      Rip-off Vivint says one thing for your security system, then they have a hidden charge. I've been paying on a $4,000.00 system 3 cameras, door bell camera, and in door monitoring. I've called and complained with no satisfaction. Management said I would get a complete refund. And come and take cameras out of my home. I'm a cancer survival and wanted this camera to watch my home from idiots in my neighborhood. Now, I've got bullet holes in my house and the monitoring system from vivint does not work. I have had things stolen out of my fenced yard and Vivint cameras could not find culprit who did that crime. The faces on people were not even 20 feet away they could not be seen if they are a man or woman. Police could not make a determination who was the criminal. You would be better off purchasing a camera security system from, ******, or ***** Club, or Amazon for a lot less money than I'm paying $4,000.00 dollars for nothing. THANKS VIVINT FOR BEING SUCH LIARS!.

      They gave my information to a credit card company and issued me with a card that I did not apply for. I had cleared my credit and ready for a mortgage loan and now I cannot qualify for it because of the additional debt they've made me incur. Time to lawyer up.

      This is the worst company, sales person, said I could makes payments, but customer service says i was miss informed, I am making payments, they are now threatening to shut-off my alarm system.

      Business and customer service are the worst with **********************. I have been trying to cancel the service with them, but the tech came to replace a camera. even though I have the protection added to my account they still charge a service fee every time, when I complain about it they say it is past 30 days. The way they do it, is they charge your account a month later so that it doesn't give time to complain. I will keep trying to cancel and will never go back to them.I should have read the reviews before committing to a contract that I can't get out of!!

      Terrible equipment performance and service. Even with paying for their extra fee protection plan, they cannot fix multiple issues (since installation-over 5 years) and they try everything not to send you a Technician. they haven't been able to fix our camera issues, alarm panel issues and continue stating that there's a "system update" (this excuse has been given to us for over 2 years now)The system turns itself on and off on its own causing a false alarm. The cameras sometimes detect, sometimes not.the system is extremely expensive compared to others and there's nothing you can do to get out of the remaining financial portion.PLEASE look elsewhere-

      I had Vivint for over 10 years and have always had many device errors. System frequently says there is a problem with devices and suggest a battery replacement and error continues after battery replacement. It happens on motion detectors, window and door sensors. Smart thermostat phone app control is extremely unreliable. Does not work the majority of the time. Service can has not been **** to correct the errors. I live with it but I am a unhappy custiner and do not recommend Vivint.

      Liars. When I first got the system in 2020 my doorbell camera wouldn't work at all at night. They tried to tell me that's because of the night vision. My next door neighbor also had vivint though and he's was clear as a bell at night. First lie. 4 months ago I told them I wanted to cancel. Had a possession tell me I have to pay off my equipment then they would buy out my contract. I tried to say I'll go ahead and pay it off that day to cancel. Then he says no, no. Just defer it. You won't get charged your service fee. Then when you pay it off on full you can cancel. I'm like OK. Fast forward to the next bill... I'm still getting the fee for the equipment AND the service fee. At this point someone tells me, it's because you already deferred your contract in 2021. You can't defer it for more than 12 months. But my cameras didn't work all month so they issued me a credit, and promised that they would make good on the deferment. Fast forward again to the next bill. Again in I'm getting the fee. By now I'm fed up. I call citizen loan to pay off the cameras then call vivint and tell them I want to cancel. Now I'm being told I have to pay off my contract before canceling. I'm like, OK everyone is lying to me. The lady says I'll get the next 2 months free. I accept that bc I just wanted to get off the phone. Fast forward to today. I froze my cc so they couldn't get their payment, but I get an email that they tried to process it. I call . This time they try to sell me an upgrade.... I say no. Then they say we'll you have to pay off your contact. I say well they told me back in July I had a buyout ****************************************** I say I'm keeping my cc frozen and am not paying anything else. Then the guy changes his story... he says if I pay the balance for today which is 45 I can cancel. I don't know what I had to pay for bc my cameras hadnt been on for 5 Mos, but whatever. He says pay and callback. I say I'm only doing it if you cancel it now

      I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with Vivint Smart Homes service regarding my cancellation request. I have been attempting to cancel my contract since June, but despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, my cancellation remains incomplete.Since my initial request, I have contacted Vivint's customer service team several times, both via phone and email. Each time, I was assured that the cancellation would be processed promptly, yet no action has been taken on your end. It is incredibly frustrating to continuously follow up without receiving a ************* date, I have not received any confirmation of cancellation, nor has any of my billing stopped, despite my repeated attempts to confirm the status of the cancellation. I find this level of service unprofessional and unacceptable. I am being charged for a service I no longer wish to use, and I feel as though my concerns are being ignored.I would appreciate immediate confirmation that my contract has been fully canceled, and that all billing has ceased. I expect this matter to be handled swiftly, and for Vivint to take responsibility for the ongoing inconvenience caused by this delay.Please treat this as an urgent matter, and I request a written confirmation of the cancellation at your earliest convenience. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate the matter through other channels.

      I am writing to formally file a complaint against Vivint regarding unethical and misleading sales practices. I believe Vivint's sales representatives used deceptive tactics to pressure customers into signing contracts that are properly explained and mislead ********************************* door-to-door sales representative aggressively pressured us into making an immediate purchase decision. The representative misrepresented several important aspects of the contract, including the financing terms, the ability to cancel at any time, the length of the agreement, and the overall costs involved. We were led to believe that we were receiving a limited-time offer that included three free months of servicea promotion that was never honored. The representative created a false sense of urgency, insisting that we had to sign the contract immediately to receive these benefits. Additionally, they claimed the installation needed to begin immediately to secure these offers, leaving us with little time to review or understand the contracts terms.After reluctantly agreeing, the installation technician arrived and performed a subpar installation that took nearly eight hours. Despite this, the equipment still does not work properly. To make matters worse, when I requested more time to think over the decision, the representative continued to pressure us and downplayed the importance of reviewing the agreement thoroughly. It became clear that critical information about cancellation policies, equipment fees, and long-term obligations had either not been explained properly or had been misrepresented ************* a result of these unethical tactics, I am now locked into a lengthy contract with significant financial implications that I did not fully consent to due to the misleading sales process.I am seeking the following resolutions:Immediate cancellation of my contract without penalty.A refund of any fees or charges incurred as a result of these deceptive sales practices.
