      The worst experience ever !! They are a SCAM, they dont tell you anything about the hiding fees , and they dont respect what they said by phone , and they force you to stay with them because if not they will charge you 5x the price , even when the quality is the worst !!!

      A sales *** came to my house and I signed up for the doorbell. She said shed pay the first 3-4 months as well. She and the installation *** told me that I had 30 days to cancel if I wasnt happy with it, and that Vivint will include the equipment. I believed her. About 28 days later, I tried to cancel since my bill for the doorbell is around $100 a month, which includes the equipment (that I was told they would provide), and was told by the service center that I had 2 weeks not 30 days! ***?? Im beyond furious now! We are now in September, and I have been calling them 2 times a month since December, just to cancel this **** service! Its been 8 months since far, and they still want to argue with me! I will never recommend this company to anyone! I dont know what else to do. If I cancel my card on file, Ill be ***orted to the credit bureaus for the equipment balance and the remaining contract. I just want it cancelled and reimbursed for January through September. I should NOT be paying when I called before the trial period per the *** and the installing ***! Did those 2 get the wrong memo, or was this all a scam! Vivint ***** please look elsewhere people!

      If I could give them NO stars I would. We have been customers for over 12 years. They now, will not send technicians to our area because we live in a rural town. We wanted an upgrade on our system. I talked to 12 or so people and chatted to that many too. I finally got an agent who said he would send a technician . He even gave me a date, time frame, and played me the message that I had to agree to the changes.Well the day came and no one showed up. He blatantly lied to me. When I texted him to ask why, he did not respond. So, they try to sell you new equipment, they say they will send someone to install, but they LIE...DI NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

      Was manipulated into signing a 5 year contact. The representatives will lie directly in your face to get the sale. Dont go with this company.

      Been trying to cancel the service since it doesn't work at all and they have violated my no solicitor order and feel like there *** was forcing me to buy, he did tell me he had a knife on him so wouldn't deal with this company

      Vivint customer support is non existent and when they call you the employees give you the wrong badge number very few give the right badge # and on top of that they say they will give you a 200$ credit and 2 months for free and then they tell you you have a appointment and it nothing but lies when they came to original came to install system they drilled a hole thru my hardwood floor and the guy took pictures now they say there is no record of it I give 0 for customer service I worked 45 years in the electrical service and was always customer friendly but these people don't no how to treat customers Who is running this company if I owned this company heads would be rolling no company should treat there customers like that

      wish I could leave less than one star. this is the biggest scam and rip off of a home security company if you even want to call it that, half the time their systems dont even work or are so delayed if something happened your out of luck. I paid the extra money to be able to leave my contract whenever I want all that mattered was the equipment was paid off and this is the biggest scam. my equipment was paid off and I put in a cancellation request 2 months ago (house sale) and am still being billed and all I get an answer on is it takes time for a cancellation to be processed, still no idea of when it will be truely cancelled. Only when I mentioned legal action did any traction get made and they said they would expedite the cancellation. THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HAPPEN CANCEL = CANCEL NOT WAIT FOR MONTHS AND STILL GET BILLED. I would love to see how many more people they get away with billing hundreds of dollars after they cancel and just chalk it up to "System Error" or "system slowness" when all it is Vivint being a bunch of money grubbing, greedy scumbags they deserve a class action lawsuit against for this. FRAUDULENT CHARGING AND LYING

      The cameras and monitors are not that great for the price you pay. Over priced and customer assistance is almost non-existent. I tried to cancel my service after I paid for the camera and monitor and after 2 months of waiting for them to stop billing me I called and they said that my letter didn't get to the correct place. The lady I talked to did say that they had record of my letter. So I waited for another billing cycle and they did not cancel my service. I called again and got the run around. I received a email stating they did not receive a letter and will not cancel my service. I do not trust this company and they have lawsuits and regulatory actions against them.

      There equipment doesn't last and they will charge you for a service call fee, plus cost of new equipment or will try to sell you something more. If you're equipment is down. Don't expect a phone call to tell you or to get your equipment back up and working. If you want to cancel your service good luck. They want a email that they can never find and they will still take money out of your bank account every month until you tell your bank that vivint was canceled and reject all vivint payment requests that they make in the future. All there representatives will never ever give you your money back, until you take them to court.
