in business for a long time and all the IT tech equipment out there that no ones come up with this idea yet at least for ******.

      After reading all these complains,i was about to submit,and get this Company,they just at my house Friday,and Satuurday,thanks alot,and People please go with Amp Smart,my Cameras been out since May 9th,nothing is working,and they a F Rating,so i am going to buy own equipment,and let my Neigbor set it up,thank again.

      Hi:I want to give 0 in the review!They have horrible consumer service. You are on the line for 2-5 hours waiting and at the end they do not fix your problem.They only want to sell stuff but they can not install it appropriately and in timely fashion.Please save your time and do not have any contract with them.

      If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I have had the worst customer service experience and wish I could cancel my contract with Vivint. I dont recommend them to anyone. I am in the process of moving and have been trying for weeks to have my equipment moved. After weeks of trying to get an appointment we finally have one scheduled the day before we have to be out of the house. They no showed the appointment and never called to let me know. I called the first time and they said the technician was running behind and would be there soon. Hours went by well past the scheduled appointment so I called again. This time they said oh the technician never showed up to work and called out. So they lied. Then I asked okay so what do we do about the equipment in my house that were still paying on mind you. They said well we will make it right and waive your installment at your new house and send you the new equipment for free. (Again another lie) I called them again to make sure everything was resolved since we have to be out of our house tomorrow and will not have access. They told me that was not true and they could not do what was offered. They said I could add more equipment for cost. I said why would I do that when Im paying for the equipment yall didnt come out to move as scheduled. That would be stupid. So now I have no equipment and I have a contract Im paying for a service and they wont fix anything. They can I guess just leave you hanging with no equipment but still expect you to pay. VIVINT YOU DO NOT TREAT LOYAL PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS AND KEEP BUSINESS. This is yalls to fix you did not show for the appointment I had scheduled and now Im without equipment for my new house. This is on yall to fix not for me to dish out more money.

      Don't believe anything they promise you. Im paying over double what I paid with ***. The equipment is totally overpriced and customer support is non existent. 0 stars would be more appropriate.

      Vivint is the ************* Ive Ever Dealt With.If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is a disaster from top to bottomunreliable equipment, shady billing, and customer service that borders on hostile. I trusted Vivint to protect my home, business, and guests, and instead Ive been left with failures, frustration, and unsafe conditions.1. Defective Carbon Monoxide Detectors Their faulty detectors triggered false alarms so severe the fire department showed up. Vivint actually tried to charge me for that call. The fire chief confirmed on camera there was no leakit was their equipment. The technicians excuse? That I light candles. Absurd and dangerous.2. Unreliable Cameras Their cameras drop offline at random, leaving me blind to whats happening. Whats the point of a security system if you cant even view it?3. Incomplete Installation At install, the tech swore everything was ready. Months later, I learned my glass break sensor was slapped on the wall but never activated. I paid for months of false security.4. ************ Pin Failures As an Airbnb host and Soldier, changing codes quickly is critical. Vivints panels constantly malfunction, blocking updates. Their solution? Be at home when it happens. They even admitted to defective panels yet offered no fix.5. *********************** Asking for a supervisor is a joke. Youll be told they dont exist or the wait will be hours. The moment you say youll hold? A supervisor magically appearsonly to turn hostile when you push back.Bottom line: Vivint sells broken equipment, blames the customer, and bullies anyone who demands answers. Unsafe, unprofessional, and a total waste of money. Protect yourself: avoid Vivint at all costs.
