      So far, I have had no response from Vivint after placing a request for my equipment to be adjusted. The customer service seems to be disorganized, and they have cancelled my appointment twice with no warning and no contact after. I plan to cancel my service at this point, as the equipment is not worth the lack of service.

      Service is great, no complaints, now there sales people..... Absolutely shady, we were told that we would be available for upgrades on our equipment free of charge as the new equipment was updated and available, 5 years later come to find out, no that was a complete lie, they want to charge us an astronomical amount of money to upgrade our equipment to there current standard equipment. Makes us kind of uneasy knowing that the company we trust to protect our home employs and possibly encourages such dishonesty.

      Vivint's cancellation process can be quite challenging. Despite contacting the appropriate department and investing over 2 hours on the phone, along with paying an extra fee, there is no assurance of immediate cancellation. Furthermore, after 30 days, an additional fee may be required. This type of business practice is concerning. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to others.

      ****************. They engage in deceptive and unethical business practices. Vivint has charged my bank account for services I did not agree to. At no point during the sales or installation process was I adequately informed of any of obscene charges that I was charged. They deliberately waited until the trial period was up before they responded to me. I called several times and even emailed. Key contract details were either minimized or omitted entirely.. calls and emails mostly go unanswered or are routed in circles, with no resolution or ability to cancel the service. These practices have caused me financial distress and frustration. I believe this constitutes a violation of consumer protection standards and deceptive trade practices.Extremely unsatisfied customer and will do my best to spread the word to not patronize this company ****** *****

      I recently change to a new security company, and I'm having a very difficult time trying to cancel my service with Vivint. I mailed them a letter requesting that the service be canceled, and I've spoken with several **** who have totally disregarded my request. They keep insisting on making offers for me to stay with their company. I am sick and tired of going in circles with them. At this point, I feel that my only option is to seek legal action.

      I am not happy with service first off the lured me in with false advertisement and false promises, they only give you 30 days before your completely tied in, they dont explain that you will have two separate bills in the beginning they also dont tell you that do a hard credit check, I was told it was a soft inquiry but that was a lie, I wasnt told that I was approved for any credit so when checking my bill with Vivint it was confusing to see a 1700 dollar bill, I had to literally call to find out what happened, so long story short I got played and when trying reason with them far as the bill they only had three options which was all BS because it didnt help my situation at all, so I basically just had to accept what was offered, there not willing to work with customers at all. A 4 month plan paying a 1700 dollar balance with my installment being over 400 dollars is insane, dont come to Vivint they will lure you with fake information and promises and once your in the company they give a 1000 excuses on why they cant help you. I will not recommend to anyone unless you dont mind being trapped in a contract with an un loyal company

      Their salesmen say whatever they want for a sale. There's no written promises so it becomes your word against theirs. They don't tell you they open a line of credit. The sales man Brecken from **** knew we had just bought our home and were hesitant on making this big purchase of a security system and he told us he would apply his commission to this sale which mean he then quoted us for $1,650 the credit line they opened was for $2,800. 2 months go by and we call Vivint and ask why the ******************* wasn't applied. ******* stated, he never made that promise to us. He lied to make the sale. The installers that came then did a sloppy job and made holes in the wall and spackled over them. The spackle is white our wall colors are beige, it looks sloppy. They don't hold their sales men accountable and that's why they continue to be deceitful.

      The sales representatives like to prey on disabled people like myself. I was told that I could try this system for 30 days and return it if I didn't like it, a pure lie. I am now stuck with a nearly 3,000$ system that I don't want. I am angry beyond belief. This company is a fraud. Stick to your ring cameras. Do yourself a favor and this company.
