      The system works great but don't trust the sales **** they either forget what you talked about, don't put it in correctly, or don't follow through on promises, and hope you never need support because it'll be someone from a foreign country who can't help you because they don't understand or because Vivint makes their policies so they aren't allowed to help unless you pay them.

      Have been with this company since 2018. I decided to upgrade my equipment and purchased cameras as well pending a move to a house from a condo. I ended up not being able to move and called them to return the cameras which are still in the box and were not installed since they were intended for a house. they refused to give me a refund or accept the cameras and I found out during this call that they locked me in to a 5 year contract extension and told me if I cancel my services with them I have to pay 50% of the monitoring fees for the 5 year period.Worst customer experience with this company and I would not have purchased this equipment if I had known I would be stuck with them fro 5 years--go with a better company that won't trick you into buying equipment and extend your contract by FIVE years!!! one year is understandable but 5 years is absolutely insane.

      The worst company ever to deal with. I wanted to cancel my account and they wont let you. They tell you to call this number and after 2 30 minute phone calls they still want you to email them to cancel your account. Even after they told me they would not charge me again if Im not using their service they still charged me again making me stop future payments through my bank. Would never recommend them to anyone the worst experience of my life. ******** company that only cares about you if they are collecting money from you and just wont stop making you jump through hoops and still charging you.

      The worst!! Apparently I am in a VERBAL CONTRACT with a person that barely speaks ENGLISH. I am in a verbal contract until Oct 2028!! It took over an hour to talk to a supervisor in ********! Again could not understand her! No help evasive and wrong!!! They refused to give me the businesa address in ********! This is a SCAM SCAM SCAM DO NOT GET VIVINT. If I cancel now I will owe over $700.! They said its a verbal contract.

      I clearly have a sign on my door that says no soliciting. Why did the two individuals ignore my sign TWICE?***** do you expect someone to purchase your security system when your **** cant read or follow instructions?2. Why when I answered through my current security system didthey notanswer when all 3 of my cameras clearly captured me talking to them? Did they think I would jeopardize my safety by opening my door?3. Why are they half-dressedselling on your behalf?This is very unprofessional behavior and I am requesting a response from your corporate office about these two individuals and their lack of respect fora personsresidence. Why would I even consider your service when its already showing you cant read or follow instructions? Yes,I did come out and found them walking up and down my neighborhood in which once you enter also says NO SOLICITING. I will be submitting this also to the BBB and writing reviews on every platform I can find. This is in the LaFrontera Trailcommunity in *********,******I look forward to hearing from you.

      RUNNNNNNNN???????? VIVINT is the absolute worst?????????? I hate the day I got on ****** and chose them. I tried to cancel the day of the install. They didnt come with all my equipment then wanted to charge me for equipment that should have been in my order already. They refuse to cancel you even when its their fault. They wanna charge u a $500 cancellation fee because they screwed up. They offered me the rest of my equipment for $250 when originally trying to charge me an extra $1200. But when the technician came out to install my equipment he told me I had to pay $1200 up front before he could install, plus he said my appointment wasnt supposed to be that day when, even tho I had an email and text message to prove it was that day. When I called again to just cancel the service, again they wouldnt allow me to cancel, they offered a month of free service, and another appointment for 10 days later. . This has been the worst experience I have ever had. If I could rate them a ZERO I would. Vivint can ROT IN HELL????????

      Honestly they were a decent company for the large majority of my time with them. They gave me a great deal when i wanted to cancel the first time in 2018, but in 2025 when i finally didn't need their services anymore i was yanked around by support trying to give me all these things i explicitly said i no longer wanted.I was intentionally obtuse in saying "the only way i will remain a customer is to have it be free forever" and the agent decided to play into the rhetorical environment by asking if i think all services should be free.I do not understand why companies deem this practice acceptable generally. I saw Vivint favorably for almost a decade before today, and recommended them often to friends and family. I don't think i could realistically recommend them again knowing what a pain in the a** customer support will be eventually for them.

      Salesman continued to knock on our door 3 consecutive nights after being told no, after 8:30 in the evening. Stop. Just stop. At this point it is harassment and predatory.

      Absolutely disgusting experience with Vivint. If their door-to-door sales tactics are any reflection of the company itself, then its clear Vivint operates with ZERO respect or professionalism. I have a clearly visible No Soliciting signbig, bold, and impossible to missyet their pushy, oblivious *** decided that didnt apply to him. He strolled right up to my door like he owned the place, completely disregarding my property and my clearly stated wishes.If your salespeople cant even read a simple sign or show basic decency, how on earth can anyone trust you with something as serious as home security? The fact that Vivint hires and trains people like this says everything you need to know about their company values: aggressive, disrespectful, and arrogant.I wouldnt trust Vivint to watch a goldfish, let alone secure a home. Do betteror better yet, stop knocking on doors where youre not wanted. One star because zero isnt an option.

      I do not recommend vivint, they installed my system improperly so the panel will not seat properly on the wall. It has caused many issues with my system and I have asked many times for them to fix it. They want me to pay them to fix what they did wrong on install. I will be finding another security company when my contract is up. They also force you to buy your equipment that only works with their system.
