      I was told I would get a demo period for my device where if I was not happy with it after 3 months I believe I could cancel and have the equipment picked up. I tried canceling a month after using as I do not actually need it in my home. I had attempted it due to my mother passing and having more anxiety with just my sister and I at home. I also was NEVER told during installation they would put my name on a credit card for a $6k limit and put a $2k charge on it. I am young, grieving and raising my little sister and just wanted possible home security. I started getting charges and notices about the credit card and immediately wanted to cancel. They said I could not cancel unless I paid $900 which is fifty percent of the equipments total. I said that was never told to me or I would have never went through with my demo. I now have credit card debt and devices I do not want due to Vivint refusing to let me cancel my services with them. I cannot believe how easily they just ruined a lot for me, I need help with this.

      As a Vivint customer, my frustration stems from a ********************** system that consistently fails when I'm away, often 1000 miles from home. The recurring issue of my system going "out of service" specifically when I'm out of town completely undermines its purpose.Vivint's customer service offers no solution without someone physically present at the house. This is absurd for a remote security system. When my system bricks while I'm away, and support tells me I need to be there to fix it, it negates every benefit. This Catch-22 leaves me feeling helpless and my home vulnerable.I invested in Vivint for remote management and peace of mind. Instead, I get a false sense of security and a system that fails when I'm most dependent on it. The lack of proactive communication about outages further erodes my trust. I cannot recommend Vivint, especially for those who travel frequently, as it simply doesn't deliver reliable remote security.

      Opening our security door to bang directly on my front door multiple times. We don't answer, but that doesn't stop them from coming back multiple times. They leave our security door open and walk away after multiple attempts. Disgusting and invasive sales tactic. Even if I wanted a security system, I wouldn't get one from a company that encourages these practices. I left a yelp review and they had it removed because I wasnt using their services. Whhhhyyy would I use your services if this is how you do business???

      Do not EVER purchase anything from Vivint. They are liars and you only have a 3 day trial instead of 30. They are pushy and these young kids they have selling the systems do nothing but lie for a commission. They lied and said that I wanted a downgrade and I wanted everything removed and then they said I had to pay way over $2,000 to get out the contract. They refused to help me and trying to more or less say I have to stay with them. I was suppose to get a refund of the equipment and I would have payed the balance. If you want to get an alarm system, please dont use Vivint. They are scammers!!!!!!!!!!!!

      On May 14th I had a vivint Agent come to my house and ask if we wanted the service, my first response was no and I should have stuck with NO. After coming up with a good price he convinced me to say yes. This was around 7pm in the evening. He then told me another guy would be by to set it up, I said today? It's already late. The guy came around 9pm that night. I was getting 3 cameras outdoors, doorbell, lock with code and flood lights. He stopped the installation around 12 something, midnight. He said he would come back tomorrow to finish. He wrote me the next day and said they were swamped so he had to get me another day. . Now today June 10th, 2025. . My installation is still incomplete, I'm missing a camera and the lock they put in on my door does not line up so I cannot lock my door through my phone or from the monitor. I have to manually lock it. I still have to use the temporary password they gave me because the installation is not complete yet. Also they ran a cord in the middle of my wall not the corner. At this point I have tried calling to cancel this service but they said my trial period ended on the 19th of May. My question is how can my trial period start when my installation was never complete to even start. Now that I want to cancel they want to come install the remaining equipment so that they can charge me for the full amount of the equipment I was suppose to get. I would just like to cancel and be done with this company. This has been a headache.

      Vivint will not cancel my account, despite multiple calls and emails. They have a neat trick where they transfer your call around and each person you speak to says, "oh, I can't help you with that, but how about I send you a new camera for just $5 more a month..." - when you say "no thanks, please cancel," they put you on eternal hold so you have to call back and start the whole process again. This is consumer fraud.

      Dont do business with ***.. He told us that we could try the service for 30 days and if we didnt like it we could cancel the service.. So we got a bill in the mailbox for ******* and he didnt even discuss that with us.. He had a tablet but we didnt read over anything but he had to have my social security number to sign up.. He works out of the ************..So I canceled my service but they said that I still had to pay the ******* for the equipment.. They dont take equipment back and they left a mess at my house also..

      Price I paid was more than I was told, not able to use my phone to access cameras, questions unanswered, not given yard sign, text messages ignoreed

      I'm not pleased with the service. I had 2 items removed from my system and I'm having an issue with getting my account adjusted. I've had to make several calls asking for proof of my account being adjusted and still with no luck. Hard to trust this company.

      This business has robbed me of $300. I have called in to cancel 3 times and they are still charging my card! Just now I was told there was a cancellation form required to be submitted and no other agent said anything about it. This was after various other excuses. No cancellation still and she said they wouldnt refund me anyway.
