      Vivint home service is a fraud we were told we had 30days to cancel service and when we tried to cancel we was told I only had 5 days to cancel now they told us we have to pay over a thousand dollars to cancel service and also the service amount is different from what we was quoted .I was not told that I was have to pay for the camera from another company which I had to take out a loan for the camera .So I have to pay more for this service and carmera.

      I've been dealing with these guys for several months now trying to get this service cancelled. I did manage to get the refund for returning the equipment,but they continue to try to charge me a monthly service fee for a service I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE! I have disputed the charges to my bank over and over again and just filed a claim with the *************************. Let's hope my credit score has not been tarnished? Because my next step is to file a lawsuit against them. Vivint is probably the worst business I have ever dealt with!

      I got tricked into changing my security system from ADT to Vivint by a Vivint tech telling me ADT no longer serviced my area. I have since found out that *** DOES still serviced my area. I was told I wouldnt have to pay for the new system, but was later charged for a complete new Vivint system. Since then Im having numerous problems with the Vivint system. I cant get them to send anyone out to correct the issues. Ive called 2 times today alone for problems Im having. The same problem continues to persist. The Vivint personal refuse to send out help or correct the problems. I was lied to and tricked by a Vivint employee getting me to change my security system went it was unnecessary. After the new system was installed, and I was having problems with the Vivint system, I was contacted by **** and found out that it was under false pretenses that Vivint told me all of this to get me to change to a Vivint system. I have had numerous problems with this vivint system. They refuse to do anything when I call them as far as sending out a technician to get it working correctly for me they try to get me to do the work at the house and I am not a technician. I do not know what theyre talking about half the time. What Im asking for is vivid to come get their system out of my house. Give me my money back that I have spent for their new system that they talked me into. I want to get ADT back as my alarm system.

      This company *****, at first would not cancel within the 30 day allotment, then they tried all kinds of stuff to get me to sign up.THIS company ***** and rip off artists.

      ****************. They engage in deceptive and unethical business practices. Vivint has charged my bank account for services I did not agree to. At no point during the sales or installation process was I adequately informed any of obscene charges that I was charged. They deliberately waited until the trial period was up before they responded to me. I called several times and even emailed. Key contract details were either minimized or omitted entirely.. calls and emails mostly go unanswered or are routed in circles, with no resolution or ability to cancel the service. These practices have caused me financial distress and frustration. I believe this constitutes a violation of consumer protection standards and deceptive trade practices.Extremely unsatisfied customer and will do my best to spread the word to not patronize this company ****** *****

      The installation of the equipment started on June 11, 2025. It was getting late so the technician couldn't finish the installation. The sales *** stated since I was going to be out of town, for the rest of the week, the technician could finish when I got back and that's when the 3 day trial would start. I told him I was coming back on Sunday night so the technician would come on Monday. However, No one came on Monday so I called customer service and made a ***ort. They sent a technician on Tuesday. The technician stated that my 3 day trial will start since the installation is done now. I called the office on Thursday, June 19 ( before the end of the 3 day trial) to let them know I will not be needing there service. I was told my 3 day trial ended on Monday, June 16, 2025.Half of the products were installed on June 11 and half on June 17. The customer service ***resentative wants me to pay for the equipment if I want to end the service. Stating I am already in the contract. The contract is not binding if the installation wasn't completed. **************** personnel vary each time I call and none of them follow through with the possible solution.

      I learned that Vivint was no longer going to service my area, and my contract was being bought out by the new company. I made several attempts to contact Vivint to get my final bill so I could close my account as instructed and Vivint refused to work with me. I sent a hand written letter, made several phone calls, and even sent several emails making my request since August of 2024. It is now about to be July of 2025 and I'm still having the same fight about getting a final bill. I've talked to so many different people from different departments and got nowhere. Vivint even referred me to a bank stating that I had to settle with this bank before I could close my account. That bank had no idea who I was or why I was calling them. And the sad thing is, that bank was more helpful than Vivint because they didn't waste my time giving me the runaround. I'm still being billed for services that I'm not even using and now Vivint is sending reports to my credit report saying I'm behind on my payments and has dropped my credit score 150 points! I didn't even know that was possible. I regret ever letting them come in my home. I'd give less than a star if possible.

      Sales person promised that the equipment and installation were free if I marketed for them (sign in yard, post on social media, word of mouth) and that at the end of my contract my monthly service fee would cut in half. In reality they opened a line of credit for the equipment and installation and after I pay that off that would cover half of the monthly service fee. Sales person blatantly lied to us and forced into the largest package since it was all free.On top of that, support is unbearable to deal with. Numerous conversations with support always giving different information. One even tried to charge me $100 to send a tech out just to be told by the next support person theres no fee for 120 days. They blatantly lie and have scammed into a long and expensive contract.100% do not work with Vivint.

      Horrible experience. They are overcharging what they told me. I asked to have my cameras removed and they did but are still charging me for them and they arent being helpful to resolve the issue. Im willing to talk, but they dont care.

      0/10 DO NOT TRUST VIVINT. Their salesman told us we had 30 days to cancel. I called within 5 days. They told me it was over my 4 day trial period. I have called 4 times to cancel my subscription and for them to remove the system. They have told me 3 times that a technician would come out. No one has showed. I had a technician text my boyfriend today after telling them to call me! This technician wasn't even in our state and had a work order to fix our door lock. I now have to call Vivint AGAIN! I want their equipment out of my house! They also opened a $3000 credit line with another company for the equipment. They're CROOKS!
